O lani danced around Elion with a laugh as she continued to run away from him.
They were on the third day of their trip and decided to have fun on the beach.
They’d gotten dressed in beachwear, and the first thing on the agenda had been to build some beach sculptures.
She’d made the standard bucket castle using a few shells she’d found along the waterline to decorate it.
He had been molding what looked like a little neighborhood.
When he’d gone to get more water and returned, he’d ruined her basic little castle.
He hadn’t meant to. The handle on the bucket he was carrying the water in broke and wasted not only on her castle but his neighborhood as well.
She’d feigned irritation and picked up some sand, throwing it at his chest. She couldn’t hold her laughter and barely got to her feet as he lunged playfully at her.
Now, he was chasing her in circles along the water’s edge as it swept in and out.
Olani had been doing a great job of dodging him, and she couldn’t stop laughing.
Finally, when she faked left but went right, he didn’t fall for it.
Elion grabbed her around the waist and spun her around, pulling more laughter from her.
When he placed her on her feet, she turned in his arms, wrapping hers around his neck as she smiled at him.
“That gorgeous smile,” he stated, before dropping a kiss on her lips. “Should we try to resurrect your castle?”
She shook her head. “No, I don’t think there’s any saving it. We can play with the frisbee instead if you want.”
“I’ve told you before we can do whatever you want to, Sweetheart. At this point, I think you like to hear me say it,” he teased her.
“That might be true,” she teased back.
He released her, and Olani grabbed the frisbee out of the bag with a few other things they’d gotten at the shop near their hut.
She put some distance between them before flinging the frisbee in his direction.
She wasn’t worried about them disturbing someone since they were behind their hut, and the one beside them wasn’t occupied.
She’d learned that the section of the beach on which the four huts were built was private.
Elion sent the frisbee back to her, and Olani reached out and caught it, doing a dramatic spin for effect, which caused him to laugh.
They continued tossing it back and forth, and the wind picked up after several minutes on a toss back to her.
The wind sent the frisbee array, and it landed on the sloped section of the roof of their hut.
“Crap,” she mumbled as she walked over to look up at it. “Eek!”
She was caught by surprise as he bent, his head slipping through her legs. She reached for his hands as a reflex while he stood, her atop his shoulders.
“You scared me,” she stated once steady.
“Relax, Sweetheart. I’d never let you fall. Can you reach it?”
She let go of one of his hands and reached toward the frisbee. He had to take another step forward, and she had to lift off his shoulders some, but she could grab it. He put her down, and she turned to him, handing him the frisbee.
“What were you going to do if I’d wiggled around and fallen?”
Elion gripped her chin. “I told you I wasn’t going to let that happen.” His eyes studied hers briefly, and then he shook his head. “I apologize. You don’t like heights.”
“It’s not like you’re twenty feet tall. It was just sudden. A little warning next time.”
He ran his knuckle along her cheek. “Of course, baby. Should we keep playing?”
“Yes, for a bit. Then we can find some lunch.”
They returned to playing their game, and after another ten minutes, the wind took it again.
This time towards the water. He grabbed it before it could be taken out to sea, and the two went to the spout outside to rinse the sand from their feet.
He put a shirt on, and Olani decided she would go in the kimono that covered her bathing suit since it wasn’t see-through.
They slipped their shoes on and were out the door.
They made the walk to the area they’d gone to the day they arrived hand in hand.
This time, they were trying a different stand.
There were a few to choose from, and they decided on a stand selling yaroas.
She ordered hers with pork, and Elion ordered his with chicken.
They both got fresh coconut water, and once they had their food, they walked back to the hut instead of finding a table nearby.
Once back at the hut, they sat on the couch, and he turned the television on.
They’d started a show together on their second night there and decided to watch two episodes daily.
That way, it wouldn’t take too much from their plans, but they’d also be able to finish it together before the trip ended, since there were only ten episodes.
They were a few minutes into the show when Olani asked if she could try Elion’s yaroas.
She’d had the dish a couple of times, but only ever with pork.
His tasted good, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned, but she’d still choose the pork.
She offered him some of hers, and he told her to remind him they needed to return so he could get that one before they left.
The show’s next episode started when they had finished eating, and he wrapped his arm around her.
She leaned into his side, laying her head on his shoulder and getting comfortable.
They were going to see a show on the beach that night after dinner.
He hadn’t told her what it was, but she was excited to see it.
E lion walked hand in hand with Olani as they approached the beach show.
The number of people did not surprise him.
Music played while dancers performed, and an enormous bonfire illuminated the area.
They could get close to the front of the crowd watching, and he pulled her to stand in front of him.
She leaned back into his chest, and he placed his hands on her waist.
They watched the dancers through two songs, and at some point, she began to sway against him, and he moved with her.
When the dancers finished their performance, a fire twirler stepped to the center, and Elion took a couple of steps back, moving Olani from in front of him to beside him.
He knew the performer was a professional, but he wasn’t willing to take any risks.
He’d been to a fire twirler show where they’d lost control of the baton, and it went flying into the crowd, burning two people in the audience.
She leaned into his side as they watched with the other people in attendance. Several tosses of the baton caused some in the crowd to gasp and then clap when it was caught. After a couple of minutes, another two batons were lit, and the performer juggled them.
They watched several other performances for over an hour and a half before it wound down. It was just after ten, and they walked down the beach back the way they’d come.
“The artist you chose to share your exhibit with. What paintings do you think they’ll create?” Olani asked as they strolled along.
“I’m not sure, baby. I told them the theme of my exhibit, but I made it clear they weren’t required to center on that.”
“I can’t wait to see it.”
When they’d ended up at his house after one of their dates, he’d been more occupied with making her cum as many times as possible.
On top of that, he didn’t show anyone his exhibit pieces until the day they were setting it up.
Clara would get a glimpse now and then, but overall, the pieces were a surprise to everyone but himself.
The fact that she couldn’t wait to see it told Elion that she planned on them still being together when the exhibit took place.
“Do you think there’s somewhere we can get dessert?” Olani asked as they approached the street to get a taxi.
They’d bypassed dessert at the restaurant since they didn’t want to be late for the show, and he’d noticed from their past dates that she always liked to have something sweet after dinner.
“We can check, Sweetheart,” he responded as he flagged a taxi. He opened the door and allowed her to slide in first.
He asked the driver to take them to the best late-night place they could get dessert from, and they were on their way.
Twenty minutes later, they pulled up in front of a cafe.
There were a few cars parked out front, and they headed inside.
The smell of delicious sweets greeted them, and they walked to the counter.
“Hello, how can I help you?” the man at the counter greeted.
“Do you know what you want, baby?” Elion asked.
Olani nodded. “Can I have a piece of your caramel flan and a vanilla latte?”
“Of course, and for you, sir?” the associate asked.
“I’ll have a guava empanada and water.”
“Sure thing.”
They were given the total, and Elion stopped her when she tried to reach into her crossbody, paying instead. He told them he’d bring it to them in a moment, and they could choose a seat. He allowed Olani to pull him over to a nearby table and sat across from her.
“What time are we heading out tomorrow?”
“At ten-fifteen.”
He watched her think for a moment. He knew she was trying to guess what they would do based on the time they were leaving. She’d done the same thing the previous couple of days.
“Are we going jet skiing?” she asked. Elion shook his head. They were going jet skiing but not the following day. “Mm, give me a hint.”
He smiled at her. “Now, where would the fun be in that, Sweetheart?”
She gave him a playful little pout that quickly disappeared as their dessert and drinks were brought to them. They thanked him, and he watched her take a small sip of her latte.
“Coffee at ten-thirty at night, baby?” He’d thought about it when she ordered it, but he had said nothing.
“I need all the energy I can get tonight.”
“Oh? You plan on me wearing you out tonight?”
She smirked at him. “No, I plan on wearing you out.”
“I like the sound of that,” he responded.
When they finished their dessert, they hailed another cab and took the trip back to the hut. They walked through the front door fifteen minutes later, and Elion watched her place her purse on the dresser before entering the bathroom.
He pulled his wallet and phone from his back pocket and placed them on the dresser before sitting on the bed and removing his shoes.
He heard the shower turn on as he pulled his shirt over his head.
He tossed it into the laundry bag as Olani stepped into the doorway.
She stood before him naked, and he took her in.
If he’d thought it once, he’d thought it several times; he’d never tire of admiring her.
“Come join me. I want to start depleting your energy in the shower,” she told him with a sly smile.
Elion licked his lips as he stood, unbuttoning his shorts. She didn’t have to tell him twice, and he had every intention of letting her have her way.
