Blurb

It was a sunny day for the outing.

Joseph Hewitt tagged along with a mother-daughter pair.

Despite having three cars, there was still one seat short.

Without batting an eye, Joseph pulled me out of the front-passenger seat and told the mother and daughter, "Get in here."

The five-hour drive to Ocean City loomed ahead, and suddenly, exhaustion hit me hard.

I calmly got out of the car and watched it drive off in a flash.

Later, a video showed the beach scene at Ocean City.

Joseph was having a blast with the mother-daughter duo.

They were having a whale of a time by the shore. Someone in the video noticed my absence and asked Joseph, "Aren’t you gonna go get Maria?"

Joseph, busy teaching the woman to swim, just shrugged and said, "Maria? She’s easy to pacify. She won’t be mad." Little did he know, I’d never waste my anger on him again.
