CHAPTER 10

KATHERINE

I open my eyes when I feel the bed move and find Arrow crawling back into the bed with me.

“Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep on you. How long have I been out?” I ask, as Arrow lies down, pulling me into his arms.

“A couple of hours. I figured you needed sleep, so I went downstairs to check on how everything was going,” he says.

I sense something is wrong. So, wrapping my arms around him, I snuggle into him, saying without words that I'm here for him.

“With the guys from Whiskey River showing up, I can take you back home to Denver. If you want to go, now would be a good time. Everything is quiet. That way, I can make sure you get there safely,” he says, his voice guarded.

My heart sinks. How did I screw this up already? I thought going to him with what I had heard about Shooter was the right thing to do.

“What made you change your mind about us?” I ask as I try to pull away from him. He tightens his arm around me, and doesn't let me move.

“I have not and will not change my mind about us. I figured maybe you had after you saw everything that happened today. This isn't exactly what I pictured a sweet girl like you wanting to be a part of,” he says, staring up at the ceiling.

Sitting up, I look at him, forcing his eyes to meet mine.

“I want to be here with you. I have no desire to go back to Denver, and moving home with my parents was never an option. That's not home. This feels more like home than any place I've ever lived.” I’ve been as honest as I can, and I don’t know what else I could possibly say to make him understand that this is where I want to be.

His face shifts and fills with love and awe as he reaches for me and pulls me in for a kiss. It’s desperate and passionate.

“I want you here with me, always. I want to move your stuff in with mine and not let you leave,” he says, kissing me again.

“Yeah? That’s not moving too fast?” I ask hesitantly.

“Who cares? Ask any of the guys and girls here. When they knew, they knew. No one here will judge you,” he says.

I hesitate, thinking about Bridget and Penny, and it’s as if he can read my mind.

“If your friends are your friends, they will be happy for you. From the sounds of it, they are a big part of you being here and I am so grateful for that,” he says.

“If you’re sure…” I start.

“Positive. I’ll get a few guys to help me move all your stuff this week,” he says.

“I’d like that. I want to be here,” I tell him as I settle back into his arms.

Arrow wastes no time in getting my stuff moved up to Mustang Mountain. As in, he had people in Denver the next day. Penny and Bridget have been nothing but supportive, and Arrow promised once things with Savage Bones are under control, he will bring them up for a girls’ week and send us to the spa for the works. For now, he makes sure to set me up so we can video call every few days and catch up. When I called my parents and gave them my new address, there were very few questions asked.

Arrow made it clear not to get too comfortable at the Clubhouse, that we’ll just be here until things settle with Savage Bones. Eventually, we will be moving into his cabin full time. He took me out there a few days ago and showed me around so I could start making plans. He also said he couldn’t wait to christen our bed.

Today, he has me on the back of his bike but won’t tell me where he’s taking me. All he says is that it’s a surprise. After driving a little less than an hour, the sign comes into view: Welcome to Glacier National Park .

“Are you kidding me?” I squeal as Arrow pulls over near the sign so we can take photos.

“I promised I’d bring you,” he says, smiling.

All I can do is stare at the park sign in awe.

We get off the bike and take about a million photos, and he is patient and happy to pose with me all I want.

Once back on his bike, we drive into the park, and I take it all in. I don’t want to blink and miss a second of it. Like Arrow can read my mind, we end up on Going to the Sun Road, and the views have my jaw dropping. Massive mountain views, mountain lakes, glaciers, and even some wildlife sightings. Incredible.

He pulls off down a narrow dirt path and stops at an overlook with one of the most beautiful vistas I’ve ever seen.

“Stumbled upon this place one time when the club came out for a ride and stopped for lunch,” he says, reading my mind as he helps me off the bike.

He pulls me in for a kiss that turns passionate fast. Then, in the blink of an eye, he spins me around and pushes my chest gently to his bike seat.

“I need you, Kitty Kat. Having you pressed up to me the whole drive, your hand wandering over my skin, has me as hard as steel the whole way here,” he says.

Then he unbuttons my jeans and pulls them down to my ankles. He runs his hand up my thighs to my core, and the slightest touch feels so good I couldn’t stop the moan that comes out of my mouth if I tried.

“Fuck, you are soaked. You’re just as turned on as I am. This is one of the many reasons I am head over heels in love with you,” he says.

I freeze. “You love me?” I ask, sure I didn’t hear him right.

“I love you more than anything in this world,” he says, running his fingers through my folds.

“I love you too,” I say, trying to spread my legs.

His hands leave my body, and the rustling of clothes fills the air behind me before the thick head of his cock runs through my drenched folds.

“Hold on tight, Kitty Kat,” he says as he thrusts into me, filling me all at once.

We both groan, finally reconnected in a way that we have been craving all morning.

“You are always so tight, baby. Fuck, you feel so good,” he says, as he sets a steady pace, fucking me over his bike.

“Oh, this feels incredible,” I say, closing my eyes.

“Open your eyes and look at the view. Every time you think of Glacier National Park, I want you to think of me inside of you like this,” he growls.

Obediently, I open my eyes, and the view is seared into my mind. Then he leans over me, pressing me into his bike and says, “Marry me, Kitty Kat. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and give you everything you have ever wanted, including unlimited orgasms. Marry me,” he repeats while keeping a steady pace, but managing to keep my orgasm just out of reach.

My heart races in my chest as I struggle to catch my breath, and tears stream down my face. "Yes! Yes, I will marry you." I sob uncontrollably, overwhelmed with emotion.

He changes his position enough that he hits that spot inside of me he knows drives me crazy.

The new angle causes my clit to hit the leather seat and provides just enough friction that I come hard. Holding on to the bike for dear life, my orgasm pulses and throbs until I feel his own release inside me.

The weight of his forehead rests heavily on the center of my shoulder blades as we both try to catch our breath. My body tingles with satisfaction, and I can feel his chest rise and fall against my back.

"That was incredible," he gasps out, still shuddering from the intensity of our lovemaking. His words make me smile and I turn around in his arms, my heart overflowing with love for this man.

"I swear I only brought you here for lunch and to propose," he continues, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "But then things got a little... carried away."

He pulls out of me, then helps me get cleaned up before dressing himself.

When I turn around, he stands before me with a small box in his hand. My heart skips a beat as I realize what it could be. Inside is the most stunning ring I have ever seen, catching the light in countless sparkling facets. He takes my hand and slides the ring onto my finger, and it fits perfectly, as if it was meant to be there all along. We both gaze at it in awe for a moment, lost in the beauty of this symbol of our love.

It's right then that I truly understand why my friends insisted on dragging me to Sturgis. It brought me to this amazing man who has given me happiness beyond measure. As we stand there, hand in hand, I know I am exactly where I am meant to be.
