Chapter Ten

I HAD WOKEN UP early and left Hudson asleep in bed. Nico and Gino had spent their first night alone together, so I wasn’t expecting them to be up either as I walked down the stairs to start breakfast for them all.
As I expected, the apartment was silent as I walked into the kitchen and started to get everything ready for breakfast. Nico usually insisted that he cook for us all in the morning, but today, I wanted him to rest and spend as much time as possible with Gino. It had taken them years to finally admit their feelings for each other, and they deserved that time together.
I quickly started a batch of bacon and mixed the pancakes to cook. I put a large jug of coffee on and started to cook. I was just about to start the eggs when I heard a voice in the doorway.
“Thought you’d get away with it, didn’t you?”
I looked around to find both Nico and Gino standing in the doorway, looking as devilishly handsome as ever. They walked over to me and placed their arms around me, sandwiching me between their hard bodies. They each pressed a kiss to my cheek, and I could already feel the pleasure building inside me at having their bodies so close to me. However, I knew that nothing could happen until this evening. There was so much that I had to get done today, as well as spending time with Hudson for his birthday. I wanted to make this one of the best birthdays he had ever had.
“You two were supposed to be spending time together, not coming down here and interfering with breakfast. Now, behave.”
At that, I heard another husky voice in the doorway. “Who’s not behaving?”
I looked up and saw Hudson standing there, shirtless in just his pants, causing yet another wave of heat to go over my body. How I thought I could survive living in a house with three gorgeous men, I never knew. I was starting to doubt whether this was indeed a good idea. The guys parted ways as Hudson stalked over to me and grabbed me in his arms, leaning down and whispering in my ear.
“You didn’t answer me, Angel. Who is not behaving?”
I felt a shiver run across my skin as my sir spoke to me. He knew how to get a reaction from me with just his voice. I inhaled sharply, immediately smelling the citrus and musk of his aftershave, which always made me go weak at the knees. Instantly, I realized that I had made a mistake. I slowly looked up at Hudson towering above me with stern eyes, waiting for an answer.
“Don’t make me ask a third time, Angel.”
I took a gulp of air before I quietly answered him. “I was telling Nico and Gino to behave themselves, sir. They weren’t doing anything wrong. I was just warning them before they did.”
I felt like a schoolgirl being told off by the headmaster every time Hudson spoke to me in that tone.
He pressed a kiss to my lips and smiled. “I guess they will have to be punished later, then, won’t they?”
I gently nodded my head and looked over at Nico and Gino, who both had smiles on their faces. They both knew what Hudson’s surprise this evening was, but had promised me they wouldn’t tell him. I was starting to wonder if they had.
“Now, I want to spend some more time with my gorgeous woman, so why don’t you allow Nico and Gino to take over?”
Hudson took my hand and led me past Nico and Gino, who were both standing there smirking at me as if they had won. I was sure I would have the last laugh in the end, though. Nico gave me a suggestive wink as I left the kitchen and walked into the living room. I had already placed my present and card on the table for Hudson and was surprised when I walked in there to find more presents waiting. I guessed they must have been from Nico and Gino, as well as possibly Trent and Kristen, as they had been there at the beginning of this week.
Hudson sat down in one of the armchairs and immediately pulled me onto his lap. A small squeal left my lips. He instantly wound his arms around me and pressed his lips to mine.
“I had hoped to wake up with my beautiful woman lying next to me this morning, as it is my birthday.”
I suddenly felt bad. I had wanted to make the day special for him, so I had thought I would get breakfast ready for everyone, but it seemed I had just made it worse.
“I’m sorry. I was just so caught up in getting everything ready for your birthday that I didn’t think. Will you forgive me?”
I tried to look as pathetic as possible with wide puppy dog eyes, but all that seemed to do was make Hudson burst out into hysterics.
I was angry now. I had put so much effort into today, and he was laughing at me. I slapped him on the shoulder, which made him laugh even more. I tried to get off him and give him a piece of my mind, but he held onto me tightly as his laughter faded. He pressed a kiss to my neck and I couldn’t help but move my head so he could get access easier.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart. I couldn’t help it. You are so damn sexy when you are angry. I’m not really upset. I know you have planned today and just want it to be perfect, which I am sure it will be. I just missed waking up to you in bed this morning, that was all. Now, can I open my presents please?”
Who knew that Hudson was just a big kid at heart? I wondered if Nico was the same and whether they were as bad as this at Christmas. Seeing him sitting there, pleading with his eyes, I couldn’t refuse him.
“You can open my present, but you will have to check with the guys if you can open theirs.”
I leaned over to the table got the present I had carefully wrapped, along with my card, and gave it to Hudson. It was quite awkward having him unwrap the present while I was sitting on his lap, but it was obvious he wasn’t going to let me go. I held my breath as he opened the box and removed the cover on the cufflinks. It was only when I saw his eyes light up as he took one out and looked at the back of it that I knew they were perfect.
“Did you have these made for me? I’ve been looking for something similar since we got together. They are amazing.” He pressed another kiss to my lips.
“Yes. I had them specially made by a jeweler here in New York. I really hoped you’d like them. Happy birthday, Hudson.”
“I love them.”
It was then we heard Gino’s voice from the doorway.
“See, I told you he would, tesoro. Now, Nico says you’d better get back into the kitchen before he devours everything that’s been cooked, especially the bacon.”
I pressed a kiss to Hudson’s cheek, and we both made our way into the kitchen to enjoy our breakfast together.
IT WAS NEARLY FIVE in the afternoon, and Gino and I had just arrived at Pleasures to get everything ready for the evening. We were greeted by the manager as we walked in, who took us up to the private dining area next to Hudson’s suite. They had decorated the room exactly how I had arranged, and it looked perfect. There really wasn’t much that we needed to do. They would bring the food out just before seven, when Nico and Hudson were due to arrive, so it was just the case of making sure everything was set up in the suite.
I had been here a few times and knew exactly how Hudson liked the room to look. I knew this was the first time that Gino had been here – well, in Hudson’s suite, anyway – so I wanted him to get used to it so it wasn’t a shock when we came in here later.
“Do you want me to show you the suite? I wasn’t sure if you had ever been in a club like this before.”
An embarrassed look came over Gino’s face, which told me everything. I walked over to him, took his hand in mine, lifted up, and pressed a kiss to his lips.
“It’s okay if you haven’t. I still remember my first time. Come on, I will show you around. Then you won’t be so shocked when you come in here this evening.”
I grabbed my dress and shoes that I had placed on one of the chairs and led Gino into the room. In some respects, this was quite different from the normal rooms in a club, because not everything was on display. Hudson kept nearly everything inside cupboards at the side of the room. As we walked in, I looked over at Gino to gauge his reaction and was pleased when I didn’t see a look of horror come over his face.
“Are all clubs like this? I expected there to be implements of torture all over the place.”
I giggled as I walked over to the cupboards at the side and opened them to show all of the different whips, handcuffs, blindfolds, and everything else that Hudson owned. I turned to look at Gino, whose face had dropped and his mouth in the shape of an O.
“Does that answer your question?”
He started to walk over to me his face full of amazement and curiosity. His voice was quiet as he spoke. “Why does the sight of that turn me on more than it should?”
I smiled at him, knowing exactly what he was feeling because I felt it every time I walked in here and saw everything lying in its place.
I walked next to him and pressed a kiss to his cheek before whispering in his ear. “I guess I’d better get Hudson to teach me how to use these properly, then. Either that or Hudson will have another willing sub?”
I could almost see the shiver of anticipation go through his body as he turned his head and looked at me. I didn’t have a moment to think before his lips crashed against mine as he devoured my mouth with desire. We both stood there for a while, kissing each other passionately with a hunger in Gino’s kiss that I had never experienced before. He broke away from the kiss, his breathing heavy and a look of pure lust in his eyes.
“I can’t wait for tonight.”
I smiled at him, my lips swollen and red from our kiss. “Neither can I. Now, it’s nearly six o’clock and we both have to get ready, as well as finish getting set up. There is a bathroom and changing room if you want to get ready first. I just want you to do something for me this evening. When Hudson tells me to get ready in here, will you undo my dress for me? I want to tease him this evening before we start our scene. Plus, I know it will mean more punishment for me. The kind I like.”
Gino groaned in front of me, knowing exactly what I would be wearing under my dress. He just shook his head before he spoke.
“You will be the death of us all, tesoro. Yes, I will do that for you, but believe me, if I get punished for it, you will pay.”
I laughed as he walked toward the bathroom to start getting ready, while I finished preparing the room for when Hudson and Nico arrived.
I HAD JUST FINISHED getting myself ready and was about to walk back into the private dining area. I had left Gino in charge of all the finishing touches while I got ready. Seeing him as he walked out of the bathroom in his pants and tight shirt, I nearly started without Hudson and Nico. He looked scandalously handsome and sexy with his muscles trying to escape out. He always dressed quite conservatively whenever he was around me, even at the beginning of the week, but he seemed to have gone all out tonight. I wasn’t sure who he was trying to impress, but I wondered if it could actually be Hudson.
I stepped out into the dining room just as Hudson and Nico entered and watched as their mouths almost dropped to the floor like cartoon characters when they saw me. I could hear Gino chuckling next to me.
“I think that was the reaction you were looking for, tesoro. Did I look like that in the changing room when you bought it?”
I turned to look at him with a smirk on my face. “I didn’t get a chance to see your face, as you stalked over to me so quickly.”
I hadn’t noticed that Hudson and Nico had walked over to me while I was speaking to Gino, and I squealed as I was suddenly lifted up by a pair of strong arms and my lips claimed by one of them. It wasn’t until I heard Nico’s husky voice whisper in my ear that I realized who was kissing me.
“I think Hudson is enjoying his present, principessa.” He chuckled as Hudson continued to devour me. “Hudson, you are going to have to let Rosa breathe in a minute. Plus, all of the food is going to waste.”
Hudson broke away, his lips red from the ferocity of his kiss. His eyes were dark as he stared into mine. I had never seen him so affected by something I had worn, but as Gino said, it was the reaction I was looking for.
Hudson leaned down and whispered in my ear. “I can feel you don’t have any underwear on, Angel. Were you planning on getting a punishment this evening?”
“I guess you will have to wait and see, sir .”
