Chapter 39 Charlotte
Charlotte
I dragged the heavy white train behind me and stepped out of the bedroom in my wedding dress.
Cole was sitting on the couch, dressed in a smart suit for dinner.
His dark hair was still damp from the shower.
I held out my arms, feeling self-conscious.
Maybe this had been a silly idea. “You said you wanted me in the wedding dress.”
Pocketing his phone, Cole swallowed and sat upright. His gaze raked over me boldly. “Jesus. Look at you.”
Heat seared my cheeks as I fumbled with the seam at the back of the dress. “I can’t reach the buttons at the back. It’s not on properly.”
“I wouldn’t worry. It’s not staying on for long.” He stood and beckoned me with a finger. His voice was rough. “Come here.”
I dragged the train behind me and planted myself in front of him.
“The most beautiful bride in the world,” he said, lifting the veil away from my face.
My hair was still wet at the ends, and my face scrubbed after a bath. “I looked better on the wedding day with the makeup.”
“No, you’ve never looked more perfect.” He caught my hands and held them in his. “Just as you are.”
With one hand around my waist, he pulled me to his hard chest. He kissed me as if he’d never stop. Worshipfully, he undressed me, stroking my body, whispering his praise against my thighs as he tugged my stockings down.
“Do you know how addicted I am to your body?” Dropping to his knees, he swirled his tongue around my belly button. “I love it.” He planted kisses on my stomach. “Every inch. I can’t get enough. Spread your legs for me.”
I stood bare and vulnerable. He hadn’t taken off a single layer of clothing, but that only made it hotter. I did as he commanded. “I’m sure you’ve seen better?”
“Never. Not possible.”
Pleasure jerked through me when he buried his face between my thighs. His hot licking and probing made me senseless. I rocked against him, raking my hands through his soft hair, savoring every minute. He rose and pushed my breasts together, taking both nipples into his mouth.
With trembling hands, I unbuttoned his shirt.
He helped me to pull it off, along with his trousers and boxers.
Then we were all over each other. He touched me like he didn’t want to leave any part of me unexplored.
Electricity sparked with every stroke of his hands.
Lifting me into his arms, he laid me gently on the bed.
He covered me with his body, his erection pressing hard against my thigh.
“Condom. Don’t move,” he whispered against my ear.
No, I wanted to feel every hot, hard inch of him. “Or not?”
He raised an eyebrow.
“I’m on the Pill. It’s to help my migraines. Hormones are a trigger.”
He bit his lower lip. “I’ve never had sex without a condom.”
I stroked the firm planes of his back. “I trust you. If you trust me?”
He gazed into my eyes with a serious expression and nodded. I reached between us, grabbed his thick cock, and guided him to the aching heat between my thighs. We both moaned as he seated himself slowly.
“Fuck.” He buried his face in my neck. “Fuck!”
I pushed my hips against his, encouraging him to move, but he held perfectly still. “Something wrong?”
He spoke through gritted teeth. “Feels too good.”
“Stop?”
He groaned and dropped his head onto my chest. “Give me a moment.”
My core ached with the fullness. I clenched around his cock, squeezing him. He’d teased me so mercilessly before. Fun to get my own back for all the times he’d made me beg for him.
“Please,” he whimpered. “Don’t do that.”
A chuckle escaped me. “You’re going to have to move at some point.”
He drew back and pushed into me slowly. His elbows trembled next to my head, and his shaking hand gripped the sheet. I ground my hips underneath him, rocking against him.
“Fuck.” He sucked in a harsh breath. “Please. This isn’t going to last long if you move like that.”
I wrapped my legs up high and hooked my ankles around his back. “It makes a change to hear you begging me. I have you at my mercy for once.”
“That’s not a change. You’ve always had me at your mercy.”
He pressed his forehead to mine, and his warm breath fanned my face. I squeezed him and rolled my hips. He fought for control, before his face scrunched and he moaned. I felt him pulsing and spurting as he found his release deep inside of me.
“You’re wicked.” He collapsed and pressed a kiss to my temple. “I’ll make it up to you.”
“No one’s keeping score. We already have a serious orgasm deficit. I owe you.”
His brooding gaze met mine, and he pulled me protectively into his arms. We held each other, breathing heavily.
“You owe me nothing. I love giving you orgasms. It’s my favorite pastime,” he said.
“I thought work was your only pastime. Mr. Big Shot CEO has a hobby?”
“Yes, it’s making you scream my name.” His expert fingers slipped between my thighs, and he pushed his wetness leaking from me back up inside. “Mine,” he whispered against my throat.
His fingers found my swollen clit, and pleasure sparked at my core as he rubbed. I pressed my face into the damp hollow of his neck, smothering my moans against his cool skin. My harsh gasps punctuated the stillness.
“I always dreamed about this. I dreamed about the two of us together. Me and you,” he whispered.
His soft kisses on my cheeks were enough to undo me.
Pleasure sparked at my core, and my spine arched off the bed.
I was already so high today. High on the beauty and the quiet revelations in my heart, but Cole pushed me higher.
All that mattered was this moment together.
No past. No future. I fell apart, chanting his name as he kissed every scrap of skin on my throat, my shoulders, and my breasts.
When he’d wrung every drop of pleasure from me, I rested my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
I always dreamed of this, too.
