Chapter 6 #2
Elias’ smile widened, and he waved a hand to the section adjacent to him. Dorian guided me to the couch. I carefully settled next to him, smoothing my dress around my legs, but as much as I adjusted, the slit parted, baring my thigh an obscene amount.
Elias’ gaze dropped to my leg, and his lips twitched. Dorian’s body tensed almost imperceptibly, but his lips spread into a smile and he leaned back, placing his arm on the backrest behind me.
His coffee scent slithered through my nose, invading all my senses. I couldn’t hold back my shiver.
The woman dancing on the stage shook her ass, her gaze focusing on Rafe who hadn’t sat and watched the room impassively. Cade perched on the edge of the couch closer to the Alpha who hadn’t moved, focused on the dancer. Watching her as one studied a mare. Clinical.
But at least there was one fortunate bit. Kelly was gone.
“There is a certain level of . . . privacy my events thrive on.” Elias leaned forward, arms resting across his thighs.
“As you well know.” Dorian grunted, and Elias’ gaze flicked to me.
I stiffened my spine in an effort not to cower.
Alpha pheromones coated the air and made me feel suffocated.
The sour scent of the other Alpha’s stung my nose, and the only way it would abate was when I breathed in through my mouth. “Is this the Omega you’re offering?”
“She is.”
“Then let’s take a look at her. You, off,” Elias ordered the woman on the circular stage. The Beta grinned and wiggled her fingers at him before flouncing off.
“On the stage,” Dorian ordered.
His voice was hard, and it took me a moment to realize he was speaking to me. I pressed my hand to my chest. He raised an eyebrow.
“Hurry it up,” Cade crowed. The man next to him slit his eyes to peek, then closed his eyes again, settling.
My heart thundered in my ears. Dorian gripped my arm.
“Do as I say,” he hissed and threw me forward. I stumbled, my hands slapping on the black platform. My lip trembled, and I stiffened it.
I turned back, met his eyes. “Perro,” I spat.
Rafe burst into laughter, and I turned my scowl to him.
I’d choose my battles. With my head held high, I stepped onto the platform.
This wasn’t new to me. Back home, Father would parade me to his wealthy friends.
Dress me in jewels and beautiful dresses, all in an effort to sell me.
But none ever offered enough, nor had enough—until now.
“Behave,” Dorian snapped.
“Is there a problem?” Elias’ raised voice came from behind. I whirled to face the two Alphas. “She’s a spitfire,” Elias commented, and it sounded like he liked it. I gritted my teeth.
I focused my gaze on Dorian—the monster I knew.
His eyes raked over me, and it took everything in me not to crawl out of my skin. Wet sounds of fucking echoed from behind the curtains. The sounds did nothing to abate the heat simmering under my skin.
“When I found out you were the primary shareholders of HeatLink, I knew you had a good eye for business,” Elias said, scanning my body. “And she won’t cause any problems?”
“She won’t.” Dorian’s gaze remained blank, giving nothing away as he spoke about me.
The Ironwyld Pack had invested in HeatLink? The app monopolized the industry, even abroad. No wonder they were so wealthy.
“Dance,” Cade shouted between his cupped hands. I didn’t spare him a glance.
“Not many Alphas would consider offering up an Omega. Much less for their heat.”
My stomach dropped to hell. I was here to be offered. They didn’t want to breed me. They wanted to sell my heat?
Numbness spread through my fingers, and I couldn’t move. I couldn’t think or speak as my mind tried to catch up with what was happening. Dorian grunted, and his attention hadn’t left me. None of their attention had left me other than Elias who was peering down at his phone.
Dorian narrowed his eyes at me, and I could see the threat clear as day. They needed me to cooperate.
Cooperate . . .
I had it. My bargaining chip.
I’d show them that giving me what I wanted would be best for them. Pushing my shoulders back, I straightened my spine, forcing my breasts out. Instead of strutting across the circle stage, I stepped off the platform and strode for Elias.
Dorian stiffened more and more with my approach.
I stood before Elias. He studied me with his eyebrows raised high. It was in an Alpha’s biology to care for their Omega. Even if they didn’t know who I was to them, they’d feel something.
I leaned forward, pressed my palm against his shoulder, but before I could slide onto his lap, I was snatched back by my middle. The grip was hard, punishing. I fought for a split second, arching my neck to see which of the jerks it was. Cade.
“Can’t have you giving it for free, Omega,” he said, a bite in his voice.
Elias laughed. “Oh, she’ll be entertaining. Maybe I’ll end up purchasing the time from you,” he chortled.
“Vete al demonio,” I hissed at Cade, and jerked my elbow back to hit Cade in the stomach. He grunted and suddenly muscled me to face him, then tossed me over his shoulder. Air burst from my lips explosively.
Surroundings blurred as he toted me away. His strides were wide and quick. It didn’t take long for the cold outside air to hit. Cade swatted my ass, and it sent a sharp sting down my leg.
I threw myself to the side, and his grip slipped.
The ground rushed toward my face, but another pair of arms hoisted me up.
Coffee filled my senses. It was so close and delicious.
Rafe yanked me hard against him so my back was to his chest, while Cade glared at me.
Shadows fell across his face, and it took time for my eyes to adjust in the slim path branching out from the parking garage.
“What the fuck was that?” He sneered, showing a lot of teeth. “What were you trying to do without our say so?”
Rafe squeezed my arms hard, nearing pain. Dorian strode toward us with the same rage plastered across his expression.
Ha. The black-hearted Alphas wouldn’t know it now, but it was because I would have belonged to them. If they hadn’t wrecked everything.
“If you think you’ll fuck him—”
“You left me high and dry, didn’t you?” I mocked, raising an eyebrow at Cade, not caring about how he was going to finish the sentence. “Well, he seemed like he could handle pleasing me—”
“Enough,” Dorian shouted. It rang through the parking garage. Breaths sawed from my throat.
“You want to come, I’ll make you come,” Cade said through gritted teeth.
He was suddenly in my face, hand under my dress. I fought to free myself from Rafe, but he didn’t budge. His arm settled under my breasts, keeping me tight against him as he pressed closer until his thighs forced my legs apart.
Fingers touched my sex. That was the only warning I had. He shoved his digit inside my channel.
I cried out, tears flooding my eyes from the utter pleasure. Aching need had hovered under my skin, waiting to rear its treacherous head. Their pheromones settled around me, and I moaned, my sex clamping.
“Didn’t that fucker say she was docile?” Rafe asked in his deep, rumbling voice.
Dorian stepped close to Cade’s side, and he gripped my jaw, turning my face forcefully. I didn’t have much fight with the fingers gliding into my core.
Pleasure rippled through my sex.
“She’s so slick,” Cade murmured and added a third finger inside me.
I cried out from the pressure and bunched the front of Cade’s tweed jacket. My channel clamped his fingers, but he wasn’t thrusting them hard enough. I was already so lit up from earlier that an orgasm built rapidly. My legs trembled, and I went limp. Rafe’s grip around my torso kept me upright.
Dorian leaned down, pressing his mouth against my ear. “You won’t like the consequences of not behaving.” The threat did nothing to stave off the pleasure. I clawed for a reason to give him to agree.
“I can make this very fucking hard for you,” I hissed. “Or, I can go along with what you want.” I paused. The thrust of Cade’s fingers stopped, and I gasped, moving my hips for more.
“We can return you.” Dorian’s scent played along my nose.
“After we got the invite?” Cade groused. “Elias will expect her now.” He spread his fingers, rubbing the walls of my sex. “She’ll behave once we give her what she needs.”
Dorian stayed quiet, and I didn’t take my eyes off his. But my eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Cade rubbed his thumb against my clit. The orgasm slammed into me, and my channel clamped around his fingers. I moaned, the sound embarrassingly loud, but it felt too good.
Cade’s voice floated through the daze of pleasure. “Look how she relaxes after a good finger fucking.”
My legs wouldn’t stop twitching. Cade pulled his fingers from my channel to lift them to his mouth, licking my slick clean off. Rafe curled his arms under my legs to cradle me. He inhaled audibly, his face nearing mine. My eyes widened, but all I could do was lie in his arms while he sniffed me.
“Whoever purchases her for her heat won’t be waiting long. Her pheromones are strong.” Rafe’s eyelids lowered, and he breathed in again. “She’ll be snatched up at the auction.”
Auction. They were auctioning me off during my heat. Why? None of this made sense.
“You don’t need the money,” I slurred and lunged to grab the collar of Dorian’s shirt, forcing him to stay near my face. I peered into his emerald eyes. His nostrils flared. “You want something. Whatever it is. I’ll help you.”
His jaw clenched, and the side of his cheek jumped. The other two stilled.
“But at the end of whatever you’re trying to do, you must let me go.”
I understood the underlying thread of what I was telling them.
Willingness to fuck some random pack, but there was never room in my life for free will.
I had two choices before me. Expose that we were Scent Matches and hope to God that even mattered to them, or participate in offering myself up for a fuck.
As much as I wished it were them, I couldn’t let myself hope. If they were the ones to claim me, my heart would get away from me. But if I went in the other direction, it would kill two birds with one stone. I’d be satiated, and they wouldn’t find out about me.
Dorian blinked, and his dark eyelashes fanned across his eyes. They were so dark it seemed like he had mascara rimming them. Dorian slid his hand over mine and lifted my fingers one by one until they were no longer hooked on his collar.
He stepped away, and Rafe followed with me in his arms. A vise around my throat made it difficult to verbalize what I wanted. Rafe watched me steadily, nothing on his features. We were nearing the sleek car.
“Dorian!”
He stilled beside the open driver’s side door. For a moment, I didn’t think he’d answer, then he said, “I’ll think on it.”
Cade popped open the trunk. Surprisingly, he hadn’t made a stupid comment once. Rafe rolled me into the trunk. I immediately sat up, trying to escape. It was pure instinct—pure panic.
“Stop,” Cade ordered, squeezing my forearms in one of his hands and pressing them onto my stomach. I landed on my back, staring at him standing over me, about to trap me in the felt coffin.
Cade withdrew his touch slowly. As if to see if I’d move. He shut the trunk, leaving me with my desperation.
At least they hadn’t zip-tied me this time. My wrists were raw enough.
