Chapter 14

“Arrow, stop! He’s gonna hear us,” she whispered while trying to fight off my kisses.

When I set this whole night up, Boss was aware that he would be here all night.

As Hendrix was getting older, he was becoming the world’s smallest cock-blocker. The shop had gotten an influx of orders, which usually happened around this time, to get bikes ready for the summer. The only difference this time was I had Cecilia and Hendrix, so I couldn’t move how I was used to moving.

Tonight, she was mine, and tomorrow, it would be the three of us.

“So! My brother is smart. I’m sure he knew what was going to go down as soon as I got you back upstairs.”

Cecilia let me feel her up, but when I got to the apex of her thighs, she gripped my wrist.

“At least let me tell him he can leave.”

I kissed her lips.

“Nah. He on baby duty until tomorrow. We good, I promise.”

She squinted up at me, and my only response was a grin.

Cecilia could get pretty loud, but it wasn’t anything Boss had never heard before, so her objections were mute. I bit her jaw, and that was all it took for her to succumb to my mannish plans. She wrapped her arms around my neck as mine traveled down to her waist. I led her over to the bed, never removing my lips from hers.

Once her back hit the mattress, she pulled away.

“You have to be quiet, Arrow.”

My head reared back as I looked at her.

“Me? Baby, I think that’s a conversation you need to have with yourself.”

“See!”

I rolled over on my back and pushed her slightly.

“Put some music on then, and while you’re up… strip for me.”

Cecilia side-eyed me but did as I asked. While she moved around the room, I rested my hands behind my head. Once “Nothing in This World” by Keke Wyatt and Avant started to play, she came to stand directly in front of me. With a slow sway of her hips, Cecilia pulled her dress down, and I had to sit up on my elbows to get a better look at her. I remembered everything I’d bought for this night, but the piece on her body under the dress was something I hadn’t seen before.

She kicked the dress to the side and strutted toward me.

“You look like you’re ready to climb out of your skin.” Cecilia smirked. “Do you need help out of these?” she asked with her hands on the waistband of my slacks.

“Yeah.” I lifted my hips and hissed when she dragged her nails down my thighs. “Damn.” I blew out a shaky breath when she fisted me in her little hands.

“It’s so pretty…”

Cecilia lowered her head and let a stream of spit roll out of her mouth and onto the head of my dick.

There was no time to prepare, because the next second, my manhood was touching the back of her throat. I balled the sheet up in my fists, trying my best not to grab the back of her head. It only happened once and resulted in a terrible reaction from her, so I promised it would never happen again.

She was a magician with her mouth because before I knew it, I pushed her off me because the first place I came tonight wouldn’t be her mouth.

“Come here.”

Cecilia climbed up my body and settled hers over mine. It didn’t take long for her to sink down onto me. We both groaned and were still for a moment.

“How is every time you’re inside of me, it feels like the first time all over again?”

“Because this is where you’re supposed to be.”

We started slow, but that wasn’t how my lady liked things.

I gripped her hips and fucked her from the bottom. Cecilia tossed her head back, pinched my sides, and called on God like His name was about to change and she needed to commit it to memory. She came so hard that her body fell forward and shook out of her control. I flipped her over, hiked one leg into the crook of my left arm, and wrapped the right one around her shoulders while her other leg was around my waist.

Cecilia was worried about Boss hearing her, but she should have been concerned about the neighbors that were on either side of me.

“Arrow, please…”

“Please what, baby girl? Hmm? Tell me what you need.”

“Ugh—ooh—gaa.”

I chuckled at her inability to form words and granted her request.

There was no need for me to hear what Cecilia needed. I could feel it. She needed me to fuck her—hard. Baby girl wasn’t into the slow strokes. She needed her breath stolen, and because I was a gentleman, I did just that. I could feel my nut rising, and no matter how much I tried to shake it off… it was coming.

Cecilia came on a scream, and her tightening walls snatched my nut right out of me.

With labored breaths, I said, “He definitely heard us.”

She groaned and tried to push me off her, but the motion only made my manhood wake back up.

“Uhm, no, sir. You lost your chance, opening your big mouth.” Although she rolled her eyes and wore a pout, Cecilia rocked her hips beneath me.

I smirked, pulled back—leaving the tip in—looked into her eyes, and pushed into her with a stroke so slow Cecilia’s body vibrated and arched toward me.

“You sure?”

Instead of offering a verbal answer, Cecilia grabbed the back of my neck and pulled my face close to hers.

The light filtered through the open blinds, and I was pissed.

Normally, Cecilia shut the house down, but last night, I had her preoccupied. Now I was paying the price. I rolled over and reached for Cecilia, but her spot was cool.

I sat up with a start but relaxed when I saw her on the couch across the room, playing with the baby.

“Good morning,” I said to get her attention.

Hendrix heard my voice and went crazy in his mother’s arms.

“How are you so little and such a big traitor?” Cecilia stood and crossed the room.

“Hey, little man!” I kissed his cheeks and set him on the bed next to me.

Before she could walk away, I pulled Cecilia down on the bed so she was laying on top of me.

I needed to get up and get ready for our day, but I wanted a moment where the outside world didn’t exist. After scanning both of them, I realized I was the only one that hadn’t gotten the memo that we were getting up early. I looked at the clock, and it wasn’t early at all. Last night’s session must have done more damage than I thought possible.

Shifting, Cecilia rolled to the side and handed me my ringing cell phone.

“What’s up?”

“Glad to see you’re awake, sleeping beauty. You out all day today, right?”

“Mhm. Taking the boy outside to do some mommy and me shit Cakes put together.” Snoopy laughed. “You need something?”

Snoopy confirmed that it would be a long weekend because we’d gotten in thirty orders overnight.

I was grateful, but my team would be down in the trenches for a little minute because thirty on top of the twenty-six we were currently working on was a lot. However, I would never complain on God’s blessings. The woman, the kid, and the orders were all a sign that favor had fallen over me. I chopped it up with Snoopy for a little bit before hanging up to get ready.

When I got out of bed and headed toward the bathroom, Hendrix threw a fit, so I had to double back and take him with me.

“He is getting too spoiled for his own good.” Cecilia pouted. “Let me get his chair, but I can already tell he isn’t going to want anything but to be in your arms. How do you expect to get ready if you’re holding him?”

“Jealousy don’t look good on you, baby. I’m a resourceful man, so I’ll figure it out.” I smirked, and she stormed from the room to grab his bouncer.

“Whatever.” She huffed.

Laughing, I looked down at Hendrix, and he was looking at himself in the mirror, fully enamored.

I couldn’t use the bathroom with him in my arms, so I went about brushing my teeth. The task was harder than expected because he kept grabbing the end of my toothbrush, then the tongue scraper. When his mother reappeared, I couldn’t have been happier. Cecilia set the seat up, then grabbed him from me, and I went to relieve myself. My bathroom had the toilet separate from the rest of the items, so I was able to close myself in.

Hendrix had started to cry, but some woman with a high-pitched voice came through the speakers in the bathroom, and he settled right on down.

“Not he traded me for some white woman.” I cut the shower on and looked at him and shook my head.

Cecilia laughed and stuck out her tongue.

“Now you know how abandoned I feel. Plus, not too much on her because she’s the world’s best co-parent a woman could have.”

“I hear you talking.” I pecked her lips and stepped into the shower.

I loved the noise that had become my life.

There had never been a problem with the silence I often found myself in, but having Cecilia and Hendrix here brightened my days. While I showered, I thought about what would happen once Gideon was no longer a factor. I didn’t want to believe that once I eliminated this problem for her, Cecilia would be on the first thing smoking out the door, but I had to admit, a little piece of me couldn’t help but wonder.

If anyone asked, I’d pretend not to care too much, but deep down, that woman had a hold on me.

“I was thinking we could go to the mall.”

Although the shower glass had fogged up, I looked up, trying to see her face. Going to the mall meant leaving Rushin Mills. The Rebels had set up this compound to keep outsiders from having access to what was important to us.

“We can do whatever you want, baby, but remember the rules that apply in the Mills don’t apply out there. I’ll protect y’all always, but I can’t control who will be around us.” I stuck my head out so she could see the seriousness on my face.

“I know, but I’m tired of being hidden. You have given me so much peace and freedom, but I want to feel it beyond Rushin Mills. Gideon no longer has a hold on me, and leaving Rushin Mills to go one town over will prove that to me.”

I heard everything she was saying, and although every part of me wanted to say no, I didn’t deny her.

We would spend our time in Rushin Mills, but we would end our day in Waldorf. It wasn’t ideal, but I understood it was something she needed to experience to truly feel like Gideon wasn’t somewhere hiding in the shadows. I finished my shower, and soon after, we were leaving the house. I said a quick prayer that things would go smoothly, and we could be in and out. Hendrix was all smiles, so that gave me hope that today would be a great day.

As expected, the Mommy and Me class was nothing but a bunch of club women that got a kick out of making me look crazy in the name of making a six-month-old little boy happy.

“You know you’re going to pay for this, right?” I said as I helped her into the car after the class.

Cecilia grinned and said, “I have no idea what you’re talking about, sir.”

I thumbed my nose and nodded.

“Mhm. Make sure you keep that same energy for later.”

Cecilia tossed her head back and laughed as I shut the door. I wasn’t embarrassed by anything I’d done, but if any part of that session had been taped, I was burning the building to the ground. We were headed to the mall, so I hoped the smile Cecilia wore remained there until I had her safely in Rushin Mills by the end of the night.
