CHAPTER 9
After one month,
There was a deadly silence in the living room of the Rawat mansion. Everyone was shocked, as Shaurya's father has announced Shaurya's marriage with Prisha after one week.
Shaurya gritted his teeth in anger, he couldn’t believe Prisha had agreed to this marriage despite his warnings. He took a deep breath to calm himself, he thinks angrily,"You have invited trouble yourself, Prisha Sharma. I will snatch your happiness, your peace............everything."
“But why so suddenly?” Shaurya’s mother asked, confused.
“Your son likes Prisha and wants to marry her. He has already agreed,” Shaurya’s father said with a smirk, looking at his son. Shaurya didn't say anything, he angrily walked to his room as he couldn't say no to this marriage because of his father's blackmailing.
Tina was shocked, she couldn't believe that Shaurya liked Prisha. She was not his type. She approached Shaurya and demanded, “What’s going on? How can you marry, Prisha? She is my sister, if you are doing this for revenge."
Shaurya ignored her, and walked out of the house. Furious, he drove to a bar to calm himself. As he poured another drink, he envisioned Prisha laughing at his foolishness. Soon, she would be his wife, and he felt powerless to stop it. How could he have been so stupid to think she would refuse to marriage him? He convinced himself ," Shaurya, you are so stupid. It was all part of her plan, just like her sister—a gold digger. Now, her plan worked. She is going to be daughter-in-law of Rawat."
He hurled his glass against the wall, watching it shatter. “Prisha, you’ve made a grave mistake. You played with fire, and I will shatter your life just like these glass pieces. You’ll regret this. Just wait and watch!"
Prisha's house,
Prisha was standing in her balcony, gazing at the stars when Tina stormed into her room, fuming. “Why did you say yes to the marriage?” she asked angrily.
“Di, I...” Before Prisha could explain, Tina slapped her. “Did you seduce him? I don’t understand why he agreed to this marriage. You are not his type.”
Tina’s voice turned dangerous. “Don’t think too highly of yourself. He’s only marrying you to make me jealous, to take revenge because I married his brother. So, you better say no to this marriage. He’s just using you, and once he’s done, he’ll discard you like a used tissue.” Tina was furious. Ever since realizing Rakesh’s true nature, she had been planning to manipulate Shaurya into taking her back. But, with his marriage with Prisha, it would be impossible for her to go back with Shaurya.
Prisha was stunned by her sister’s words. Even though she didn’t want to marry Shaurya, still Tina had no right to interfere. After all, Tina was now Rakesh’s wife and had nothing to do with Shaurya. Composing herself, Prisha said calmly, “I’m sorry di, I can’t say no to this marriage.”
Tina gritted her teeth, ready to argue, but their mother entered, surprised she asked,“Tina, you’re here at this time?”
“Mom, I heard about my little sister’s marriage. I couldn’t wait. I was so excited, my sister is going to stay with me,” Tina said with a fake smile. She hugged Prisha, whispering in her ear, “You’re making the biggest mistake of your life by marrying him. You’re jumping into hell, and I’ll enjoy watching you suffer. Because, even after my warning, you are not saying no for this marriage."
Prisha was shocked by Tina’s behavior but said nothing, not wanting to upset their mother. Their mother smiled, pleased to see her daughters together. “Tina, stay for dinner,” she said. Tina nodded, following her mother out of the room while Prisha was standing, still in shocked by Tina's behavior.
