Chapter Eight

Cujo

“Hey there, big man, are you looking for some attention?” a raspy voice whispers in my ear, and bright red nails reach out to trace a line down my chest. A pretty beta bats her fake eyelashes at me, but I’m not remotely interested. Women who throw themselves at me are never the women I want.

Emboldened by my lack of response, she slides in next to me and presses her big, fake breasts into my arm. Disgust crawls under my skin.

“Not interested.” She lets out an imitation whimper from deep in her throat, mimicking an omega, but it does nothing for my Alpha instincts.

No. Visions of throwing her across the room flit through my head.

The loud cracking sound as her skull meets the wall…

I clutch the bar, trying to tamp it down.

“I promise I’ll show you a good time. You could even knot in me.

” That’s highly doubtful considering how fat my knot is.

Only an omega has a shot of taking this monster.

Other women, Alpha and beta alike, have tried.

It’s only led to pain and bloodshed. Though I’m tempted to watch this woman scream and cry as I destroy her cunt.

Beg the beast and get what you get.

“Not interested,” I tell her once more, reaching over to pluck her hand from my bicep.

“Asshole,” she hisses before sauntering away in search of easier prey.

The loud bass from the music pumps through the room, and I scan the space, always vigilant.

Most of the MC has turned out for this one.

Only Garmr is notably absent. Hellbent Hound and Air Devil cuts fill the room, along with women and men who wish they were part of us.

The clubhouse’s main room is packed. Too packed.

I tap the bar, and a shot of whiskey appears. My favorite, and exactly what I need. After lifting the glass to my lips, I tip it back and let the liquor burn down my throat.

Suddenly, there’s a shout, and I swivel quickly, ready to defend.

But it’s nothing. Just Gytrash and Cerberus fucking around.

For an old man, Gy can really throw one back.

He swallows shot after shot, chasing it with beer as our Pres cheers him on.

Mama C snuggles under Cerberus’ arm, smiling blissfully.

Their love is dangerous. A weakness that can be used against you.

“Beer me.” The Air Devil’s prospect grumbles something about being forced to work, and I take note of his name, “Puke,” to let their VP know. No one needs an entitled prospect. Grumpily, he does as he’s told, plunking it down in front of me so hard that droplets shoot out the top of the longneck.

Just as I’m about to drink my fresh beer, there’s a change in the atmosphere. Something electric charges the air, bringing my Alpha instincts to the forefront.

What is it? Who is it? Where is it? I’ve learned to never ignore my instincts. The last time I did, I ended up in a cell, hanging by my wrists for three months, while enemy combatants sliced my flesh to ribbons.

Standing to my full height, I slide into the shadows, eyes trained yet searching the room for whatever has me on edge. As I scan from corner to corner, nothing seems particularly different or strange.

My ear catches a word humming through the crowd. “Omega.” It can’t be…

A vaguely familiar brunette glares at someone on the couches, not unusual, but it draws my attention.

Who? It takes a moment to click—the beta who’s friends with my scent-match.

Fenrir mentioned inviting her tonight. She was the whole reason he threw the damn thing.

Fucking moron must’ve forgotten because there’s a blonde bobbing her head between his legs.

The friend looks angry enough to throw a dagger straight at his head, but she’s still not the source of my heightened state.

Omega.

The faintest whiff of honeysuckle floats my way.

She’s here. Unescorted. In a packed room of horny Alpha bikers. Adrenaline builds under my skin as I rush toward the brunette.

“You!” I shout, getting her attention. I have no idea how many people are staring at us right now, but I don’t care. “Where’s Willow?”

Her eyes narrow on me, and all her misplaced anger is thrust in my direction.

“Why do you wanna know?” she challenges, her hands landing on her hips, giving me all the sass in her little beta body.

“Answer the question, beta. Did she come with you or not?” I imbue my bark with enough power to force her response.

“Yes.” The word bites out, yanked from her forcefully.

“Well, where is she?” I bark once more, pulling the information from her.

“She left with some man as soon as we walked through the gate. He was gonna show her his room or something.” She gasps out each word as though fighting my dominance, but it’s silly—no beta or omega can deny me. Hell, most Alphas bend to my bark—it makes me one hell of an SAA.

And it sounds like someone’s going to be receiving my full wrath tonight.

“Who?” My body vibrates with anger, and I clench my fists, doing everything I can not to tear apart the woman in front of me. Kill the messenger.

“No clue. I only know Fen, who’s currently having his dick sucked,” she hisses, throwing her hand in the moron’s direction. I’ll unleash her on him soon.

“What was his name? It should have been on his cut.” Pointing to the patch above my heart, I show her exactly what I mean. The beta squints as though in deep thought before speaking.

“I think it said Pup? Or maybe Puppy? Something like that.” Why the heck did we decide to have two prospects with such similar names? Doesn’t matter.

They’re both going to wish they were dead. Fucking prospects. Their lives are about to become a living hell.

Done with this bitch, I go in search of my next victim.

Pushing through the crowd, I head straight for the door.

People move out of my way, parting out of self-preservation.

After slamming the doors open, I rush for the gate, where the prospects had better be patting down our guests to make sure that nothing unsavory enters the premises.

Taking long-legged strides, I reach the imbeciles at the gate in seconds. Pup and Whelp are busy doing their jobs, and as I sniff the air, there’s no evidence that my little omega was here at all.

“Dumbasses!” I shout, getting their attention.

“Where’s the omega?” My roar makes Pup flinch, while Whelp unleashes a menacing growl.

His aggression will make him a good brother one day.

But today is not that day. “Answer now.” My second bark gets them talking.

Pup starts spewing a bunch of incoherent nonsense.

“What omega, Cujo? I don’t know if I saw an omega.

What does she look like? Or is it a he? I mean, omegas can be he’s, right?

I’ve never met one before.” Our brotherhood is open to all designations, but I often forget that betas don’t take in scents the way we do.

Omegas are so rare that a beta might not even realize.

However, my eyes fall on Whelp. Surely our Alpha prospect knows exactly who I’m talking about. He rolls his eyes but shrugs.

“She came through here about ten minutes ago with a brunette. Didn’t want to comply with the pat-down—was all jittery and shit.

Puppy vouched her in. So, if she’s fucked up, blame him.

” Whelp shakes his head, seemingly uncomfortable with the way things went down, not realizing how lucky he is.

Clean hands mean I don’t need to remove a future brother’s fingers for touching what’s mine.

“Where did they go?” If they are in the clubhouse, I would know, but if they skirted it in favor of Puppy’s room… Dammit.

I’m going to shove his dick so far down his throat that he won’t breathe again. Ever.

“Honestly, man, I didn’t watch them leave, but based on the little hearts in his eyes, I would most likely check his room.” My heart thunders, and red colors my vision. “Fucking bullshit, if you ask me. Wasting prime omega pussy on a puny beta.”

The urge to punch him is strong, but there’s not a second to waste. Puppy will not be getting his dick wet with my omega’s slick.

Gravel crunches below my boots as I stomp off, ready to annihilate the beta prospect and get my woman.

Dead. One hundred percent dead.

Someone’s gonna die today, doo da doo da. Someone’s gonna die today, oh the do da day.
