Chapter 7 - LEXIE
LEXIE
“Dan the Man, I’ve been looking for you.”
I looked up at the sound of a woman’s voice.
She had a gorgeous mane of red curly hair flowing down her back, and her outfit left little to the imagination.
The Exiled Reapers’ crop top was so short I could see the bottom arc of her fake round breasts.
But good for her. If I had that much extra cash, I’d buy a new mattress, but that was the beauty of being an adult. We could decide how we spent our money.
“Hey Sheila,” Dan called to her. “Have you met Lexie? She’s the caterer for today’s party.”
She turned to me and narrowed her eyes. “So you’re the reason the bunnies had the afternoon free instead of having to prepare all the damn food?”
My eyes darted to Dan, but he didn’t seem concerned.
“I guess?” I shrugged, looking around at the mountain of veggies I’d been chopping.
“Well, that makes you my new best friend. I get that this is part of the gig”—she looked around the kitchen with an air of disgust—“but I hate all this domestic shit. My skills lie in one very specific area.” She bit the bottom of her lip and stared at Dan hard enough I had to fan myself.
“I think I’d better check on the bar situation.” He jogged out of the kitchen and Sheila sighed.
“I was sent in here to ask if you needed any help. The bunnies and I are at your service.” She gave a mock bow and winked. “You got anything that needs… servicing?”
My face heated, and I knew I was about to enter into a full-body blush.
There must be something in the air in this place that exuded sexual energy.
I’d like to say I was still a virgin at twenty-two because of some romantic dream to wait for the one, but the truth was, I’d never had the opportunity.
When I was in foster homes, I moved too much to get attached.
Since graduating high school, I’d been focused on working to pay my bills and finishing my classes.
Last year, I tried one of those apps, but after nothing but dick pics, I gave up.
But I had a feeling if I hung around this place much longer, I’d find plenty of opportunities.
“Sheila, don’t scare the girl now. Can’t you tell she’s an innocent?
” Another scantily clad woman joined us in the kitchen.
She had straight black, shoulder-length hair and incredibly long eyelashes.
Her bright red lips pursed as she placed her hands on her hips.
“I bet she’s a little pillow princess. Just laying back and waiting for a man to rut all over her.
That’s if she doesn’t run out screaming when she sees the size of his cock. ”
Sheila laughed. “Oh Kayla, like you didn’t run for the hills the first time Mav pulled out his dick.”
Kayla pouted. “I was on a bad trip that night and you know it. I thought that thing had tentacles.”
Sheila howled with laughter.
I didn’t think it was possible, but my face heated even more. I didn’t know what alternate universe I’d dropped into, but this was getting to be too much. “Well, I’m here to make the food, so I won’t need to worry about any of that other stuff.”
Kayla nodded. “And don’t you fucking forget it.”
“Right, well anyway,” I said, ready to steer the conversation in another direction. “If you ladies would like to help, that table has all the appetizers. One of you can take those out and the other can help me finish chopping since Dan disappeared.”
“I’ll take the food,” Kayla announced before Sheila had a chance. She grabbed the first tray and left the kitchen.
“Don’t pay her any attention.” Sheila picked up an onion and handed it to me. “She’s like a dog pissing on her territory. But not one of those big scary dogs that can actually do something. More like a yappy one that makes a lot of noise and gets on your nerves.”
“Right, I’ll keep that in mind.” With a small smile, I turned back to focus on my work.
“So you live here? What’s that like?” I asked.
She wasn’t exactly helping, just handing me vegetables, but maybe she could help me understand the dynamics of the club.
The more I knew, the better I could pitch my services when the time came.
“Heaven.”
“Wow, really?” I glanced up from my chopping. “I mean, what is there to do besides…” Yeah, probably better I stopped there.
Sheila chuckled and grabbed some toothpicks.
She stabbed the pineapples and started rearranging the fruit tray.
“Club bunnies stay at the clubhouse with free room and board. There are five of us here, which is like one bunny for every five bikers. That is heaven. Although not all the guys take advantage of our services, unfortunately. So maybe it’s a little less than that, but still a great ratio.
Anyway, we do some cooking and cleaning.
Probably should do more, but we all hate that part.
There’s a chart, we take turns.“ Her smile grew and she looked back at me. “The reason you’re my new best friend is because it was my turn to cook tonight. Cookouts are the hardest because there are so many people. Especially when they invite other clubs.” She bit her lip again as her eyes glazed over.
“But those nights are also the best, so it works out. Anyway, nobody wants to be stuck in the kitchen when there’s all those men to fuck. ”
I dropped the knife in my hand. “I’m sorry, what?” I mean I knew what bunnies were doing, but her bluntness wasn’t something I was used to.
“I said, nobody wants to be stuck in the kitchen when there’s all those men to fuck.
Except you, I guess.” She shrugged as she put the finishing touches on her fruit sculpture.
The pineapples were gathered into two large circles.
She’d placed the blueberries in a pile in the middle of each and outlined the whole thing with strawberries.
It wasn’t what I would have done, but it was…
nice. If you liked your fruit shaped like a pair of titties.
“Is that on the chore chart, too?”
“What, fucking?” Her laughter echoed through the kitchen. “Oh, you are funny. Wouldn’t that be something? We could earn stickers for fucking. I wonder who would get the most?” Her eyes scrunched as she thought. “Would you earn one per fuck or would it be per guy?”
I giggled. “Good question. And what about threesomes? Would that earn two stickers?”
Sheila scratched her head. “It should, I think. Two cocks is two cocks, whether you take them at the same time or twenty minutes apart. But if it’s two girls and a guy…”
I took a deep breath. I thought I was holding my own, but this conversation was out of my league.
I was dying to ask her more about the guys, or rather, about one guy in particular and if he was one of the ones that didn’t partake.
But I couldn’t think of a way to bring him up without being obvious.
“I leave for ten minutes and you have my babysitter completely corrupted. I should have known better, Sheila.” Dan walked back into the kitchen and stood next to me.
“Oh Dan, come on.” Sheila rolled her eyes. “She’s at an MC clubhouse. I’m hardly the worst thing that will happen to her tonight.”
“It’s okay, Lexie, I’ll keep an eye on you.” He wrapped an arm around my shoulder.
Sheila huffed. “Don’t let this one fool you. He may look all young and sweet, but he can lay pipe as good as any of them. In fact, he’s had me screaming Oh Danny Boy many, many nights.”
He leaned over and lowered his voice a few octaves. “If you’re a good girl and help take the rest of the appetizers out, I’ll make sure you scream it tonight, too.”
“You promise?” Her eyes widened.
I stepped away from Dan’s arm, thoroughly grossed out by my former neighbor’s grown-up antics. To me, he’d always be the teenage kid with the cracking voice.
He walked up to her and kissed her hard. I knew I shouldn’t watch, but damn. I’d never seen anybody kiss like this in person. He held one hand behind her head in a possessive hold while his other hand slid up her skirt.
I cleared my throat, and when that didn’t stop them, I threw a celery stalk at Dan’s head.
“I think we’re pretty much all done for now. If we’re going to stay on time, I’ll need help getting everything out. I’d hate to be late and lose out on any future cookouts.”
“Oh, shit!” Sheila pushed Dan away and grabbed a tray. “No way we’re losing you. I’ll send a couple other bunnies your way. We’ll have everything set up in no time.” She raced out the door.
“This is amazing, Lexie.” Dan wiped his mouth as he looked at all the food. “You should be proud. You know, I always thought you’d end up as a teacher. All the parents loved you.”
I shook my head and passed him a bottle of hand sanitizer.
“Nah, I had my fill of kids when I was a teenager. But I did keep up most of my first aid certifications, which helped me land an internship over at the senior living center, so it worked out. But what about you and Sheila? Are you two a thing?”
Dan laughed. “Me and Sheila? Hell no. She’s a bunny. You don’t date bunnies.”
“So she’s good enough to sleep with, but not to go out with? That’s awfully shallow, Daniel.”
He rolled his eyes. “That’s club life, Lex.
The bunnies know the deal from the start and they can leave anytime.
No one is kept against their will. The guys like having access to easy pussy with no strings attached.
The girls like having good dick on tap and free rent.
It’s win-win. As long as the girls don’t get too clingy or try to trap a guy. Obviously.”
“But what if one of them got pregnant? With all this sex, it’s bound to happen.” I held my breath, waiting for his reply.
His nose scrunched. “Pregnant? Nah, that never happens. We always glove up and I’m sure all the girls are on some kind of birth control.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Abstinence is the only 100% method.”
