Chapter 28 Over the Threshold #3
While I was distracted by their bickering, Koa pressed forward, the tip of him breaching my entrance, and the stretch was immediate, a burning pressure that wasn’t quite pain, but intense enough to make me gulp.
“Relax, beloved,” Koa instructed in a strained voice. “Relax for me.”
I tried to. Tried to make my tense muscles loosen, but I stiffened even more when he pushed through and a sharp sting surprised me. One of my hands grabbed a fistful of Casimir’s long hair and the other latched onto Zane’s shoulder as I winced.
“Breathe,” Casimir whispered against my ear. “This is the worst part. It gets better.”
“Seri?” Koa gritted out, his face a mask of concern and desire as he held still. “I can stop.”
I shook my head, focusing on my breathing just like Casimir had suggested. After a few moments, the sting faded to a dull burn, and I rocked my hips a bit, taking him a little deeper.
“So tight,” he groaned.
“I’m sorry! Is it hurting you, too?”
All three of them huffed out quiet laughs for some reason, but Koa shook his head.
“It feels incredible, not painful. Just need to be careful with you, that’s all.”
Experimentally, I angled upward, and something inside me eased, accepting him, and he slid forward a tiny bit more.
“That’s it, sweet girl,” he encouraged, his voice strained. “Let me in.”
I grimaced as he pushed harder, my fingernails sinking into Zane, who cut off Casimir’s worried medical mutterings by clapping his palm over his mouth.
“Screw the textbook, Cas! She’s right here!”
Millimeter by careful millimeter, Koa worked himself inside me, pausing whenever I whimpered, moving only when I gave some sign—a nod, a shifted hip, a soft “more”—that I was ready.
“Last little bit, beloved,” Koa whispered. “Almost all in.”
“So full,” I choked.
The sensation bordered on unbearable, yet somehow perfect, like a missing puzzle piece clicking into place.
“Focus on this, darling.” Zane’s free hand found my jewel, his long fingers working magic that made me moan. Then he leaned in and licked my navel right as Koa slid the rest of the way inside, filling me in ways that burned.
“Good girl,” Casimir murmured. “Such a good girl.”
Something inside me relished his praise and craved more of it.
“Hell, yeah, you are,” Zane purred against my belly as he eased his fingers out of my folds. “Took every inch of his huge cock, you bad bitch.”
“Is that it?” My eyebrows drew together. “It’s over already?”
As Zane howled and Casimir chuckled against my skin, Koa’s groan shook the bed.
“Just beginning, sweet Serafina. If you can bear the pain, I’ll show you.”
“It’s not so bad now,” I promised, lifting my hand to cup his cheek. “Go ahead.”
Trusting I was telling the truth, he began to move, and it wasn’t awkward at all.
It was the tide pulling moonward. His eyes never leaving mine, his hands slid under my knees, lifting and spreading my legs a bit wider.
The new angle allowed him to go even deeper, and I cried out at a sudden shock of pleasure.
“There, Ko,” Zane smirked. “Hit that spot again.”
Koa adjusted a bit, and the same shock made me cry out again.
Casimir and Zane ground themselves against my hips, rubbing against me in time with Koa’s increasingly forceful strokes.
I didn’t know when they had lost their boxers, but the sight of them pleasuring themselves while watching Koa claim me should have shocked me, and maybe would have before today, but now it only aroused me more.
Instinct took over at some point, and I found myself lifting to meet Koa’s thrusts, chasing the building pressure inside me.
As he became more insistent, Casimir and Zane picked up speed, too, and all I knew now was slick heat and clinging hands.
Koa’s grip on my knees tilted me wide open in a way that should have embarrassed me, but only made my moan louder.
“Faster, Ko!” Zane rasped against my damp skin, his teeth scraping my collarbone.
“Let him pace it, bossy ass!” Casimir growled around my nipple.
“Oh, shit!” Zane jerked against my right side as something hot smeared across my hip, his curses dissolving into nonsensical praise. On my left, Casimir’s face contorted into a silent snarl as he, too, painted my skin with wet heat.
Seconds later, Koa’s rhythm fell apart as his fingers dug into my thighs.
“Sorry, baby, but I need—”
“Anything.” The plea tore from me, raw and unashamed. “Take anything!”
He pushed my knees nearly to the mattress as he curled my lower half up to meet him, and each of his hard, fast thrusts sent me higher, closer to that peak I now recognized, but couldn’t quite reach.
He threw his head back with a roar, the strong column of his neck and the muscles of his arms cording as he drove into me one final time.
“Serafina.”
When he stilled, I whimpered in frustration, my body wound tight. Then Casimir’s fingers found my jewel and massaged it until I shattered with a scream, clamped tight around Koa as waves of pleasure washed over me.
“Bat’s bones, bro,” Zane breathed, sounding awed. “Look at her pussy sucking you!”
Above me, Koa panted, his dark eyes watching me.
When my body finally went limp, he leaned down to sprinkle tender kisses on my forehead, my cheeks, my lips, gentle, reverent touches that fed my soul.
When he carefully withdrew, I winced at the loss and the soreness that instantly made itself known.
“Don’t want to crush you.” He rolled us onto our sides, keeping me cradled against his chest as he crowded against Zane. “Move over, fireweed.”
As Zane muttered and gave him a half-hearted swat, I trembled and tried to catch my breath, oddly proud of the tears that streamed from the corners of my eyes.
Not tears of pain, well, not entirely, but of overwhelming emotion.
Love and connection poured through our blended mate-beloved bond, wrapping around me like the warmest, softest blanket.
“Think you broke her, brother.” Zane peeped at me over Koa’s shoulder.
“Seri, are you all right?” Casimir murmured into the back of my neck.
“Marvelous.” The word slipped out dreamy and dazed. Three pairs of eyes locked on my surely scarlet face. “I mean… I wasn’t… That was…”
“Eloquent as always.” Koa’s lips quivered against my forehead.
Zane rested his chin on Koa’s shoulder, mischief dancing in his gingerbread eyes, but a pillow to the face silenced him before he opened his mouth.
As he and Casimir squabbled halfheartedly, I traced the scar along Koa’s jaw, and his breath stalled when my fingertips skated up to the corner of his mouth.
“I love you, Koko.” It was the first time I’d said it aloud to him, although I’d felt it growing in my heart since the day we’d met.
His throat worked soundlessly before he captured my wandering hand and held it over the frantic drumbeat under his ribs.
“Serafina,” he breathed against my lips. “You are my heart’s delight, the answer to a prayer I never knew I had the right to utter.”
Zane fake-retched.
“Leave the poetry to Rumi, lover boy. Still, not bad for your first fuck, bro.”
“Ignore him, Seri.” Casimir’s sigh gusted across my nape as his fingers carded through my tangled curls. “You did beautifully, my love.”
The emotional tidal wave crashing through our bond made my tears flow faster. I felt their satisfaction, their tenderness, their fierce protectiveness all mingling with my own swirling emotions.
“You’re crying.” Koa’s thumb gently wiped away a tear. “Did I hurt you that much?”
“No. It’s…” I struggled to find words for what I was feeling. “Overwhelming, in a good way.”
“You were perfect.” His arms tightened around me as he kissed my temple. “Perfect, sweet girl.”
“Our wife,” Zane added, his usual brashness softened by something like amazement as he reached over Koa to trace the curve of my hip. “I still can’t believe you’re really ours.”
“Same,” I whispered, floating on the impossible rightness humming through my bond with these men.
These fierce, flawed men. My men.
Now and forever I was theirs, and they were mine, and nothing else had ever felt so right.
