CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHTMary Jo #2

“False,” Cole growls. He rubs his fingers through his cum and sticks them in my mouth. He shoves them down my throat. “Us. You’re ours. You wear our mark and our cum.” I gag. He doesn’t let up until he feels my tongue on his fingers, trying to push him out but also cleaning him off.

Jayden gets up and stands over me. “We’ll have every part of you. Even that rebellious spirit you try and keep locked away. You’re ours, kitten.” He leans down and gives me a light kiss on the forehead. Cole follows suit. “And there’s nothing you can do to stop it.”

He stands up and throws on a shirt.

I look at the ripped pieces of my own shirt and glare. “I only have one left. Thanks a lot.” I rub my thighs together.

Jayden cocks an eyebrow. “Well, let’s go get you more. And if you touch yourself before you beg for my dick, I won’t feed Sage.”

My nostrils flare. “You wouldn’t dare.”

He shrugs. “Try me.”

I throw myself out of Jayden’s bed and start sliding on my pants before it registers. Wait. Did he say to go shopping? I snap my gaze between the two of them. Cole looks equally surprised.

Jayden is finishing up dressing and casually throws on a pair of shoes.

“Like, shopping?”

“Yeah.” He’s slipping on a pair of shoes.

“And I can go?”

He sighs. “They’re for you .”

I look around and then back at him. He looks like he’s being serious. He’d risk that?

He opens the closet, and I hear beeping before he tucks something in his pants. A Glock. “This isn’t a chance for you to run, kitten. Throw a shirt on.”

I jump to obey. I keep thinking he’ll say psych and punish me for wanting to go, but we walk to the front door.

He sees I don’t have shoes and heads back upstairs.

He comes down with a pair of slides that are way too big for me, but I’m not complaining.

I keep glancing at his face. It’s impassive, as always.

“Is this another test?” I ask as I get into the back seat of the truck. Cole slides in next to me. He’s also tucked a gun into his waistband.

“Not unless you make it one, kitten.”

He starts the car. I let his asshole behavior go for a minute, and excitement floods my veins.

I’m leaving! And I’m not being drug out.

I’m going to see other people for the first time in…

forever. My eyes tear up. For a second, I feel real gratitude towards Jayden for letting me get out. Then I realized how fucked up that is.

We roll out of the driveway. Other people.

Real life. They can help me. I just have to get a message to them or get away from them long enough.

I run through options in my head as we drive down the dirt driveway and turn right onto a paved road.

It’s just forest and hills around us now.

I can use the bathroom and talk to someone in there.

Maybe I can even grab one of their guns. Would I be able to shoot them?

I look between both of them. At first, I would have said yes all day long. Would have killed them without a second thought. And I hate that there’s any hesitation right now. Of course, they deserve to die. They’re going to hurt Sage. They have hurt Sage.

But not me. At least not in the way they’ve hurt her. My heart grows somber.

The clock on the dash says six thirty.

Jayden sees me glance at the clock in the rear-view mirror. “Want to pass the time, kitten? I seem to remember you didn’t come.”

Cole slides closer to me. He winks at me before sliding his hand over my hip and between my pants and skin.

I don’t stop him. I know it’s useless to try, and he’ll get off if I do.

He starts circling my clit in gentle motions.

He and Jayden start up a conversation about the weather and how we’re supposed to get more snow.

Soon I’m looking out the window and biting my lip, trying to ignore both of them.

I’m already worked up, and Cole makes me feel good.

So much better than anyone else has been able to do besides Jayden.

But he doesn’t let me come. I didn’t think he would.

He continues teasing me until we start to get into a more populated area.

Until now, there’s only been the occasional mailbox and driveway.

I sit up straighter and watch houses roll by.

We roll up to a stop light, and Cole pinches my clit.

I jump, worked up and horny. He leans into my neck.

“No running, little one. As much as I would enjoy chasing you down, I don’t think the woman in that car ahead of us would enjoy a bullet in the brain because she witnessed it. ”

He kisses my neck and leans back, rubbing again. I shiver and look at the car ahead of us. It’s dark out, but I can see it’s a maroon SUV with some sort of decal in the back window. He wouldn’t hurt her…would he?

I put my hand on Cole’s wrist to try and get him away from me. I glance up at him. He’s looking at me. His face is serious.

I turn away. I’m overstimulated and jumpy. But I know if I tell him to stop, he’ll do it even more. I sit quietly until we pull into the Walmart parking lot.

“I know you heard what Cole said.” Jayden turns to look at me. “If you try to get help, if you try to pass a message, that person is going to die. We’ll make it quiet and discrete. Think about how easily we picked up you and Sage. Don’t make these innocent people have the same fate.”

I swallow. Cole finally takes his hand out of my pants and jumps out of the car. He offers it to me like a gentleman. I don’t take it and jump out. He grabs my hand and pulls me to him, kissing my forehead. To all the world, looking like a couple of people in love. He doesn’t let go of my hand.

People hurry through the parking lot to get out of the cold.

It feels odd to be back in society. I realize that real life has continued on without me.

Was anyone even looking for me? I know Kyle and Carissa are.

They would have raised hell, blasting my face all over social media.

Would my followers be looking for me too?

They walk me to the women’s section of the store. I look around half-heartedly. “I don’t have any money,” I mutter.

Jayden gives me a look. “I’m buying. Get what you need.”

I pick out some warm sweaters that look like they’ll be hard to rip and some cheap shirts too.

I throw a pair of shoes on the pile that Jayden is carrying, and he doesn’t say anything.

I toss some warm socks on too. As I’m looking at some panties since I’m tired of only having a few pairs, an old woman with a Walmart vest bustles up and starts stocking the shelves near me.

“Can I help you with anything?” She smiles at me.

I freeze. Her old eyes look so kind. Like she would help me. I flick my glance at the two men a few feet away. They’re watching me. Jayden raises an eyebrow.

“No. Thanks.”

“Alright.” She keeps stocking the shelves.

I grab whatever panties were in front of me and throw them at Jayden. I can’t even look at them. This is so fucked up. I didn’t pick out a coat, but I’m over it. “Let’s go,” I mutter.

They guide me up to the self-checkout.

“Hey momma,” a man’s voice slurs.

I look around. The guy in his early 40s in the checkout next to us is looking at me. His eyes are glossy, but he’s dressed in a nice pair of jeans and a plaid shirt.

Cole steps between us and grabs my hand again.

“Wow, rude,” he grumbles. “I was just trying to say hi. I didn’t mean anything by it.” The man finishes checking out and mutters under his breath as he leaves.

I glare at Cole, but he isn’t looking at me. He’s staring at where the man walked out. Jayden finishes, and we also walk out. A blast of cold air takes my breath away. I’m walking slightly behind the men, trying to cling to the warmth a minute longer.

Suddenly a hand squeezes my shoulder. I turn to see the man again. He must have waited for us to walk out. “You okay, baby?” His grip is harsh and his strong cologne fills my nose. “I can treat a pretty thing like you better than that asshole.”

I’m ripped away, and before I can process it, all I see is Jayden’s black shirt. He speed-walks me back to the truck and practically tosses me and my clothes in. He starts the truck and takes off.

“Wait,” I look out the back. He left Cole. We tear out of the lot.

I look at Jayden. There’s a level of anger on his face that scares me. He looks ready to kill. We fly down the road. I notice a small sedan with dim lights right behind us. Did he think I tried to pass a message to the man?

I shake. This is it. This is where they hurt me.

“Did he hurt you?” The words come through his gritted teeth.

“What? No.”

He drives in charged silence. I see the vein on his neck pulsing. We get into the wooded area again. I turn around and see the same dim headlights.

Suddenly Jayden whips the car to the side of the road. I scramble to stay sitting up. He gets out of the truck and slams the door closed.

I also get out, seeing that the other car has stopped behind us. Cole steps out of the passenger side. He has the man from the store at gunpoint. Jayden rips the driver’s door open and yanks the man out like he weighs nothing.

“What the hell! I didn’t do nothing.” The man’s hands are in front of his face and he tries to back away. With one hand, Jayden throws him into the hood of the car and leans into him. “How dare you touch our woman.”

His voice vibrates in the dark, angry and low.

“What? I didn’t know!” The man glances at me, then between the two men. Cole has a wicked grin on his face.

“If you want the car, take it. I swear to God I didn’t know.”

Almost faster than I can register, Jayden punches him in the face. The man crumples.

“Think you can put your filthy hands on something that doesn’t belong to you?” Jayden punches him again. The man cries out.

Cole laughs.

“Stop!” I step forward, but Jayden doesn’t even turn around.

“You don’t even deserve to breathe the same air as her.” He punches him again.

I grab his arm and hold it as tight as I can. “Fucking stop! He didn’t do anything!”
