Chapter 26
W e p u l l e d u p to my man’s lounge, Lit Vibez, in two separate cars.
I valeted the truck and opened the passenger door for Autumn.
She stepped out, and I swear the streetlights flickered just for her.
Skin glistening. And that black dress she wore had her ass poking.
Legs on display. Hips switching like she was born to tempt.
I slid my eyes up from her heels to her lips and locked in on that smirk she gave me like she knew what she was doing. I knew she did.
Taj was loud as hell behind us. “This shit lit already! Oh, this the vibe we on tonight?”
One of her lil’ red bone, ratchet friends pulled up too. Ty met us at the door with Dray, daps already in motion. “What’s good, bro? Long time no see. I hear you doin’ your thing out in Cali.” Dray said, looking all proud and shit. We went back to middle school days.
“You know that,” I kept it cool, wrapping my arms around Autumn’s waist. “Autumn… Dray.”
“Nice to meet you,” she lightly smiled, and he nodded respectfully.
“Damn. Woods really on his cuffin’ shit.” Ty laughed, tilting his his head toward Autumn.
“Ty, shut up,” she snapped, rolling her eyes.
“Chill,” I said, brushing him off with a dap and a look.
Inside, the lounge was dark velvet and neon, exactly how my boy Deshawn wanted it.
The lighting was moody with thick bass rolling low, and booths lined with bottles already waiting.
He greeted us and led us toward a section near the back with Autumn tucked next to me.
We popped the tequila bottles and poured up with Autumn taking her shot first like a G and sucking on a lime like…
“You good?” she asked, smirking like she already knew where my thoughts were.
I played it off, though, taking my shot and pouring another. Everybody else was in their zone. Leaning closer to Autumn, I muttered, “This wasn’t supposed to be a whole crew. I really just wanted to be wit’ you.”
She climbed into my lap, perfume hitting my nose. She smelled good as fuck. “I know, but it’s cool. We’re all here now. Don’t ruin it by being moody.”
“You gon’ fix it?”
“I might.”
Just then, some random nigga leaned over the VIP ropes and attempted to speak to Autumn. I leaned in too. “She's good,” I said flatly.
He blinked like he wasn’t expecting it. “Damn, I was just—”
“I said she’s good.”
As he walked off, she gave me a side glance and bit her lip to hide the smirk. “You usually this territorial?” she asked, eyes glittering.
“Nah. Just wit’ what’s mine.”
She sipped her drink slowly and whispered in my ear. “And what exactly do you think I am?”
My hands made their way to her throat, and I pulled her closer to my face. “Workin’ on makin’ it clear.” Licking her bottom lip, I sucked on it and she moaned a lil bit as she squirmed in my lap.
Ty caught it all and grinned across the table. “Y’all need a room or a round of drinks?”
Taj rolled her eyes. “They need both. Cuzzo clearly got that on lock.”
Autumn laughed, her eyes never leaving mine. “On lock, huh?”
I kissed her lips. “Only if you hand me the key.” I was making my intentions clear, and I didn’t care who noticed that shit.
The bass dropped on a track, and Taj dragged her friend to the dance floor.
Ty and Dray followed close behind them, leaving me and Autumn to fall into our own little bubble again.
She asked. “Why you looking like you’re plotting again?
” she asked, her voice syrupy now from the liquor.
Tequila had her eyes a little heavier, her smile a little slower, and her vibe even smoother than usual.
I sparked up a blunt and inhaled deeply. “’Cause I am,” I said, smoke curling as I exhaled. “I’m thinkin’ ’bout gettin’ you outta this dress.”
“You already had me naked.”
“Wasn’t enough.”
She pulled back slightly, eyes flicking to the dance floor. “Come dance with me.”
I hit the blunt a few more times, letting the weed hit me before I put it out. Then, I shrugged. “Fuck it. Let’s go.”
We hit the floor just as the DJ slowed the beat, dropping into a mashup of Rock the Boat and some dirty trap drums. The lights dimmed, and all you could see was skin, teeth, and hips moving.
Autumn turned around and backed into me, looking over her shoulder like she knew what she was doing.
Ass on me, swaying with intention, eyes locked on mine like she wanted to test how far I’d let this go in public.
My hand slid around her waist, the other on her thigh, guiding her into me.
Every move was locked in. Synchronized. Heated.
Folks was around, but it felt like just us.
“You tryna start somethin’?” I said low in her ear.
She leaned back against my chest, arms wrapping around mine. “Maybe I am.”
She wasn’t just dancing. She was breathing on me and pulling me deeper into that zone we always ended up in. And I wasn’t mad at it. I dipped down with her, slid my hands over her hips, my mouth barely grazing her shoulder as she rocked slowly, teasing me on purpose.
Her voice dropped. “Are you gonna kiss me or keep pretending like you’re not thinking about it?”
I turned her around with no hesitation and tongues bed down her right there in the middle of the floor.
She didn’t flinch or pull away. She kissed me back like she was ready for whatever came after.
Then, she grabbed my hand without saying a word and started weaving through the crowd like she had a destination in mind.
She didn’t look back, and she didn’t have to.
I already knew exactly where we was going.
I followed, steady and close, palm locked with hers while we cut through bodies, music, and lights. That smirk was playing on my lips the whole time. Autumn had me on ten the whole night.
We hit the hallway near the restrooms, past the velvet roped-off VIP exit, and she slipped us right through a door like she’d done it before.
It led to a small, low lit staff corridor that was quiet, warm, and tucked away from all the noise.
As soon as the door clicked behind us, I had her up against the wall.
The bass from the club was just a muffled thump in the background now.
All I could feel was her hands and her breath on my neck when she moaned low and whispered, “You got ten minutes to make me cum.”
I chuckled, biting her bottom lip as I lifted her higher. “I only need three to make you scream, gorgeous.”
