It’s So Over
Kelly Evers and Xander Lang sing surprising duet in Belfast
Exclusive Details
It was the gasp heard around the world when Kelly Evers was announced to be the opening act for the Tin Gods European leg of their Corruption World Tour. Headlines everywhere speculated that it was a sign the two had renewed their rocky relationship. Fans bemoaned the rollercoaster ride to come.
To fill in the history for those who were asleep the past decade—Kelly Evers signed on with Stolly Records at the same time as the Tin Gods, and soon Evers and guitarist Xander Lang were seen together all over LA and all over each other. For the next decade, they were on and off. A website—EverLangAfter.com—was actually dedicated to tracking whether the two were currently an item or not. Cheating allegations followed Evers when photos of her and basketball player Russell Griffey were seen around town being more than friendly. And rumors of a sex addiction have dogged Lang’s heels for years. Once Evers very famously broke up with Lang over a thirty second phone call. And Lang broke up with Evers years later when he proclaimed himself to be single on a talk show which, judging by Evers’ social media rant later that day, had been a surprise to her. Their last breakup was a much photographed screaming match in the lobby of the Chateau Vittore in Hollywood.
But we now have the answer about the current status of Evers and Lang. And I think it’s safe to say these two are never, ever getting back together.

As seen all over social media, Lang and Evers sang a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘ Go Your Own Way ,’ the epic breakup anthem written and performed by another tumultuous rock couple. In fact, the Fleetwood Mac song has entered the top 100 chart for the first time in decades.
But this news shouldn’t be a surprise for most of Evers’ fans as she announced her engagement to manager Jay Wazowski back in January. Meanwhile, Lang has been seen cozying up to a so far unnamed blonde in Belfast.
Of course if anything changes on either front, we’ll be the first to report it.
Stay tuned …
