Chapter 14 #5
By the time the other two had come back, Lee and I already spent most of the morning fucking all over his bedroom.
It wasn’t until I remembered the groceries and stuff that I had to fight my way out of his grip and run downstairs to make sure nothing had gone bad.
But the moment I finished putting away the last of the food and was about to move on to the other stuff, he threw me over his shoulder and carried me back upstairs.
We were showering together, him pressing me up against the tiled wall, kissing me deeply when a loud shout from downstairs snapped us out of our little world.
“Where the fuck are you two? What’s all this crap?” Vail’s voice echoed up the stairs, and I realized he had found the bags of cleaning supplies, pillows, candles, and other little bits I’d purchased but had forgotten to put away.
“Oh shit!” I shut off the water and clambered out, grabbing one of the towels hanging off the door while Lee followed, though he was moving more leisurely than I was.
I felt panicked. Despite knowing that he would never hurt me, Vail’s potential jealous rage was still a terrifying prospect, but Lee seemed as calm as ever, grinning like a cocky bastard and walking with a bit of swagger to his step.
“You can wipe that smug smile off your face any time now,” I demanded, but instead of listening to me, he just wrapped a towel around his waist and reached around me, opening the door just as Vail appeared in the hall, and I froze.
His hazel eyes checked me over, standing there, dripping wet in just a towel, with Lee right behind me. There was no denying that we were just showering together, so I stood there, doing my best to look as chilled as Lee was, but inside, I thought my heart was gonna burst through my chest.
Vail looked to Lee, taking in his current state, then back at me.
He moved towards Lee’s room and peeked inside after smashing the door open.
I bit my lip, knowing that he saw the blankets on the bed in disarray, the papers on his desk scattered on the floor.
Even his record player had been moved over to make room for me as I sat up on the dresser while Lee went down on me, pleasuring me over and over again as he ate me out.
Slowly, Vail turned, and his glare locked on to Lee, fists clenching, and he muttered, “You son of a bitch…” He sounded half-furious and half-impressed, though he seemed more enraged than anything.
“What’s happening?” Shaw’s quiet voice floated up the stairs, and I just wanted to fall in a hole in the floor and die.
I tore away from Lee and disappeared into Vail’s room, hoping to get into a change of clothes before a fight broke out.
I hadn’t thought this through. Honestly, I had no idea what the hell I was feeling.
I loved all my boys. I really did. My relationship with each one was different and unique.
If they were going to tell me I had to choose, well, I’d prefer to be dressed for it.
But Vail chased after me, only to slam the door behind himself.
“Leave,” I told him, opening the drawers and quickly grabbing a pair of sweats and a long sleeve shirt, forgoing a bra and underwear.
“So you guys screwed, huh?” he snapped, his cheeks all red.
“What do you think, Vail?” I answered without looking at him. “You told him to punish me if I didn’t follow your stupid rules, remember?”
“Must have been a pretty big fucking rule to get that type of punishment, darling.” His voice was tight, and I knew he was working hard to remain in control.
I whipped around to face him and threw the towel aside, standing before him completely naked, and I grabbed the black sweats I’d pulled from the drawer, righting them.
His eyes were moving over my body as I did that, and I could see the greedy lust there.
His breathing changed, going from fast and furious to a deeper, heavier sort.
He slowly licked his lips, watching as I stepped into the legs and pulled them up to my waist, tying them off.
“The rule wasn’t specified. But I think Lee taught me a lesson.
” I arched a brow at him, picking up the heather blue shirt.
“So noted. No leaving your guys' sight while we’re out. Got it.”
“You left his sight?” Vail said slowly, his tone shifting. He was pissed off before, but now, his demeanor changed all together as he stared me down like I just told him I was joining a nunnery.
“I was just making a phone call to my friend, Nylah. I stepped outside for like, five minutes. That’s all,” I said as I pulled the shirt on. When I got my arms through the sleeves and pulled it over my head, straightening it around my waist, Vail moved closer, barely half a foot away.
“You… went outside? Alone?” he asked slowly, his face morphing to one void of expression. His mask. Oh shit.
“It was just five minutes, Vail,” I told him, softening my tone. Don’t be snarky with him, Casey. He’s not like Lee. “But I know now. I won’t do that again. I promise.”
He didn’t say anything, nor did he move. He just stares at me, his mouth slightly open, and I hear how quickly his breathing is coming. It’s like he was on the verge of losing it.
“Hey… hey!” I reached out, taking his hand, but it was limp in mine. I squeezed it, holding it before my chest. “I’m sorry. I swear, I didn’t know that was a rule. I know it was stupid, I-”
“You could have been taken.”
“It was just five minutes-”
“You could have been taken, Casey,” he said, spitting out each word between his teeth.
“Five minutes? That’s more than enough time for a van to pull up, two guys to reach out and knab you, and throw you inside and drive away.
And that would be it. Ten seconds, tops.
That’s all it takes for someone to disappear.
” He slowly brought a hand up, cupping one of my cheeks, and I realized he was shaking ever so slightly.
“They could have taken you from me…” he whispered.
“I’m sorry…” I said again. I waited, wondering if he was going to say anything else about Lee and me, but he didn’t.
Instead, he just reached up with his thumb, running it along my lower lip before dragging it down slightly.
Wordlessly, he let me go and picked up the towel from the floor, then ran it over my hair, towel drying it for me, his touch surprisingly gentle.
“Come downstairs and show us all what you got,” he said at last, tossing it in the hamper in the corner. “Cuz I saw what looks like some weird girl shit, a brush as long as my goddamn arm, and I have no idea what to do with it…”
“You mean the new toilet brush? For cleaning, smartass?” I asked, so relieved to have normal Vail back.
“Whatever, I’m starving. You show me what you bought while I eat something.
” He turned and headed toward the door, but just as he opened it, he called over his shoulder before leaving, “And brace yourself, darling. Lee might have had his fun, but you’re still standing.
When I’m through with you, you won’t be able to walk for days. ”
