CHAPTER TWENTYMary Jo
Mary Jo
Cole and I sit in silence. The car is still running.
Cole’s phone dings. He crawls across me into the front seat and puts the car in drive.
I think about jumping out of the car, but it’s only a brief thought. Not with a gun in play. We drive into a neighborhood right by the church. There’s a shadow on the sidewalk. It gets close, and I see it’s Jayden. Carrying something over his shoulder.
A person.
I gasp.
Jayden wrenches the back passenger door open and tosses the person in. It’s a woman. She flops to the seat, head by my waist. There’s blood everywhere.
Holy shit. I can’t take my eyes off her. She appears unconscious. Or she’s dead. I’m torn away from looking at her by my door opening and a rush of cold air coming in. I scream.
Jayden jumps over me and sits between me and the girl. “Drive Cole.”
The truck lurches, and we go the normal speed down the road. Instead of thinking about anything important, I think about how Jayden must be getting blood on his jeans.
I’m sucking in deep breaths. The girl’s head moves with the car, and I see her face.
Ice shoots through my veins.
She’s familiar. Where have I seen this girl before? Why do I know her?
She moans. Jayden pulls his gun out, and lays it across his legs, pointing at the girl.
I don’t ask anything. He looks at me, does a double take, and yanks the blindfold back up over my eyes. I feel him lean into me. “Have you enjoyed your time, kitten?”
“No,” I murmur and tremble. He just kidnapped another woman. Cole helped. She might be dead. These men are crazy. I need to get away. They’re going to kill me. Us.
Jayden leans in and takes a deep breath. Is he…smelling me?
I scoot back until I’m pressed into the car door. He follows and his weight moves on top of me.
“No!” My heart is pounding. Racing. I need to get away. I push him away and scramble for my blindfold and the door handle.
“You should know better than to try and escape me,” he growls in my ear. He yanks my pants down.
I yank down my blindfold and rush to get them back up. His mouth is on my clit before I can, hot and wet. He reaches up to grab my breast and pinches my nipple so hard I scream.
I grip his hair with both hands and yank him away from me as hard as I can.
He groans and pushes back into me harder, eating me with enthusiasm.
I scratch and claw, but he only pins my hands to my stomach and continues.
There’s no room for me to kick him as my right leg is pinned between his body and the front seat and my left is on the girl. Her warm blood is soaking my sock.
Fuck, the girl.
I struggle, only giving extra friction on my clit. Sensation shoots through me. I pant and growl, but my hands don’t move. I can’t get away.
“If you think you’ll get away, you’re mistaken.
You’re my prize, and I’m going to claim you.
” He makes eye contact with me and sucks my clit into his mouth and sucks hard.
My body responds, jerking into him. What the hell is wrong with me?
I start to cry in frustration. Jayden’s eyes bore into me, and he groans.
“Fuck,” Cole says from the front seat. His expression is ravenous.
Jayden sucks with more enthusiasm. He makes my body feel good. Too good. It keeps bucking into him for friction. I haven’t peed yet and the pressure adds to the pleasure. The pleasure builds until my orgasm tears through me and I cry out.
Jayden crawls up over me, and then his dick is in my face. I realize I’ve never seen it and the car is too dark to see it now. The tip is at my lips.
“Suck,” he says in a husky voice. My mind is glazed in pleasure still.
I instinctively open, and he pushes into my mouth.
He pistons in fast and hard and I choke right away.
He’s big. I hollow my cheeks and do my best to breathe as he pounds my face.
He’s brutal and rough and I choke and gag, but he doesn’t let up.
His pounding gets faster, and he growls, “Swallow.”
He stops, and cum shoots down my throat.
He’s so far in I have no choice but to swallow.
He pulses over and over into me so long I start to pull away to breathe.
He grips my hair at the back of my head and yanks me off of him.
He tucks himself away and puts his forehead to mine.
His eyes are angry and dark. “You will never get away from me. Do you hear me? You’re mine. There is no escape.”

When the truck stops, the men make me stay in the back while they drag the girl out. She woke up at some point in the drive but couldn't seem to stay awake. That didn’t seem good. After what felt like an hour of driving they put the blindfold back on. I cried silently for a long time.
It takes them a while to come get me. When they do, I see we’re back in the garage at the cabin. The girl is nowhere in sight but Cole doesn’t let me look and grabs my arm, dragging me toward the cabin.
“I can walk.” I try pulling my arm away.
He doesn’t relent and marches me inside. His lips are drawn in a thin line, and he punches the alarm code into the door. He sees me watching and, before I can move, pins me against the door. I let out a gasp of air.
Cole leans in and says in a low voice, “Not today, little one.”
“Why?” I whisper.
His gaze roams over my body. “You have blood on you.” He licks his lips.
I look down, trying to see myself where he isn’t pressed into me. Holy shit I do. It’s all over my pants and even my top. The girl’s lifeblood. I want to rip all my clothes off and scrub myself clean.
“Who is she? I know her.”
He looks at me and I see pity in his gaze for a second. Quickly, it’s gone. He doesn’t answer.
That brief expression takes all the fight out of me.
“Can I shower?” I whisper.
He steps back. “I don’t know. You being covered in blood is the hottest thing I’ve seen since Jayden took you in the car.”
Tears well in my eyes. “You’re sick.”
He nods. “It’s a good thing you are too.”
“I’m not,” I hiss. “I’m not the one who kidnapped two people and watched while someone was raped.”
Cole’s eyes darken, and he closes in on my space, pushing me against the door again. “Did you not enjoy it? Do you not get off on being taken and forced? Did you not enjoy every other time we’ve touched you? Chased you? Made you come?”
I hate the feeling in my chest. There’s pressure like a band around me. Because I did like it. I’ve come harder and more often than I ever have before. I narrow my eyes in hatred. “That doesn’t make it right.”
He gives a mocking smile and growls. “Right? Are you saying your fantasies are wrong? Then you’re in a shitty place to start judging something you know nothing about.”
He grabs my arm and yanks me down to the bathroom. “Shower.”
I do. I stay as long as I dare. Until the water has run cold.
Until Cole tells me that Jayden needs to get in.
That gets me out quick. No matter how hard I try, I can’t stop thinking about everything that has happened to me.
About the girl. How I knew her. Why Jayden seemed to know me so well before he took me. About my traitorous body.
I vow to never let them make me come again. I’ve just been weak. It’s time I start being strong. It’s time to get away from these psychopaths before I end up like her .
***
Jayden cuffs me to my bed again that night. I can’t sleep. My tattoo itches incessantly. I can’t help thinking about that girl. I have a feeling she’s in the garage. With no heat. Having lost all that blood.
I sit up with a start. The paperclip! I fumble to search under the mattress. It’s still there. Frantically I work it in the keyhole. Soon my fingers get sweaty and keeping my grip on it is hard. It takes what feels like forever, but the cuff opens.
I could cry from relief. I put it back under the mattress, grab my sweater from the chair, and sneak to the door. I open it and cringe, although the sound it makes is soft.
The cabin is dark and quiet. I grab some granola bars from the counter and a water bottle. Cole doesn’t realize I saw the code to the door. I punch it in and hold my breath. Green lights up the monitor. I pad out the door and shut it softly. Then I’m running to the garage.
It’s unlocked again. The cocky motherfuckers. It scares me too. We really must not be close to anything if they feel comfortable leaving things unlocked. I step inside and close the door again.
It’s dark. I think about turning the light on, but I don’t. I notice the car keys are not hanging where they normally do. So not too cocky then.
There’s what appears to be a small office area to the right, by the stairs. I move to it and open the door.
Beyond a desk is the girl, handcuffed to a metal chair. I gasp.
Her head jerks up. Her hair is matted with blood, but it appears brunette. She has dark circles under her eyes, but she’s still gorgeous with tan skin and pretty eyes. She has the body of a supermodel.
I rush over to her. “Are you okay?”
She blinks at me. Of course, she isn’t.
Her voice comes out raspy, “Water?”
“Fuck. Yes.” I grab the bottle from my pocket and try to hand it to her, but realize her hands are bound. I snap the seal and hold it to her mouth.
She drinks in long pulls. She doesn’t stop until it’s all gone then eyes me warily. “He let you see me?”
“Uh, no. I picked the lock.”
She looks at me like I have two heads. I see now there’s a swollen lump on the side of her head where there’s the most blood. She’s in penguin pajamas. She must have a concussion.
“What’s your name?” I ask her.
“He didn’t tell you?” She coughs. “Can you get me out of these?”
Shit. “I left the paperclip in the cabin.”
“Paperclip?” She eyes me again.
“Yeah I stole it from Cole…” I look her over again. “What’s going on? Why did they take you?”
Deep, animalistic fear comes across her face. In a quiet voice she says, “He’s going to hurt me.”
The words drop ice in my belly. He wouldn’t…would he? I swallow. Yes, he would.
