Chapter 13

Miguel

Something hard pressing into my head has me shifting awake, attempting to adjust my eyes to the bright light. There's something weighing me down, keeping my back flat on the bed. Marcus is sitting on top of me with a gun in his hand and the rumpled version of him becomes clearer after my eyes fully blink open. His lips are swollen, and his hair is strewed, falling in every direction, appearing as though he was thoroughly fucked. I'm eager to get more than my tongue and fingers inside him this time around. “Morning, precious.”

“Hardly. You only took a short nap. You actually think I’d let you spend the night. That isn’t what this is, and I won’t change my mind.”

“You keep saying that. Eventually you’ll grow tired of holding up those walls of yours. What goes up, must come down.”

“You can keep telling yourself whatever you need to help you sleep at night.”

“Is that an invitation to stay? It must be lonely being in such a large house with so many empty rooms.”

“The house is rarely ever empty. People come in and out of it all day long.”

“That's not what I mean, and you know it.”

He groans, sliding lower until his cock is rubbing over mine. “Listen, this is what's going to happen next. You are going to lie still and I’m going to fuck myself on your cock, and today I’ll be the one to decide if you get to come or not. Not the other way around.”

I laugh, shaking my head. “I don’t think so, precious.”

“Either we play by my rules, or you leave right now. No more kissing and no fucking touching me unless I ask. Got it?”

“Maybe we can compromise here.”

He cocks the gun. “I said, do you fucking got it?”

“Okay.” This is what he needs so I’ll give it to him, whatever it takes to earn his trust again. I’ve never been the one giving up all the control before, but for Marcus, I’d spend the rest of my days on my knees if it keeps me in his bed.

“Keep your hands above your head or I’ll tie them down. I won’t be gentle either.”

I wouldn't want him to be.

He snaps his fingers, grabbing my full attention. “One wrong move and this all ends.”

“Yes, sir,” I say, grinning. “Are you going to keep holding that gun to my head?”

“I haven't decided yet and if I were you, I'd stop talking. Toys don’t talk and that’s the role you're playing tonight. Not a single sound.” Marcus closes his eyes, pretending I'm nothing and nobody helps him keep me at a farther distance from his heart. I know, because there had been many moments in the beginning I did the same, hoping I would be able to end it before Julia found out. Before it became too dangerous. I was never supposed to love him, but now it's all I know how to do.

He lines his hole with my cock and slowly slides down it, rocking back and forth. His hole is wet and dripping. “Fuck,” he says between shuttered breaths, sinking lower until he’s bottoming out. “Ohh…” He lifts himself up before slamming back down, moaning, and shaking.

His gun presses to the headboard and he steadies himself while bouncing up and down on my cock. It kills me not to touch him. Judging by the way he’s grinning, he knows exactly what he's doing to me.

He touches himself, letting me know what I'm missing out on as he rolls each one of his nipples between his fingers. Laughter falls from his lips as he uses me to chase his own pleasure, the joyful sound turning into soft moans. The tightness and warmth of his hole is overwhelming, and I resist the urge to buck my hips.

This isn’t about me. It’s not even about us. This is him releasing his anger, working through his resentment and pain. My way of giving him what he needs. He rides me faster, skin slapping against skin. Our ragged breaths fill the room and his chest glistens with sweat. His bottom lip slips between his teeth, taunting me, begging me to claim it.

No kissing.

His nipples are hard and so close to my mouth as he leans down, unable to steady himself.

No touching.

He nibbles at my neck, swiping his tongue over my itchy skin. I bite back a groan.

No making a sound.

As much as I hate the rules, it would burden me more to leave. I’ll have to go eventually but at least I’ll have this moment to take back with me. One I can relive over and over while I lie alone in bed in a cold, empty hotel room.

He convulses and I go tense, holding back my orgasm, my cock throbbing. The pressure in my balls is overwhelming the longer I deny myself release. Nothing turns me on more than watching him come apart from me buried inside him. With his eyes half lidded and face completely flushed, he arches his back, fucking himself on my cock until his warm cum covers my skin. Not once did he touch himself. Whether he meant to or not, he still gave me something tonight—his pleasure.

He collapses on top of me, our slick bodies still connected together with my cock softening inside him. He pulls himself off my body, rolling onto his back next to me. Reaching his hand out toward his nightstand, he grabs a few tissues and tosses them my way. “You can go now.”

I open my mouth and he clicks his tongue. “When I said no talking, I meant it. Grab your clothes and get the fuck out. I’ll tell my men it was all a misunderstanding and nothing more than a game we were playing. I’ll make sure they say nothing about it to anyone, not even Germo, and no I’m not doing this for you. Isaiah is like a son to me, I don’t want his father’s death to be on my hands, not unless you give me no choice.”

I slowly crawl off the bed, and search for my underwear. Luckily they aren’t too far away from my pants and shirt. His eyes remain on the ceiling the whole time I get dressed. I take my time sliding on each piece of clothing, wondering when he’d raise his gun again, and tell me to move faster. He never does. I shove my feet into my shoes and head for the door, stopping midway when he says my name.

"Miguel, if you truly want to help take these men down then come by my office tomorrow afternoon. I'll be at Club Rio. I'm sure you'll figure out which location. I’ll let my men know I’m expecting you. Try not to knock anyone out or shove them in the trunk of pedestrian’s cars on your way inside."

I nod, smiling to myself. Still not saying anything, I start moving again, unable to stop the giddiness from taking over. Him wanting to work together is a step in the right direction, an opportunity to be back in his good graces. Hopefully it would also land me in his bed again with him being the one underneath me, begging to come at my command.

Just a little longer.

My phone goes off when I get in my car. Alberto starts the engine right away and pulls onto the road. I gesture for him to drive around for a bit in case anyone has been following us. I answer the call, disappointed when the voice on the other end isn't the one I'm desperate to hear. I only just left him minutes ago, but it already feels like a lifetime.

"Hola?"

"Miguel." Able's voice is laced with worry.

"Que pasa?"

"Mario is getting closer. He's currently in Kansas City, biding his time it appears. I've contacted a few friends. Men who could use a few favors in return." Nothing comes for free. Sometimes the price is higher than it’s worth.

"I have a feeling there's a but coming."

"Nothing gets past you, does it?"

"What is it?"

"Del Rae has already convinced many of them to switch sides and he hasn't been working alone. I found out who told Del Rae about what you and your boys did. Turns out Santana wasn't the one after all."

"Who was it?"

"Marisella, Julia's sister. She's been having her men follow your boys for a while now. She's been keeping track of you this whole time, looking for anything she can to use against you. She could be Mario's anonymous tipper as well."

My eyes widen. "Why? She hated her sister almost as much as she hated her father. She should be glad they're both rotting underground."

"It isn't about who you killed, it's about what you took. She thinks everything you have belongs to her family. You aren't a Juventino by blood."

"Maybe not, but Mateo is, and he belongs in my place way more than that bitch or her sons do. She really thinks she can handle what I do, or does she expect her banker son to figure it out overnight, or maybe the one who recently became a priest." I throw my head back laughing. Able's teeth grind together, and I know how much he hates it when I bring up my youngest nephew by marriage. He's always had a sweet spot for the kid.

"I don't think she ever considered your son as part of the family either and you know Alejo has nothing to do with this. He turned his back on his family years ago."

"Don't worry, no harm will come to your little priest. I know this is all my sister-in-law’s doing and that stupid husband of hers has been filling her head with bullshit for years."

He sighs. "These men will use any leverage they have. She's nothing more than a pawn in their game. You really think they'd let her walk away with everything if they win?" He huffs. "She forgets, it's not just you they want to ruin, all these other players in the game have been trying to get all of the Juventinos out of the picture for years."

"We have to make sure she goes first then. Shouldn't be too hard. There's a reason she wasn't her father's favorite daughter and why I was chosen over her good for nothing husband. She isn't the brightest crayon in the box, and he isn't any better."

"You're right, which is why Gabriel already has her exactly where he wants her. Mateo said he's suddenly feeling well enough for a family reunion."

"Good. My son is well then?"

"Well enough to take down all the people who tried to kill him."

"Revenge is usually the perfect motivator. Help my son take that bitch down and when she's dead, mail her body in pieces to each one of Del Rae's clubs."

"Consider it done, boss. This is nowhere near being over. Not sure it will ever stop."

"Then we will keep going until it does."

I hang up the phone, and instead of going to the hotel as originally planned, I decide to pay my son a visit. No doubt someone has already figured out where I last booked a room. Finding one of us alone makes things too easy for them, so I'll make sure they never do.
