Chapter 20 Theo

Southern Spain

It was weird, I had only been to Sebastian’s country home once. But it was starting to feel like a little oasis away from worry already. I could feel my shoulders drop and my jaw unclench as I drove the borrowed Jeep Wrangler up the dusty road toward the whitewashed structure.

We only had the night together - the last few races of the season really ramped up the frequency to keep TV viewers tuning in consistently and weekly - but Sebastian had called me late after my victory and asked that I meet him here, at his house, on the Tuesday.

By Wednesday evening we would both be back in full promotion mode for the German Grand Prix.

I spotted Sebastian, in all his glory, leaning over the glass barriers that surrounded the terrace. He waved lazily as I parked up in the open garage. When I’d ascended the stairs to the living floor, Sebastian still hadn’t moved.

I walked through the living area, shedding my light jacket as I did. It was almost thirty degrees, and he’d left the big glass doors out onto the terrace open to let fresh, dry air circulate through the space.

I was still mesmerised by Sebastian in the setting sun.

On a whim, I stripped off my t-shirt and dropped it to the floor as I approached him.

He still hadn’t turned to look at me, but as soon as I was in touching distance I reached out one arm to draw my fingers down his back.

My skin never seemed to tan, and the contrast between our colours was so obvious the closer we got to summer.

Sebastian still hadn’t turned to face me, and something felt…not right. Like the ease with which we’d learned to talk to each other had been swept away and replaced with the same initial awkwardness as when we’d first stayed here together.

“Are you…are we OK?” I asked. I leaned up against the railing with him. Sebastian’s eyes flickered to mine, the colour of dark caramel as the sun filtered through them. He gave me a weak smile before he spoke.

“I need to talk to you, and I need your advice,” he said. “Because you are the only person in the world I trust to be completely honest with me.”

“Those Speedo ads were embarrassing, if that’s what you’re worried about,” I tried to joke.

Sebastian allowed himself a smile. “Don’t lie, I found them in your bedside drawer. Some of the pages were stuck together.”

I blushed. Sebastian was joking, but he’d gotten uncomfortably close to the truth. I had found those pictures ridiculously attractive, and in the wake of our Monaco skinny-dipping had entered a bit of a wank-bank rotation before I got access to the real thing.

“What’s up?” I asked after a couple of seconds of silence.

Sebastian reached for my hand and pulled me over to the outdoor furniture set.

I sat at one end, and he reclined so his head was in my lap.

With one hand, he traced anxious circles on my stomach before talking.

I stroked his hair idly, hoping that he could bring himself to speak to me about what was troubling him.

“I’ve been offered a new contract,” he said finally, still not looking me in the eye. Instead, his eyes were fixed on my stomach, like he was afraid to look directly at me. “And I’m worried it’s going to come between us.”

“You’ve not been offered my seat, have you?

” I joked, even as my stomach dropped a little.

Despite having a great few races, I knew that I only had another couple of years on my contract and Sebastian was a steal.

I could be paid off and have someone installed in my seat if the team thought it was worth it.

“Not quite,” said Sebastian. “Turns out that British Racing might be willing to relax their British drivers only rule. Max Burnham taking my seat has left them without a suitable driver, and their young academy drivers are not yet ready to step up.”

“So you’d be racing with Brooke? That’s awesome! And for a great team,” I said. “…so what’s the issue?”

“It comes with conditions. They have said that if they are to break half a century of tradition in their driver choice, I will need to perform exceptionally. I will need to win the European Tour.”

“…right.” My hand stilled in his hair. “So what do you need from me?”

“Your advice, like I said.” Sebastian said quietly.

“So you’re not asking me to throw any results?” The words slipped out of my mouth without thinking, but the effect on Sebastian was instant. He jerked out of my lap like he’d been stung.

“I would never ask you… I couldn’t ask that of you,” Sebastian said, louder now. “Please do not assume I am going to ask such a thing.”

He stood up abruptly and walked into the house. After a second, I followed him. My heart was beating hard in my chest, and I had no idea what I could do to make the situation better. To get Sebastian to just talk to me about how he was feeling. What he wanted from me.

“Sebastian?” I called. He was nowhere to be seen in the living area, so I headed back to his bedroom. He was laying in bed, one arm over his eyes.

“Lo siento Teodoro, I am sorry,” he said without moving his arm away or looking at me. “I am trying to navigate this without it impacting us, and I don’t know how to do that.”

“Well first of all, you can scooch over,” I said.

“Scooch?” said Sebastian. “I have spoken English for over twenty years, but that is a new one.”

“Just move over, give me some space,” I said.

Sebastian rolled so that his back was facing me, and I sensed that he still didn’t want to make eye contact.

I slid onto the bed behind him and gently pulled him into my arms so that I was his big spoon.

It wasn’t the way around that we usually did things, but I liked the way his body seemed to melt into mine as we lay there for minutes in silence.

“I would not ask you to allow me to win,” Sebastian said. “I hope you know that. The thought did not cross my mind.”

“Well it crossed mine,” I admitted. “And I think I would, if it came to it. If it let you keep racing.”

“I may reject the contract,” Sebastian said. “It could be easiest for us. And I would not want anything to come between what we are building together.”

“You bloody idiot,” I murmured into his hair.

I let my free hand drift down his side, and he arched into the touch as I moved it over his hip and his thin swimming shorts.

“We’ve been competing for years. For the last couple of months, we have maintained a private relationship and a professional rivalry.

I don’t know why you think we need to throw it all away now. ”

“Because I am worried you will do the wrong thing, to be kind to me,” said Sebastian. “If I turn down this contract now, we can carry on. I will support you through the American tour as a fan, or I can join one of the lesser teams and compete with the back of the pack. We have options, Teodoro.”

“And the best option for you and for me is to compete, Sebastian. You know it. It brings out the best in both of us.”

“How are you so wise for your tiny age?” Sebastian joked, and I thought I could hear the smile in his voice.

I nipped at his ear. “Because competing with you has brought me you. I can’t imagine you out of a race car, not yet. You’re the best…no, wait, second best, driver in that field. You being in second keeps me in first.”

Sebastian arched into me with a growl. “You want me to show you who’s in charge here?” he asked, voice husky. “Because I can teach you a lesson you won’t forget.”

I nipped harder at his ear, and he whined. “I thought we were both versatile?” I asked, dipping my hand into the back of his shorts and grabbing a handful of his sculpted, furry ass.

“We are. I am out of practice,” Sebastian said. “You will have to be gentler than I am with you.”

“I can be very gentle,” I whispered. I leaned back to grab the lube from the bedside drawer that I knew he kept it in before wrapping myself back around Sebastian.

His shorts were easy to pull down, but I fumbled with the zipper on mine with one hand.

He shimmied his down and off the bottom of his feet whereas mine bowled around my thighs.

I skated my fingers over his thigh before pulling his one leg upward toward his side.

“Hand here,” I directed, so he could hold his own leg, so that I could use my free hand to reach between his legs and give his rock hard cock a couple of lazy strokes.

His slit was leaking precum, so I swirled it around with one finger before drifting that finger over Sebastian’s hole.

“I swear to God, Teodoro, you were sent by the devil to ruin me,” Sebastian grumbled as I pushed at the entrance gently, hardly able to slip in with so little lubrication.

I pumped a little lube onto one finger and pushed it into my lover.

He reflexively tightened around me so that it was almost painful, so I held my finger in place and kissed the back of his neck until I felt him slowly start to relax.

I pumped it gently in and out of him for a few seconds before adding a second finger, repeating the same routine until Sebastian was totally relaxed around me and arching into my touch.

“Are you ready for me?” I whispered, nipping at his earlobe.

“Just go already,” Sebastian growled.

I slicked up my cock and knocked Sebastian’s hand out of the way so I could hold his leg up a little higher. I notched my cock against his hole and pushed in slowly, watching myself disappear into him until we were pressed, back to front.

“Is that OK?” I asked.

“Just take it slow,” was Sebastian’s reply.

“I was only going to go slow, beautiful.”

I’d had wild sex. I had dabbled with mild kinks and giving up control.

But I’d never had sex like this. We were in no rush at all, and I slid slowly in and out of Sebastian with no hurry to finish.

He stroked his cock in unison, and in between every I love you and you look so beautiful I would kiss his head, the back of his neck, nip at his ear.

And when we came apart what could have been minutes or hours later, we did it in unison, with Sebastian spilling all over the sheets.

He clenched up around me, and the added friction was enough to get me to finish inside him too.

I bit down on his shoulder as I groaned and shook through the orgasm.

“I love you,” said Sebastian after we’d been laying in silence for a while, “and I’m going to give you one hell of a fight for the European win.”

“That’s all I ask of you, Mr García.”
