Chapter 1 #3
I crawled on top of her and pushed the object between my legs inside of her. “Does that hurt?”
“A little.” The moan that escaped Jax’s throat told me it was the pleasurable kind of pain so I knew it was okay to keep going.
“Good.” I pushed even deeper inside of her. “I want to hear you scream.”
“That…” Jax groaned as I moved in and out of her. “That won’t be a problem.”
Since she had already been so close when I was going down on her, I knew it wouldn’t be long before she climaxed, so I wanted to make it worth her while. I thrust into her as hard and fast as I possibly could until she screamed out in pleasure.
The sight was so sexy that I quickly removed the harness so I could touch myself while I watched her come down from her orgasm.
My clit was so engorged, I knew it wouldn’t take long to get myself off.
I pushed two fingers inside of myself while I used the other hand to stimulate my clit.
When Jax opened her eyes and saw what I was doing she watched me intently.
Between the work of my hands and the way her eyes were searing into me, it wasn’t long before my orgasm hit as well.
I laid on the bed next to Jax as I struggled to catch my breath.
After a minute, Jax giggled beside me. “Okay, I’m pretty sure I’m pregnant now.”
That was the last thing I expected her to say, so I burst into laughter. I loved how Jax could have me burning hot one second and then laughing like a child the next second. It was one of the things I loved most about our relationship.
I rolled onto my side so I could face her. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.” Jax reached out and pulled me closer to her. “I love you all the time no matter what, but damn, I think I love you even more than I ever have before right now.”
I playfully pushed her away from me. “Are you just using me for the sex?” I joked.
Jax shook her head and tapped the top of mine. “I’m using you for that big beautiful brain. The sex is just a bonus.”
“Could you imagine if we really could get pregnant by having sex?” I asked. “It’d be so much fun.”
“Right? That really is something that’s wasted on straight people.”
Joking about getting pregnant was clearly a bad idea, because the thought of it made me sad. Jax must have noticed because the smile left her face as well.
“You’re getting sad again, aren’t you?” she asked.
“Sorry. I know it’s stupid. I just really want to start our family and this whole process has taken a lot out of me. If I’m being honest, the thought of starting IVF makes me sick.”
Jax ran a hand through my hair. “Then let’s take a break. No one is forcing us to do this immediately. We have time.”
“That’s the thing. We really don’t. We’re already at the age where it’s considered a geriatric pregnancy.”
Jax put a hand over her chest. “Geriatric? Now, that’s offensive.”
I smiled in spite of how I was feeling. “It’s just harder to get pregnant at this age, and the older we get, the more risks there are.”
“We could always adopt. That way, there’s no pressure to be a certain age.”
I was surprised to hear Jax suggest adoption since it was something we had never talked about. It wasn’t that I was against adoption. That just brought on a whole new path and meant much more research. I was already running through all of the questions in my head just from the mention of adoption.
“Would you want to adopt?” I asked dumbly, as if she hadn’t been the one who suggested it.
“I just want a family with you. I don’t care how we make that family.”
“For some reason, I hadn’t even considered adoption.” I took a deep breath and blew it out. “That gives me a lot to think about.”
“Why don’t we take the next month or two to think about it?
Taking a few months off isn’t going to suddenly make all of your eggs shrivel away and die.
Let’s take the time to relax and clear our heads before we decide which direction to go in next.
Who knows? Maybe we’ll get some sort of sign in that time. ”
“Really?” I laughed. “A sign?”
“You never know.” Jax looked at me with her trademark smile and sparkling eyes. “What do you say?”
There was no way I could ever say no to that face, no matter what the question was, but Jax also had a point. “You’re right. I think I need some time to clear my head. This has been a lot, and I think the relaxation could be good for me.”
“Now the challenge will be getting you to actually relax,” Jax teased. “I’m making a rule. No researching IVF or adoption over the next two months.”
I made my best pouty face. “But what if I find research relaxing?”
Jax laughed and squeezed my cheeks. “Don’t worry. I’m pretty sure we can think of other, much better ways, to relax you.”
“If you’re talking about sex, I can’t have more right now.”
Jax laughed even harder now. “Are you kidding me? I can’t either. I think you just about killed me tonight.”
“Poor baby. I hope you can recover.”
“I think I’ll find a way.”
I had no doubt that she would in the same way that we would find a way to make it through this trial. As long as we had each other, we could make it through anything.
