THEO’S APARTMENT

Saturday

I gripped my cock, water pounding my back as I stood in the shower.

I pictured her here, on her knees, looking up at me with those dark eyes, her tongue teasing my tip as she touched herself.

I knew what that tongue felt like, what her mouth felt like, and having that–just knowing what it was like to touch her–drove me fucking insane.

One taste. I couldn’t live with just one taste.

I knew Mia was wrong for me, but that didn’t seem to matter. I kept finding myself here, doing this. Making myself come to the thought of her beneath me, on top of me, soaked with my cum. In her mouth, her ass, her pussy; on her stomach, on her back, on her knees.

Pressure built as I pictured her bent over, hands braced against the tiled wall, her curves rippling as I thrust into her.

Her prim, proper accent would tilt her moans, pushing them into something raw.

I’d reach down, roll her clit under my touch, and she’d spread her legs wider, letting me in deeper.

I’d come. My shoulders would tremble, my abs would strain, and I’d fill her until it dripped down her thighs.

Slowly, my pretty little fantasy faded. I worked out the last of my orgasm and turned off the water.

Chiropractic Care

Later that morning, I was in my office, sorting through emails before the workday started. Kira was in the coffee shop on the first floor, picking up breakfast. She’d be back any minute, and I had to be in the reception area before Loretta walked in.

Saturdays were my slowest days, but they were Loretta’s busiest.

She had back-to-back clients scheduled for massages, and I knew Mia was one of them.

For the sake of my sanity, I shouldn’t have been here. I should’ve rostered on one of my other chiropractors, but apparently, I was a masochist. The thought of running into Mia was enough to drag me into the office.

Once my inbox was cleared, I shut down my computer and stepped into the reception area. Kira sat behind the desk with a bacon and egg roll nestled by her elbow.

“Hey, Dad, the line was pretty short. Your roll might be cold.”

I picked up my coffee and drank deep. I was still in a fog, and no matter how many showers I stood beneath, I just couldn’t shake it.

“Thanks. I needed this.” I looked down at the book she was reading, her replacement for Misplaced. She’d read it four times already; the pages were filled with sticky tabs. “How was class yesterday?”

Kira shut her book with a groan. “It was fine, Dad. You don’t need to keep checking on me.”

“It just happened, Kira. A bully doesn’t stop bullying overnight.”

“Well, she did. Probably because you and Miss Walker were so scary in that meeting.”

“Did she apologize?”

Kira gave me a doubtful look. “Miss Walker wouldn’t make her do that.”

I shrugged. “Miss Walker’s a bit of a pit-bull. I could see her digging her heels in on something like that.”

She smirked. “Yeah, but Amber is one of her students too, you know. I’m not exactly special, Dad.”

“That’s where you’re wrong.” I bent to kiss the side of her head, and she pretended to gag. “You’re the most special kid in that class.”

“Ew, Dad.”

“Yeah, yeah. I know.”

Loretta walked in just as I swallowed the last bite of my breakfast. She was long-limbed but strong, with white-blonde hair and blue eyes that were brighter than mine.

In her fifties, Loretta was more qualified than any other applicant, and hiring her meant I didn’t have to massage handsy clients like May.

“Mornin’, boss,” she greeted. “Who’ve I got today?”

My gut clenched as Kira handed Loretta the daily schedule. Mia’s name was on there, and it just hit me–she was going to be here. Physically. In one of her flowy, easy-to-lift, pull-and-tug dresses. In front of Kira.

That wouldn’t go down well. The questions alone would be a minefield.

“Thanks, little miss Kira-Bean. Not running lines with your boyfriend today?”

Boyfriend. I didn’t like hearing that.

“He’s not my boyfriend. Not yet, anyway.” Kira giggled. “He asked me to meet him, but Dad needs me here.”

“I don’t.”

I spoke too quickly. Both Kira and Loretta looked at me with raised brows.

“Clients can rebook and pay at my desk; I don’t need anyone answering phones today.” I tried to play it off with a shrug. “If you want to meet him, you can.”

Loretta’s expression shifted to confusion. “But I was told you lectured this little moppet the last time she went out to run lines.”

“Yeah, Dad,” Kira teased. “You ‘lectured’ me.”

It was hard to look put out when Kira’s smile was so genuine. She really liked this kid. I knew what that felt like–to feel excited to see someone.

“I was worried. I didn’t know the kid.”

“And nooooow?” Kira sang, clearly enjoying this. I didn’t admit to being wrong all that often.

“And now I trust that you know what you’re doing. I’m okay with you heading out. Loretta and I can handle it.”

“Yeah, we can handle it,” Loretta echoed, and Kira beamed up at me. It helped beat back the guilt.

If Kira was happy, I was happy. This didn’t have to be about keeping her away from her teacher. Or because of that kiss. It could be as simple as that if I let it be.

George rolled his shoulders back with a satisfied sigh. I opened my office door and led him out. My first client was done for the day, and I had five more to go.

The distraction was exactly what I needed. I managed to stop thinking about Mia long enough to worry about Kira before the usual grind cleared my head.

But that was before I saw her.

She sat across from the reception desk in a white floral dress that looked soft and frail. Her hair brushed her bare shoulders, sweeping across her collarbone as she crossed and uncrossed her smooth legs. She stared at her phone, pointedly ignoring me.

“See you next time,” George called, waving as he stepped into the elevator across the hall.

Shit. How did he get there so fast?

I grunted and tore my eyes away from Mia long enough to scan the waiting room. My next client wasn’t here yet, and with no one manning reception, I had to wait.

Trying not to stare at Mia while I waited wasn’t going to be easy.

“Do you have to stand there?” she asked, still glaring at her phone.

I cleared my throat. “My next client isn’t here yet.”

“Can’t you wait in your office?”

“I won’t be able to see reception from my office. I won’t know if he’s here.”

“What if I bring him to you?”

The corner of my lip twitched. “You might be in your massage by then.”

She grumbled quietly, her eyes still glued to the screen.

It was a bad idea, but I went to her anyway. She was in a social media app, scrolling furiously.

“Are you looking for something specific?”

“No. I’ve gone and made my eyes blurry, haven’t I?”

“Why would you do that?”

“So I don’t have to see you.”

I frowned, bending so I could get a better look at her. Her eyes were crossed.

I laughed, and it must’ve surprised her because she snapped her focus to me.

She sounded exasperated. “How is that the sexiest sound I’ve ever heard?”

I shook my head, still laughing as she stood and walked away.

“You’re unbearable,” she said softly. “You’re supposed to avoid me, remember?”

I shoved my hands in my pockets and shrugged. She made a frustrated noise in her throat.

“And those dimples.” She put her face in her hands. “This isn’t fair, Theo. This was easier when I thought you were a dick.”

I ran a hand through my hair. “This isn’t easy for me either. Every time I see you, I feel like…” I let out a breath and shrugged again. “I can’t stop thinking about it.”

She folded her arms and glared at me, but her cheeks were flushed. She might have been genuinely irritated, but all I could focus on was the way her tongue flicked out to lick her bottom lip.

Then she rolled her eyes and admitted, “Me too. I’ve thought about it so many times, I had to replace my vibrator.”

I laughed as she broke into a grin, and her smile… fuck. This was the first time I’d seen it since that meeting.

I hoped that something would change after that kiss.

I thought that maybe I’d wake up and it’d click into place.

That some small part of this would work itself out of my system.

But the minute I saw her, I was back here again, wanting more.

And it was worse this time. She had no idea what she did to me.

Even now, all I could think about was how she felt in my hands.

“I knew you were trouble.”

She poked her tongue out at me, then sang, “Trouble or not, I’m still your daughter’s teacher.”

That little… I wanted to push her against the desk and kiss her, but she turned away just as Loretta rounded the corner.

“Miss Walker?” Loretta lowered Mia’s file.

“That’s me. And you have no idea how glad I am to see you.”

Loretta let out a good-natured laugh at Mia’s teasing, charmed like most people were by her. “Let’s get started then. Follow me.”

She spun on her heel and led Mia down the hallway. I watched them go. Mia looked back just once and stared at me. It almost looked like she was afraid.

I understood. This feeling scared the shit out of me too.
