Ashes Claimed by Ash
Chapter One
Ash, aged twelve
“Dory, get on your fucking knees and worship my cock.”
I frowned with confusion as I watched dad Dory drop down and unfasten dad Gray’s jeans, sliding them down enough to reach for his dick, which was hard and standing up. What were they doing? Dad Dory stroked dad Gray’s dick, and dad Gray groaned, resting a hand on his head. What was… oh!
Dad Dory put it in his mouth! He was moving his mouth up and down, and dad Gray was shuddering and groaning like something was wrong.
Or right. I had no idea, but it was so strange.
I’d seen each of them with mum before, and even seen them both with her, but they weren’t doing this!
They were either side of her in bed, moving around in some kind of frenzy.
I’m not smart like my brother, Blaze, but I still knew it was sex stuff.
I’d seen things on my laptop too, and until a little boy called Teddy tried to arrange to meet up with me, I was allowed to do what I wanted.
For some reason my parents freaked out when I told them I’d met a little boy on the internet, and wanted to hang out with him.
They took my laptop away, had heated arguments, then my dads left the house that night and came back smelling of smoke, meaning they’d gone to burn things.
They didn’t take Blaze, which was strange too, but after that, Teddy didn’t message anymore, and they wouldn’t let me make friends online again.
Anyway, back to my dads. Why are they doing sex things to each other?
Dad Gray was now holding dad Dory’s head and jerking his body at him, and they were both making groany noises.
Was it a good sound? Were they enjoying it?
Why was I so fascinated with what they were doing?
I never felt this way when I saw them with mum.
Dad Gray cursed and held dad Dory’s face against him, demanding for him to ‘swallow it all down’. Swallow what? His dick?
I ran back to my room, feeling confused and too warm, and my breathing was faster than normal. Was I afraid of getting caught? Would my dads be angry about me watching them together? Would they be angrier that I’d watched them with mum?
I snuck into Blaze’s room, and switched on his laptop, opening up the web search box. What should I type there? What would help me understand what I saw, or why it made me feel so weird?
I tried typing ‘man with another man’, and that brought up pictures of men kissing each other, and that made me feel even weirder.
Mum shouted my name at that moment, and I slammed Blaze’s laptop closed, running out into the hall as she reached the top of the stairs.
I couldn’t get caught using Blaze’s stuff. He’d kill me.
“Didn’t you hear me calling you, darling? Lunch is ready.” She frowned at me, and stepped closer, pressing the back of her hand against my forehead. “You look a bit flushed, Ash, do you feel okay?”
Did I? I had no idea, but I didn’t want to tell mum what I saw, or how it made me feel so weird, so I shrugged and pushed her hand away. “I’m okay. Just hungry.”
Ash, aged fifteen
Looking back on that time now, I realised what was happening in that moment.
I was realising just who I was. What I was.
I got off on watching my dads together because that was what I wanted.
No girls at school interested me, but one boy, Callum, made me hard.
Was I afraid to admit to it? I’m gay. It’s not like my family would care.
Clearly my dads were fucking, so they couldn’t say it wasn’t right or normal.
The good news was that my sister, Ember, was keeping them all so busy with her epic freakouts, and her obsession with that snarky stuck up teacher of hers, that they weren’t paying attention to me.
The fact that my parents wouldn’t judge me for being gay meant that I should just ‘come out’ and tell them, right?
That was the great thing about our family.
No behaviour was inappropriate in their minds.
They wouldn’t judge us for anything. I mean, look at Blaze.
He kidnapped and forced himself on his now wife, and they’re happily married.
Seems there’s no real set of rules that apply to all people.
If only I could get Callum to realise that, because he was determined to be what he considered to be ‘normal’, even though there was nothing abnormal about being gay.
Our first proper conversation hadn’t gone the way I’d hoped.
We’d been at the after school football club, because I’d been training with them, while playing for the local teen team.
I wondered if being gay might affect me being allowed to do that.
I mean, it didn’t make me a predator, but some people saw it that way.
Small minded, judgemental assholes. They should all learn from my parents.
“Good footwork out there,” I said to Callum, as we both stripped off after training, ready to hit the showers.
Was I watching him more closely than I should?
Maybe, but I’d been watching him for a while now, and even though I had no experience with anything apart from jerking off, I knew I wanted him.
He shot me a wary glance, his eyes moving down my bare chest briefly, before he caught himself and focused on grabbing things from his locker.
“Yeah, you too. You’re fast.” He had the most intense grey-green eyes, and reddish blonde hair, and a few cute freckles around his nose.
He looked younger than me, when in reality he was a few months older.
I knew this because I’d found out everything I could.
The school secretary never locks her office when she goes to lunch, so a little snooping had found me all I wanted to know.
His age, his address, his medical history.
Fun fact, he’s allergic to almonds, and gluten intolerant. Must be a fun life.
“You trying out for the local team? I’m on it. It’s pretty cool.” Why did I sound so pathetic? Ohhh it’s really cool. Loser.
Callum shrugged. “They play on Sundays, and church is on Sundays, so probably not.” Church? Yikes, he’s one of them. Church people. They frown on all kinds of stuff. Probably my entire family, for a start.
“Not always. Can’t you get out of church for important stuff?”
His eyes narrowed at me. “Church IS important stuff. It’s important to give thanks to the Lord for our…” he trailed off, looking frustrated. “Okay, so I’m not as into it as my family, but I’m a kid, so what choice do I have?”
“You’re still a person, Cal, you get to decide what you like and don’t like.”
“Don’t call me that. It’s Callum. And you don’t know what you’re talking about. Maybe when I’m eighteen I can start making decisions, but they’re pretty strict.” Fucking psychos.
“You could hang out with me at my place. My parents are amazing. They don’t give a shit what I do.” That wasn’t strictly true, but I was proud of how relaxed and supportive they were.
Cal stared warily at me, practically holding his fucking clothes in front of him, like he suddenly needed some layer of protection from me.
“Why?”
I thought I’d been pretty clear, but then, he was ‘church people’ so who knew? They had all kinds of weird ideas, didn’t they? Love only being between two people, and them having opposing genitals. What a fucked up concept. How can love be conditional on external shit like that?
“I dunno. To hang out or whatever. My parents don’t judge or force rules on us, or shit. We can just be who and what we want.” Yeah, even serial killers, looking at you, Blaze. It’s amazing, the stuff our family don’t realise we all fucking know.
“I barely know you, Ash. But what I do know is-”
“Yeah yeah, church people frown upon throuple parenting, gotcha. Maybe if you took your head out of your parents’ asses, you’d see that nothing’s that straightforward, and being a judgemental asshole doesn’t change everyone else to suit your narrow mind.
” Okay. That all came out of nowhere, didn’t it?
His face dropped and he was silent for a moment. Then he started putting his clothes on again.
“I’ll shower at home. I wouldn’t want you to slip on my judgemental mind in the shower, and break something.”
Well, shit.
