CHAPTER 23

Katrina

The wave rose beneath Ryan's board, bigger than anything Katrina had seen him attempt before.

For a split second she thought he was going to bail.

Instead, he committed.

His feet found the board, somehow staying planted as the nose tipped over the edge. Then gravity took over, carrying him down the face of the wave.

"Oh my God," she murmured.

He was doing it. Not perfectly. His arms pinwheeled more than they should have, and his knees were stiff, but he was riding the wave.

She whooped so loudly her voice echoed off the cliffs. "That's it! Ride it all the way in!"

Marina was already carving across the shoulder farther down the line. She looked over, caught sight of Ryan still standing, and flashed him an enthusiastic thumbs-up before disappearing into the spray.

Katrina laughed. He'd actually done it.

By the time Ryan guided the board onto the shoulder and safely out of the breaking section, she was grinning so hard her cheeks hurt.

The next couple of waves weren't nearly as dramatic, but they were somehow even more satisfying to watch. Ryan wasn't surviving them anymore. He was beginning to understand them.

Each ride looked a little more deliberate than the last. Dad would've loved this. The thought arrived so naturally it almost didn't hurt.

He had always enjoyed teaching people. If he'd been there, he would've been cheering louder than anyone.

Ryan wiped out spectacularly on his final wave, disappearing beneath a burst of whitewater before popping back up laughing.

Katrina laughed with him. That was enough for today.

They paddled toward shore together, letting the smaller waves push them the last few yards onto the sand.

"You looked terrified," Katrina said, pulling off her leash. "But you did it anyway. That's what matters."

Ryan laughed. "I was terrified."

"I know."

She bumped his shoulder with hers. "It worked."

They spread the bamboo mat on the sand while the last light settled across the cove. The cliffs wrapped around the little beach, shutting out the rest of the world. No voices. No traffic. Just the surf folding onto the shore and the sky burning orange beyond the horizon.

Katrina flopped onto the mat beside Ryan while Marina reached into the cooler.

She loved this place. When they were kids, she'd always imagined the cove belonged to their family alone. Even now, with Ryan sitting between her and Marina, it still felt that way.

Oh no. She shouldn’t think of him as family. He would still go away, even though he was staying for another week.

Ryan took a long drink of his beer while Marina settled beside him.

"You're getting good," Marina said.

"Getting better," Ryan corrected. "Not good."

"Good enough," Katrina said, leaning lightly against his shoulder. "You caught that monster wave. Most beginners would've bailed."

He smiled, looking almost embarrassed by the compliment.

She liked that about him.

Most people wanted everyone to know how impressive they were. Ryan always seemed surprised whenever someone praised him.

As the conversation drifted toward work and the websites, Katrina watched him more than she listened.

He really had stayed. He hadn't needed to.

He could have gone back to San Jose yesterday, returned to his comfortable apartment and his high-paying job. Instead, he'd given them another week.

Not because he had to, but because he wanted to help them out. Every time she remembered that, something warm settled inside her.

When Ryan mentioned the surf school website was nearly finished, she sat up. "Seriously? Already?"

"I told you I work fast."

"I want to see!" She reached instinctively for her phone before remembering there wasn't any signal in the cove. She groaned. "Fine. As soon as we get home."

Marina thanked him again. Ryan shrugged it off as though he'd done nothing remarkable. Typical.

He never seemed to realize how much his kindness mattered.

They fell comfortably silent again, watching the sun sink lower.

Katrina rested her shoulder against his. It felt... easy. Natural. Almost dangerous. She could get used to this far too quickly.

"What's the plan for the rest of the night?" Ryan asked.

"I was thinking movies," Katrina said. "That new thriller on Netflix."

"Or," Marina said, watching the sunset, "we could stay here a little longer."

Katrina followed her gaze. The sky looked as though someone had spilled fire across the horizon.

"Okay," she admitted. "It's worth staying."

Without warning, Marina stood and unzipped her wetsuit, peeling it down to her waist.

"I'm hot," she said. "Aren't you?"

Katrina laughed. "Definitely."

She did the same, tugging the neoprene down until only her turquoise bikini remained. The cool evening breeze brushed against her skin, carrying the lingering scent of salt water.

"Much better." She settled beside Ryan again, this time a little closer than before.

Their arms touched. She felt him tense almost immediately, and she smiled, pleased by his reaction.

Marina sat down on his other side, her thigh brushing his.

"Like what you see?" Marina asked him playfully.

Ryan didn't even try to hide his smile. "Of course. You two are more beautiful than the scenery."

Katrina gasped dramatically and pulled back just enough to look at him.

"Are you objectifying us, Ryan Carter?"

His eyes widened. "What? No! I was complimenting you!"

She burst out laughing. "I'm kidding. God, you're easy."

Before she could think better of it, she leaned forward and kissed him. His lips were warm despite the cool evening air.

When she drew back, she smiled. "You're an even better sight," she murmured.

Ryan looked confused until her hand brushed against his lap. The unmistakable bulge in his wetsuit made her smirk.

“Oh,” he stammered, a flush creeping up his neck. “That’s...sorry.”

“Sorry?” she shot back, arching an eyebrow. “For what? Having a functioning dick? Trust me, it’s appreciated.” She cupped him through the neoprene, feeling the hard outline beneath her palm.

On her other side, Marina joined in, both of them stroking him together. The friction ignited a spark within Katrina, sending shivers of excitement coursing through her.

“I should probably take this off,” Ryan said, reaching for his zipper, but Marina caught his hand.

“Not yet,” Marina said, her voice dripping with seduction. “This is called edging. The longer you wait, the better it’ll feel when you finally come.”

Katrina chuckled, recalling how Ryan had teased Marina on the boat.

“You’re getting me back for last time,” Ryan accused, a hint of playful frustration coloring his tone.

Marina smiled back, innocent yet mischievous. “Maybe. Or maybe I just want to see how long you can last.”

Katrina leaned in to kiss him again, deeper this time, feeling their connection intensify as her tongue danced with his. She and Marina worked in tandem, their hands building pressure around him until Ryan’s hips involuntarily lifted.

“This is torture,” he groaned, surrendering to their playful assault.

“Good torture or bad torture?” Marina asked, sounding sultry.

“Both,” Ryan admitted, a mix of pleasure and frustration evident in his rough voice. “Mostly good.”

Katrina reveled in the moment, taking turns with her sister, kissing him while their hands never left his eager cock. The wetsuit trapped the heat, amplifying every touch.

Ryan’s hands are busy too, one hand cupping Marina’s breast through her bikini top while the other teasing the edge of Katrina’s bottoms. Just when the tension reached its peak, Katrina pulled back, a grin spreading across her face as she unhooked her bikini top.

Her breasts spilled free, round and full, the cool air hardening her nipples. Leaning over Ryan, she offered them to him. “Make yourself useful,” she said, her voice husky.

Without hesitation, he took a nipple between his lips, sucking hard and circling the sensitive peak with his tongue. Katrina moaned, arching into him as her hand tangled in his hair, pulling him closer.

While he was distracted, Marina moved, swinging a leg over Ryan’s hips and straddling him, keeping the wetsuit between them. As she settled her weight on his erection, she began to rock, grinding against him through the fabric.

Ryan groaned, his hips instinctively lifting to meet Marina’s movements.

“God, you’re so hard,” Marina whispered, her gaze locked onto his face. “I can feel every inch.”

She shifted, turning away from him while still straddling his hips, her back now facing him. Katrina watched as her sister’s round ass swayed enticingly, glancing back at Ryan with a look that was both challenging and inviting. With a playful slap to her own ass, the sound echoed in the quiet cove.

“Fuck,” Ryan breathed, lost in the moment. His hands gripped Marina’s hips, guiding her movements, feeling the wet warmth of her through the wetsuit

Katrina pulled back. “That’s enough teasing. We don’t want him to explode in that wetsuit.” She laughed as Marina slid off Ryan’s lap, a mischievous smile crossing her face. “Fair enough. But first...” With a swift motion, she reached for his zipper, eager to free him.

Together, Katrina and her sister worked quickly, tugging the wetsuit down his legs until he could kick it off completely. Next came his swim briefs, leaving him completely exposed on the mat, his cock standing proudly against his stomach.

“Holy shit,” Katrina said in awe. “Worth the wait.” She knelt beside him, and Marina followed suit, taking the other side.

Without needing to discuss it, they leaned in, their mouths enveloping him from opposite sides.

The moment Marina’s tongue flicked the underside of his shaft and Katrina circled the head, a low moan escaped Ryan’s lips.

His head fell back, his eyes drawn to the darkening sky.

Katrina looked up as well. Stars began to appear, twinkling like tiny diamonds scattered across a deep blue canvas.

A gull cried overhead, and the steady rhythm of waves rolling onto the shore surrounded them.

The cool breeze raised goosebumps along her bare skin, but it did nothing to quiet the warmth spreading through her.

This couldn’t be real. It felt too surreal, like a vivid dream conjured from the depths of her imagination. And yet, it felt real. He was real.

Katrina’s hand found his balls, squeezing gently, pushing him closer to the edge. “I’m close,” he warned, his voice rough and strained.

Marina pulled back, her lips glistening under the fading light. “Not yet,” she said, a teasing smile playing on her lips. They shared a knowing look, that silent communication between them, before moving in unison.

They got on all fours, side by side, presenting their asses to him. Katrina glanced over her shoulder, her hair cascading across her face. “Your choice,” she purred. “Me or her first. But we both want you.”

Ryan didn’t hesitate. He positioned himself behind Katrina, his cock nudging against her entrance. She was already wet, her body welcoming him as he pushed forward. Simultaneously, he slid two fingers inside Marina, eliciting soft moans from both women.

He seemed to have found a rhythm, thrusting into Katrina while his fingers worked inside Marina. Along with her sister, Katrina rocked back to meet him, their hands finding each other and intertwining as he pleasured them both.

“Fuck, that’s good,” Katrina gasped, her inner muscles tightening around him. “Right there, don’t stop.”

For what felt like an eternity, the world around them faded away, narrowing to the exquisite pressure of Katrina’s body enveloping him and the slick glide as he plunged deeper.

Their moans, gasps, and ragged breaths mingled with the distant caw of a gull and the relentless crash of surf, creating the best music she had ever heard.

Next to her, Marina murmured encouragement. Ryan constantly adjusted his angle to satisfy them both. Katrina felt the tension building inside her, each moment stretching tighter, ready to snap.

She focused on the symphony of their bodies: the slap of flesh, Marina’s strangled moans when Ryan hit just the right spot, and how her own back arched, hair whipping in the wind.

Katrina wanted it to last, to stretch this moment into forever, but her body had other ideas.

She seized, hands clawing at the mat as a primal cry erupted from her lips.

She felt Ryan fill her completely, the pulsations of her climax pulling him closer to the edge, almost losing himself in the heat of the moment.

Then Marina followed, her body trembling as she climaxed. The sound of their shared ecstasy filled the air, and Katrina felt herself teetering on the brink. She fought to hold on, to savor it all, unwilling to let go just yet.

As Katrina’s contractions eased, she collapsed onto her stomach, panting. “I need a minute,” she managed, her voice muffled against the mat. “But don’t stop on my account.”

Ryan withdrew slowly, shifting his attention to Marina, who was already poised for him, hips raised and bikini bottoms pushed aside. He slid into her with one smooth motion, filling her completely. “Oh God,” Marina breathed, her head dropping back. “Yes, just like that.”

Ryan gripped Marina’s hip with one hand while cupping her breast with the other. Beneath him, Marina responded eagerly, arching her back and pushing against him.

From the corner of her eye, Katrina saw Marina’s pleasure bloom, and she felt the heat between her legs as if she hadn’t just come. She rolled onto her side, fingers stroking her still-sensitive clit. She watched intently as Ryan drove into Marina, lost in the moment.

“I’m close,” Marina gasped, her muscles tightening around him. “So close.”

Ryan quickened his pace, his thumb finding her nipple and pinching lightly. That simple touch seemed to have sent Marina spiraling over the edge, her body clenching around him as she cried out. Ryan groaned, pushed deep, and released himself inside her.

For a brief moment, they remained connected, trembling with aftershocks. Then Ryan carefully withdrew and sank down beside Marina. Katrina curled against him, resting her head on his chest, her hand spread across his stomach.

Above them, the stars slowly emerged one by one. The steady hush of the surf mingled with their slowing breaths. Ryan's arm rested around Marina's shoulders, his fingers still tangled in Katrina's hair.

Katrina wished she could stop time. No tomorrow. No goodbyes. No heartache. Just the three of them together beneath the stars.
