Chapter 28 Pandora
PANDORA
As soon as the door closes, I’m on River.
No, scratch that.
I’ve been on him since we got in the car. Blaze kept yapping, something about not distracting him while he was driving by trying to fuck River in the back seat, but that’s not my problem.
“Pandora—” River tries, but I push him in the direction of the bed and grab at his shirt.
“You were so fucking hot,” I say as I pull his shirt up. “I didn’t even know you had it in you.”
I hear Asch and Blaze murmuring something behind me. Probably logistics, like, did somebody bring lube, and whether we should call up for room service, or maybe if they want to join or watch like creepy voyeurs.
Hot voyeurs, actually.
River’s chest is already showing the telltale signs of bruising, but it only makes him hotter.
“Pandora,” he begins again.
My lips find his before he can finish speaking, and my hands run up and down his arms. He winces, but he took more than that from Reaper.
“Hey,” Asch says from nearby. “Let the man breathe a little.”
“No breathing,” I murmur. “You deserve a good fuck.” I press my nose against River’s neck so I can breathe in his scent. There’s the copper of blood, the ashiness from the warehouse, and his own unique scent, amplified by the sweat and exertion.
My cunt throbs in anticipation.
“That blow where you got Reaper in the face,” I say. “He’s going to feel that for days. Carly’s going to be so sad and I’ll be sympathetic but you were so hot, that violent rage unleashed.”
“I think violence is required for street fights,” Blaze says as he puts his hands on my shoulders. “Maybe River can shower first? He’s kind of filth—”
I shake my head and slap Blaze’s arm. “No. It’s hotter like this.”
River chuckles, but the sound is strained. “I could use a few minutes to recover, Pandora. Let me shower or something, then I’ll be down.”
“We’ll keep you company until he’s done,” Asch coaxes, touching my arm. “C’mon.”
I reach up to smear the blood on River’s face. He’d tried to wipe it off in the car, but a streak still remains.
“This is such a good look on you,” I say. “Keep the blood, River.”
“He’s got how many gallons in him?” Blaze says as he wraps his hand around my other arm. “I’m sure you’ll see more of it sometime soon.”
“We can make sure of it,” Asch murmurs.
River looks at him, but he doesn’t protest. Instead, he kisses me again. “Five minutes, Pandora,” he promises. “They’ll make sure you don’t get bored.”
I whine when he pulls away.
It isn’t fair.
Wasn’t he fighting for me?
The college fight was fine, I guess. Very controlled.
Mostly boring.
But the street fight… All that energy in the room, the crowd chanting, the heat of all the bodies, and the raw violence as River and Reaper drew blood. I’d gotten chills.
River disappears into the bathroom, and I turn so I can cling to Asch.
“I’d better get the hardest pounding of my life tonight,” I say to him.
Asch smirks at me. “I think that can be arranged,” he replies, and he leans in to kiss me hard. His fingers tangle in my hair, and he pulls me close to him.
“How long do you think River’s been doing the fights?” Blaze says while he pulls his shirt off. “It explains the bruising, at least.”
“At least a few weeks,” Asch murmurs, his hold loosening on my hair as he strokes it instead. “Fenrir was willing to talk to us about it, for fuck’s sake.”
“Does it matter?” I ask. I reach down to unbutton my jeans.
“I need to find the street fighting scene in New Bristol. It’ll be bigger than this tiny display.
You two should join as well.” I bite my lip as I imagine all of them getting sweaty and pounding the shit out of opponents, the blood and the violence and all that fucking energy.
“Hard pass,” Blaze answers. He runs a finger along my spine, and I shiver with goosebumps.
Then I process what he said.
“What?” I look over my shoulder at him. “You don’t want to do fights? You love violence. You destroyed Tate’s face.”
“Yeah, I like it when I’ve got a reason to do it,” Blaze answers. “If I’m not terrorizing somebody, why bother?”
“I like my teeth where they are,” Asch replies. “Some rules are a good thing.” He glances in the direction of the bathroom. “You do realize that what he’s doing is really fucking dangerous, right?”
He’s killing the mood, not making sure I don’t get bored.
“Everything we do is dangerous,” I growl. “That’s the point. There’s no high if it’s safe.”
“I’m pretty sure your biochemistry exams aren’t dangerous,” Blaze points out. “And you’ve been studying hard for that—”
I shove my elbow into Blaze’s stomach. He grunts but doesn’t back up.
“God, shut up about that. It’ll be dangerous once I’ve learned everything and can cut people up with even more precision.” I can feel my good mood slipping away.
Weren’t we going to do a fun date tonight?
Why are they focusing on not-fun things?
Asch snorts. “Serial killer in training,” he mutters. “Good thing you have Blaze to bail you out of jail.”
“I’m not a serial killer.” I cup Asch’s crotch. “I haven’t killed anyone.”
“Zayden would probably disagree,” Asch retorts. “Oh wait, he can’t, on account of being dead and all.” He pushes against my hand, but he’s still soft in his pants. He turns to face me properly and tugs at my shirt, pulling it over my head and tossing it to the side.
Blaze steps in behind me and undoes the clasp to my bra.
“Huh. You didn’t wear a sexy one this time,” Blaze says as he pulls the simple white bra off.
“You guys kept ripping my nice underwear,” I point out.
It’s an excuse.
I’d thought about it.
Then I’d thought about them, and I’d gotten so mad, and all I wanted to do was scratch their faces off because why the fuck would they invite me on a date after everything they’ve done to me?
I could still do that.
I drag my nail along Asch’s cheek.
He leans into the touch, and it digs harder into his skin. “That’s how it’s gonna be tonight, huh?” he murmurs, grabbing my wrist and twisting it behind my back. “You want to fight?”
“I want to fuck,” I growl.
I also knee Asch in the stomach, and he loosens his grip enough that I can pull my arm free.
Blaze suddenly wraps his arms around me from behind. “You’ll get to fuck, Pandora. I’ll fuck you up so hard, you’ll be seeing stars.”
“The three of you aren’t even undressed yet?” River asks from behind me. “Maybe I should get back in the shower.”
He’s only wearing a towel slung low around his waist, water still dripping from his hair from where he’s only messily toweled it partially dry.
I have a good view of the top half of his body, where he’s obviously taken a pummeling from the discoloration of bruises already beginning to blossom on his chest.
I grin at him and drop my hand down to my crotch, slipping it past my unbuttoned jeans and my simple white panties.
“Blaze and Asch just aren’t as efficient as you are, River,” I say. “So much talking and yapping.”
Asch yanks at the waistband of my pants and underwear together and pulls them down. I let him help me out of them.
Only then does he start to strip, his own muscles as impressive as River’s even though he doesn’t seem to want to use them for anything interesting.
“The one talking all the time is you,” Blaze says. He pinches my ass, making pleasure zing through me. “What are we thinking? Pandora on her back, we take turns?”
“Take turns?” I laugh. “Come on. You’ve got more creativity than that.”
“Yeah, Blaze,” Asch says with a smirk. “Be more creative.”
River approaches me, chest-to-chest as he steps in close. His hand closes around the back of my neck as he urges me in for a deep kiss.
The scents of blood and sweat are gone, replaced with perfumed soap and cheap hotel shampoo.
Sorry. Expensive hotel shampoo.
It’s cloying, awful, fake.
I wrap my arms around River and dig my fingers into his skin while I kiss him back. I bite on his lip and try to find the cut there, the one I’m sure will bleed if I bite or lick enough.
Or I could create a new cut.
I bite down harder.
River lets out a grunt, his fingers tightening in a painful squeeze. He draws back enough to murmur against my lips, “Careful.”
I don’t understand why they’re suddenly acting like a little pain is a bad thing.
Asch presses against me from behind, putting me between the two of them. His cock has started to take interest, half-hard as it rubs against my bare ass.
It’s like at the club, except this time we can fuck properly.
Blaze fills the space to my side, and now I’m completely surrounded by them, trapped in a cage of their arms.
No, not trapped.
I want to be here.
I grin widely and grind my ass against Asch. “So, now you have me at your…”
At their mercy?
What the fuck.
No. I’m the one in charge.
“Let’s get on the bed,” I say instead. “And… you know, River, maybe you should put your mouth to good use. Show everybody what you learned in the past year.”
I’m not sure what to expect. Is he going to tense and refuse again? Or is he going to dive in with gusto like Asch had?
He releases me and takes my hand instead, pulling me toward the bed. “How do you want it?” he asks, and if there are any nerves surrounding the demand, they don’t show.
I follow him to the bed and lie down in the center. I raise my knees and spread my legs, creating a space for him.
“Right there, River.” I motion between my legs. “If you do a good job, maybe I’ll let Blaze or Asch suck you off.”
“Not it,” Blaze says immediately. He lies down next to me. “If he does a good job, it should be your lips on his cock.” He taps my lip with his finger.
I lick it for a second before biting. Blaze grins and slides his finger in deeper.
River gets between my legs, and while he winces as he settles down, he doesn’t back down. He kisses his way up my inner thigh, taking his time.
I’m not sure if he’s stalling or teasing.
Asch sits down next to me, toying with my hair as River finally touches me properly, fingers spreading my cunt wide open so he can get in a good lick along my clit.
