Chapter 29 Wildfire Between Us #2

“Nah. Don’t wake her.” I dragged the sheet over her sticky thighs, shielding her from his fussing. “If she wakes hungry,” my smirk returned full force, “you can taste us on her, Cas.”

Pillows rained down. I caught one mid-air, tucking it beneath Seri’s lolling head. Her fingers twitched against my chest, seeking even in dreams. I kissed the worry lines from her brow and drifted off to the sound of her slowing heartbeat and hushed arguing over antibacterial wipes and pH balances.

Casimir

“Simmy?”

The whispered word sliced through the darkness, severing the chains of sleep.

Instinctually, my hand shot out, groping for the gun on my bedside table, while my other arm reached for Seri.

My eyes flew open, the world snapping into focus.

Moonlight carved a silver sliver through the curtains, illuminating our bedroom and the tangled mess of limbs in the bed.

Seri was tucked between Zane and Koa, her wide gray eyes glistening with unshed tears, her face a painting of anguish.

“Simmy, it hurts,” she whimpered.

Adrenaline spiked like a blade between my ribs. I vaulted upright, sheets pooling at my waist, and cursed myself for not tending to her sooner. Koa had her virginity mere hours ago, and Zane? Well, Zane was Zane, taking her like a wild animal.

Then we’d left her dripping between Ko and Z, sweat and semen cooling on her skin.

Stupid. Reckless.

“Damnation!”

“What?” Ko stirred, raven hair tangled across his face.

I ignored him, disentangling Seri’s legs from Zane’s careless sprawl. Her nightie had vanished hours ago, leaving her bare except for the marks we’d painted on her. She hissed when my arm slid beneath her knees, and I quickly scooped her up to cradle her against my bare chest.

“Shh, I’ve got you, my love. Let’s get you cleaned up,” I murmured, already planning a warm shower followed by a soothing soak in the tub. Her heartbeat fluttered against my chest, rapid as a cornered hare’s, and guilt flooded me. “Should’ve cared for you properly after—”

Her fingers pressed my lips.

“It hurts, but not from pain. I ache for you, Simmy.”

Every muscle locked. My boxers strained as she shifted, her thigh brushing what I’d been ignoring.

“Your body’s recovering,” I said through gritted teeth. Pulse points throbbed at my neck, wrists, and groin. “The siphoning weakened you, and Zane wasn’t gentle.”

She cupped my jaw.

“But I need—”

“The bond’s clouding your judgement.” My grip tightened on her hip. Don’t think about how soft her skin is. Don’t picture her writhing under you. “When I say you’re not ready, you’re not—”

Her mouth sealed over mine. Sweet. Slow. A torturous glide of tongue that unraveled every shred of discipline. Logic disintegrated.

Check if she’s swollen. Ensure she’s not hurt. Make sure there’s no tearing.

Bleeding night, the thought of examining her so intimately both terrified and aroused me.

Then her nails scraped my scalp, and my hips jerked, pressing the rigid line of my erection against her thigh.

A chuckle rumbled behind me.

“Told you he’d crack,” Zane drawled.

Seri pulled back, lips glistening.

“Please, Simmy.”

Control. Strategy. Compartmentalize.

My cadence faltered as I laid her down. Her sprawled body was a landscape of soft curves and shadows that begged to be explored.

She stretched languidly, her back arching like a cat ready to be petted, and I was suddenly, desperately, parched.

My mouth watered at the sight of her, at the tiny fingerprint bruises Koa left on her hips, the faint marks on her thighs from Zane’s eager grip, and the brand of hunger I left on her breast. Her body was a map of our shared passion, and I was on fire to chart new territories.

“Tomorrow,” I tried, knuckles whitening on the mattress.

Tears brimmed in her eyes.

“Cas,” Koa sat up, brows knit, “if she—”

“Three strokes,” Zane interrupted, lacing his hands behind his head. “Four, max. Then you can fuss over her bathwater all night.”

“You don’t want me?” she whispered.

Something snapped.

My boxers hit the floor.

Zane whistled. Koa’s choked cough might’ve been a laugh. Seri’s gaze dropped, her parted lips mirroring the slick heat I knew gleamed between her thighs.

“Does this,” I gripped myself, veins throbbing under my palm, “look like disinterest?”

“Cruor, Cas!” Zane groaned. “Stop lecturing and fuck her.”

Control yourself, I chanted silently, flipping her onto her stomach.

I’d hoped I’d be able to maintain more discipline in this position, but seeing her ass tilted up, pale as the moon, only made me harder, hungrier. My thumb traced between her cheeks, and she moaned into the sheets.

“You know, in that position, I could always slip my tip between her lips—”

“It’s my turn, Zane.” I snarled. “Mine.”

“Really?” Koa raised an eyebrow, a faint smile playing on his lips. “Because I seem to remember both of you getting quite involved during my turn.”

“This isn’t up for a moon-damned vote!”

“Simmy?” A sob shattered the argument. Seri’s hips writhed, desperate. “Please, it aches—”

Curses burned my tongue. I knelt behind her, spreading her thighs. Her folds glistened, swollen and flushed. I slid my middle and ring fingers into her, crooking upward, and she screamed.

“Shit, did you break her?” Zane bolted upright.

“Quiet,” I barked, massaging her clit with my index finger. Her breasts swayed as she fucked herself on my hand. “That’s it, my love. Take what you need.”

Hopefully, this will satisfy her. I don’t have enough control right now. I’ll hurt her—

She clenched around my fingers as she came with a harsh cry. When I pulled my hand away, her whimper nearly broke me.

“Please,” she gasped, tears tracking silver down her cheeks. “I need you, Simmy!”

My dick turned to steel.

Plan. Strategic.

The nightlight caught the slick sheen between her thighs as I spread her wider, and my battle plans crumbled to ash. My hand shook around my dick, guiding it through drenched folds that clung like molten silk.

Careful. Go slow. She’s—

Her vagina swallowed me whole on my first thrust. A strangled groan tore from my throat as her walls convulsed, her raw hunger sucking me deeper.

“Bleeding night, look at that grip!” Zane’s whistle sliced through the haze.

“Cas.” Koa’s voice held an edge. “She’s weak—”

Grunting, I arced over her, every snap of my hips carving her moans into the air. Her body became my battlefield, every gasp a victory, each shuddering breath a surrender. I pounded into her with a brutality that terrified me, but this wildfire between us needed to burn.

“Casimir!”

“Chill, Ko.” Zane’s hand slid between her legs. “She’s dripping. Taking him like a porn star.”

When her arms gave out, I seized both wrists in one hand, pinning them high above her head as my other arm banded across her ribs. The new angle made her scream into the mattress, her thighs trembling violently against mine.

“Look at her,” Zane breathed. “Fucking drowning in it.”

My vision blurred at the edges, reduced to pure need.

The headboard slammed against the wall in time with my thrusts, broken wood cracking like gunfire as I got lost in her, in the sensation of her body yielding to mine, in the immaculate pleasure only my beloved could provide.

Some distant part of me parsed her harsh moans, but the rest of me focused on the vise of her body leading me toward ruin, snarls tearing from my throat as I pistoned faster, harder, deeper.

“Still with me?” I rasped against her damp skin.

Her answer came as a broken keen, and the wet slap of flesh grew obscenely loud as I abandoned rhythm for raw need. Each cry pitched higher until she froze mid-scream, back bowing as her walls tightened around me.

My pace turned feral, and I came with a roar that shook the bed, hips stuttering as I emptied myself in hot pulses she greedily took. Collapsing against her slick back, I counted five heartbeats before reality returned, and sobs hit my ears.

Panic surged through me as I pulled out of her, my heart lodged in my throat even as arousal still throbbed through my veins.

“Seri, I’m sorry,” I choked out, trying to roll her over before realizing I’d collapsed on top of her. “I’m so sorry, my love. I lost control. I didn’t mean to!”

She trembled beneath me, her breath hitching in aftershocks while my fingertips skimmed her swollen folds, feeling for damage.

“Congrats on lasting longer than me.” Zane’s palm smacked my ass cheek hard enough to sting.

“You still alive down there, sweet girl?” Koa’s hand appeared in my periphery, gently checking Seri’s pulse at her throat.

Her weak giggle flooded me with relief until Zane tried to peel her out from under me.

“Don’t.” My arms caged her tighter.

“Cas.” Koa’s hand moved to my shoulder blade. “We need to take care of her.”

The possessive growl surprised me. Rolling his eyes, Zane raised both hands in mock surrender while Ko sighed.

“Brother,” he murmured, “we’re not taking her from you. We’re just taking her to the shower.”

I yielded to the wisdom of that, but paused to snap on the lamp and examine her again. She was swollen and red, but only remnants of virginal blood mingled with our semen. No shredded tissue, no active bleeding.

Thank the night.

Then she whimpered as my hand left her folds, and I panicked.

“Where does it hurt the most? Inside? Outside? Seri, where—”

“Casimir. She’s fine.” Ko’s voice, soft and soothing. “She’s just overwhelmed.”

“Never thought you’d go rhino mode.” Z’s voice, snarky and brash. “Definitely gave her the full horn. And an orgasm sans clit play? Teach me your ways, oh great—”

“Stop it.” My bark made Seri flinch. “I could’ve torn her or—”

“She wasn’t complaining when she was screaming your name,” Zane smirked. “She loved every second of it.”

“It’s not pain, Cas,” Ko murmured. “You just gave her too much pleasure too fast.”

It was only her yawn against my collarbone that had me convinced she wasn’t in pain. I still refused to let anyone else carry her. Her sleepy smile as she nuzzled into my chest almost made up for Zane’s relentless commentary about installing shock absorbers on the bed frame.

Definitely need a new headboard, though.

As I held her under the warm spray, she cuddled into me, face tear-streaked, limbs boneless.

Then pink-tinged streaks ran down her thighs, proof of my failure to protect even this, and again I turned into a tower of self-recrimination, castigating myself for letting my base desires override my good sense.

“Stop.” Zane gripped my jaw when I reached to examine her again. His smirk softened as he pressed my palm over Seri’s heart instead. “She’s glowing, you idiot.”

“You didn’t hurt her or scare her,” Koa reassured me again.

“But she won’t be able to walk tomorrow.” Z squirted vanilla body wash into his palm.

“You’ll carry me if not,” she mumbled, eyes closed.

“Damn right we will,” I whispered into her curls.

Then her lips brushed my throat, soft as down, followed by drowsy words that stalled my heart one more time tonight.

“Love you, Simmy. My Simmy.”

The corners of my mouth twitched. Koa’s chuckle rumbled as he washed her. I leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

“I love you, too.”

Then a little snore slipped out as her head lolled, and Zane laughed like a hyena.

“Congrats, bro. You fucked her consciousness to the shadow realm.”

“Shut up.” I shot him a look, but this time with a hint of amusement.

Later, wrapped in terry cloth, we navigated to her room since none of us had any reserves to change the sheets on our bed. Brumous raised his shaggy head from the duvet, blue eyes tracking our shuffling procession.

“Move over, Brummy.” Zane slid the pup to the foot of the bed. “Ain’t gonna be enough room for all of us as it is.”

“California kings for every bedroom in this wing,” I murmured.

“While we’re upgrading, add a hot tub to the list,” Ko said on a yawn.

Seri was out before her head hit the pillows, Brumous’ tail thumping against my leg as I settled in next to her. Crawling in on her other side, Zane traced the suck mark on her breast, my claim among my brothers’.

Surprisingly serious, he said, “It was worth the wait, you know. Losing our virginity with our beloved. We really are—”

“Ruined for anyone else,” I finished.

“The poets never mention this part.” Ko reached around Z to hold her hip.

“What part?” Zane yawned into her damp hair.

“After the storm. When the battlefield’s quiet.”

Zane’s snort made Brumous lick my exposed foot, and I quickly tucked it under the duvet.

“Can’t wait until she discovers reverse cow—”

I smashed a pillow into his face.

Smiling in her sleep, Seri snuggled closer.
