ch 77 blissful night
Aarav's pov
Night had settled deep over the mansion.
My study was lit only by the desk lamp, files open, laptop glowing, yet my mind wasn't on work.
It kept drifting to her my Ashiana
the way she laughed today, the way she hugged Aditya.
Then suddenly
BZZZT.
My phone buzzed.
I glanced at the screen lazily... and then my eyes narrowed.
One glance at the screen and my entire heartbeat tripped.
"Aaraaavv.... its emergency pleaseee quicklly come to terraceeeee..."
her name.
her extra letters.
her panic.
My chair spun back so fast it almost toppled.
"Emergency? Terrace?"
I muttered, already halfway to the door.
A million thoughts rushed through my mind at once
Is she hurt?
Is she crying?
Is she scared?
Did something trigger her?
Did someone come?
Why the hell is she on the terrace alone at night?
My chest tightened with that overprotective instinct I can't switch off.
My jaw clenched.
No. If anyone had dared
I didn't even bother walking.
I ran.
Long strides through the corridor, past the bedrooms, my hand pushing open the terrace door
And I stepped out, breath slightly uneven, eyes scanning sharply for her.
"Ashi?" I called, voice deep, alert.
I moved forward, tension coiled tight in my chest.
Moonlight hit the terrace.
Soft, silver.
She wasn't visible yet.
I pushed open the terrace door with a loud slam.
My heart was already hammering because her message said emergency. Ashiana never texts like that.
"Ashi?"
My voice echoed on the empty terrace.
No one.
My jaw tightened.
My veins stiffened.
Where the hell
Suddenly
A soft touch.
Silk.
A ribbon slipped over my eyes, covering them.
Before instinct could make me grab the intruder,
her warm breath hit my ear...
"Relax... my psycho saiyaaa... there is something big coming for you."
My entire body froze.
Her voice.
Her scent.
Her teasing tone.
I exhaled slowly a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Ashi..."
I muttered, half warning, half melting.
Her fingers curled around my wrist, guiding me forward gently.
Each step I took blindly heightened every sense inside me.
Her touch.
Her small hand dragging mine.
Her bangles softly clinking.
My heartbeat was embarrassingloud and uneven.
What is she planning?
Why do I feel like she has tied my soul in that damn ribbon?
She stopped.
Then her fingers lifted the blindfold.
The silk slid off.
And
My breath simply... stopped.
The terrace was glowing under the night sky.
Candles everywhere,
roses scattered across the floor,
my favourite white lilies forming a path.
A white canopy stood at the centre
lit with fairy lights
inside it soft mattresses,
huge cushions,
and a full spread of my favourite food.
Everything...
every damn detail...
was exactly how I like it.
I couldn't speak.
But then
I saw her.
Standing in front of me...
Wearing a hot red sareethe bold kind, the kind that makes a man forget his own name.
Hair open, blowing in breeze.
Bare waist shimmering.
Necklace resting on her collarbone.
Eyes full of mischief... only for me.
My throat tightened painfully.
"Ashi..."
It came out like a whisper, not a word.
She smiledthe slow, sinful smile that kills me every time.
"Surprise, my Mr. Psycho."
I dragged a hand through my hair, still staring at her like she was unreal.
"You... did all this? For me?"
She walked closer, her saree brushing her ankles, her scent wrapping around me.
"For you, Aarav.
Only you.
Always."
I swear my heart flipped.
My eyes stung a littleshe has no idea what she does to me.
I reached out, took her hand slowly, and pulled her closer.
My voice was low, rough, emotional
"Ashiana... you're going to kill me one day. With this love. With this madness."
She giggled softly.
"Good.
I planned the murder date for tonight."
I pulled her flush into my chest, pressing a slow kiss on her forehead.
"Then I'm ready to die, tie me up with that ribbon again."
She gasped and hit my chest, blushing hard.
And I swear... in that moment under the candlelight, I fell for her even deeper if that was even possible.
then she took me in canope i followed him like a man mady in love
we both sit together
she opened a lid off a plte and in it a beautiful heart shapped cake
I stared at the cake... the heart-shape slightly crooked, the icing a little smudged, the writing tilted like it was trying to run away.
And yet...
My chest tightened.
God.
This woman.
My wife.
My chaos.
My reason.
Ashiana sitting beside me me biting her lip, eyes flickering nervously, twisting her fingers like she was presenting her UPSC result instead of a little messy cake.
'' ooppppsss ... it got more messier now... i made it thinking it will look good but... it got more worse now''
she chuckled nervously
I slowly looked up at her.
She gulped, "Aarav... I told you... it got worse... I think even taste will be—"
I gently held her chin.
Her breath hitched.
"Ashi..."
My voice came out lower, rougher than I expected.
"This is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever made for me."
She blinked, confused.
"Bu.. but it's not perfect—"
I stepped closer, pulling her waist till she bumped into my chest.
"It is perfect."
My thumb brushed a streak of chocolate on the corner of the cake plate.
"Because these fingerprints, this mess, these crooked letters... all of it has you in it."
Her eyes softened, but she still whispered, "Really?"
I let out a slow exhale.
God, I loved this girl.
"You made it with your hands..."
I tapped her nose.
"...and your tiny brain that overthinks everything..."
She swatted my arm.
"Aarav!"
I grinned, then leaned down near her ear, voice low and teasing
"And your stupidly big heart that somehow fits me inside it."
She went still.
Completely red.
I cut a small piece of cake, tasting it.
I stopped.
She panicked, "WHAT?? Is it that bad?? Tell me—"
I grabbed her wrist and tugged her closer, whispering against her lips—
"It's the best thing I've ever tasted."
She froze.
"Because it tastes like home."
Her eyes shimmered instantly.
She whispered brokenly, "Aarav..."
I kissed her forehead.
"Thank you... for this night... for this surprise... for being mine."
ashiana's pov
seeing Aarav's reaction i too eagerly cuts a peice of cake and about to bring my mouth excitidly
Before I could even bring the cake closer to my mouth, Aarav's hand shot forward swift, possessive and he caught my wrist.
"Arav—" I barely managed, but the next second he tugged me, hard, and I toppled straight onto his lap with a gasp.
My hair fell over my shoulder, my saree's pallu slipping dangerously low, and his arm locked around my waist like he'd been waiting the entire night to pull me just like this.
His eyes darkened.
Not soft.
Not teasing.
But that intense, hungry look he only ever showed when it came to me.
oohhh good i love this side of himm... like i just eat him raww
He leaned in, lips brushing my knuckles before he took the cake piece straight from my hand, biting into it without breaking eye contact.
A slow, sinful smirk touched his lips.
"you really think i let you taste it alone... hmmm?" he murmured, voice deep, low, and maddening.
"Aarav... woh—"
I tried to speak, cheeks burning, heart thudding against my ribs—
But he didn't let me finish.
He cupped my jaw with one hand, anchored my waist with the other, and pulled me down completely, capturing my lips in a hot, intense, full-breath-stealing kiss.
I gasped against his mouth, fingers clutching his shoulders as the world melted around us the candles, the roses, the cool night wind.
All of it vanished beneath the heat of his lips and the strength of his hold.
He kissed me slow... then deeper... then harder.
When he finally pulled back just enough to breathe, his forehead rested against mine.
"We'll enjoy the cake together," he whispered, his thumb sliding over my lower lip.
"Every bite... every moment... tonight is ours, Mrs. malhotra."
And before my blush could even settle, he kissed me again this time fiercer, claiming, promising the night was only just beginning.
Aarav's pov
Her fingers were still resting lightly on my jaw from the last kiss she gave me, her warm breath brushing my cheek as she giggled.
God... she looked too adorable when she acted mischievous.
Still sitting on my lap, she shifted a little, picked up the food plate, and scooped a small bite. Then, with that teasing sparkle in her eyes, she lifted her hand to my lips.
I opened my mouth to take the bite, but before I could chew, she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to my left cheek.
"My... Mr. Malhotra," she whispered dramatically.
My heart actually stuttered.
This woman... my wife... she could destroy me with just a tone.
I swallowed the food slowly, eyes fixed on hers.
She giggled again, made another bite, and fed me. As soon as it touched my lips, she kissed my right cheek this time qa loud, playful, warm.
"My handsome Mr. Malhotra..."
I held her waist tighter, pulling her closer without even realising.
"Arshi..." I warned gently.
She ignored it, happily making another bite, her anklets chiming as she adjusted on my lap.
The next bite went into my mouth and she kissed the corner of my lips this time.
A low growl escaped my chest before I could stop it.
She blushed, then pretended innocence.
"What? I'm just appreciating my husband."
I slid a hand behind her back, the other gripping her hip firmly.
"Keep doing that... I dare you," I murmured, my voice darkening.
She smiled wickedly, making another bite slowly, deliberately brushing her fingers against my lips as she fed me... then leaned in and kissed my chin softly.
"My... completely-mine Mr. Malhotra."
This time I didn't wait.
I grabbed her waist in one swift move, toppled her gently back onto the soft cushions, hovering over her as her breath caught.
Her laugh died.
Her lips parted.
Her eyes shivered with anticipation.
"Ara—rav..." she whispered.
I leaned down, brushing my lips just a breath away from hers.
"You keep teasing me like this..." I murmured, "...and I'll forget every plan you made for tonight."
She blushed so hard her ears turned pink.
Her fingers curled in my shirt.
"Maybe that's exactly what I want..."
And just like that I sealed my lips on hers, tasting the sweetness of her kisses mixed with cake and all the love she poured into this night.
The candlelight flickered around us, the roses swaying gently, and the world blurred until it was only
Aarav Arshi.
Completely, entirely, hopelessly in love.
