Chapter 9 Noah #2
Rising back up, he tilts my chin over his shoulder so his mouth grazes mine. Just as I lean in for a taste, he backs up just enough out of my reach. I feel foolish and deeply turned on by the way he denies me.
“You ass.” I narrow my eyes.
Amusement glints in his eyes as a teasing smile curves his mouth. “You want it?”
He leans in again, close enough that I swear I can taste him—and I tell myself I won’t fall for it this time. But his lips look so damn tempting. Wet. Waiting.
Then he pulls back, dodging me again.
A sound nearly slips from my throat, something embarrassingly close to a whine, but I bite my lip and swallow it down instead.
“Beg for it,” he murmurs, voice dripping in lust.
“Kiss me…please.” I cave instantly. Pressure is building quickly and I want to feel his lips on mine before I blow.
He shakes his head, his nose softly brushing on mine. Suddenly, he bats my hand off of my dick and exchanges my hand for his. As soon as I feel his firm grip, my whole body reacts. My nerves feel like a damn fireworks show. I throw my head back, letting out a gasp in desperation.
“Brad, come on. Kiss me. Please.” A choked cry leaves my lips. I’m surprised by the way I sound but I’m instantly soothed as his one hand wraps around my neck, pulling me in to lock his lips with mine.
There he is.
I feel my legs shake as the pleasure climbs up my back.
Detaching his lips from mine, he licks a long pathway up my neck, hungry for my skin.
“Yes, fuck—” I cry, feeling the familiar twinge of an impending orgasm.
“I’m going to have to stuff your mouth again, aren’t I?” he asks gruffly. I nod my head excitedly, at the thought of him inside of me, but instead of his cock, my mouth is filled by his fingers sliding in and out.
“Mmmm,” I murmur around his thick digits as he continues to jerk me. I grip his forearm and hold on for dear life.
Taken over by lust, Brad hurriedly nudges my legs apart. Stuffing his hard cock between my thighs, I pinch my legs tightly together as he rocks in time with my swinging hips.
“That’s it, Noah. Make us come—”
All of a sudden, as though we’re dumped into an ice cold bath, we hear a storm of men’s voices enter the shower area.
Brad and I still, the hand around my neck immediately shifting to cover my mouth. My heart lodges in my throat as we listen. It sounds like four or five young men, shuffling and joking around.
Brad sadly slips out from between my legs and unwraps his hand from around my aching dick.
This amount of edging cannot be healthy.
We stand there for a moment longer, waiting for a sign they’re all shut away in their own stalls.
“Okay, I think we’re in the clear.” Brad whispers in my ear.
I nod in agreement and we make a move for it. I don’t necessarily care whether or not a group of strangers see us walk out of the same shower stall, however, out of respect for a very confused Brad, it’s best if we don’t draw attention.
We turn off the shower and quietly make our way to our clothes.
I lightly push him off balance and he stumbles into the wall, making him laugh.
He exaggerates a shushing motion which only makes me bite my tongue harder to keep from laughing too loud.
He hurriedly dries off, not doing as well at it as he probably would’ve if we weren’t rushing.
I slip on my shorts, omitting a shirt and Brad does the same thing.
The sun is so hot out there that I’ll probably dry off in minutes, anyway.
The men are still talking over the stalls about some sort of plans they’ve got for tonight so we take this opportunity to quietly slip out.
“Me? That was all your fault.” I laugh, stepping backward. “You were the one who—”
“Shit, watch out!” Brad lunges, hands gripping my shoulders just in time to stop me from crashing into whatever’s behind me.
“Oh! Sorry,” I apologize.
I turn to see two young women, around my age. My eyebrows shoot up the moment I realize, I know one of them. Very well. They’re coming out the women's side, dressed in bikini tops and short shorts, carrying a couple washroom bags tucked under their arms.
“Oh my gosh! Noah?!” One of them, I know as Dakota, smiles brightly, her brown eyes jumping back and forth between both of us.
“Dakota! Holy…shit, what are you doing here?” I let out an awkward laugh, scratching the back of my neck.
I glance at Brad and am shocked to see him avoiding their eyes. Does he find them attractive? Would I care if he did? Anyone with eyes could see they’re beautiful.
“Dakota and I used to go to high school together,” I explain.
Brad nods his head slowly, following along.
“Used to go to school together,” Dakota teases, a smirk tugging at her lips. “Noah, you’ve always been such a jokester.” She laughs, shaking her head. “Did you two just get here? We haven’t seen you around.”
Her eyes wander slowly down our wet bodies, taking in the scene.
Dakota and I lost touch after high school, but it’s clear she’s grown into a striking woman.
Her legs seem to stretch forever, with tan skin warm, bronzed, and radiant.
Her long black hair flows down to her waist, some strands braided with beads at the ends.
Tiny, delicate tattoos snake up and down her arms, small details she’s added since we were fifteen.
Honestly, she looks just my type.
And yet…
“We came up yesterday. Kind of been doing our own thing out here.” I shrug.
The other girl laughs. “Yeah, the outdoors are great for that.” She’s shorter with long blonde hair. Her eyes flicker over to Brad. “But they’re even better when you’ve got good company.”
“Yeah,” Brad laughs nervously. “Well, we better get going—”
“Oh, I’m so rude.” Dakota gasps. “I’m Dakota, and this is my cousin Jodie.” She smiles, tucking her hair behind her ear. “We go portaging here every summer for two weeks. Kind of turned into a tradition.”
“Two weeks?” I stare, struggling to imagine living out here in the wilderness for so long. “Bet you could get into some crazy adventures out here.” I nod, thinking it over.
“With this bunch? Oh, you have no idea.” Her mouth quirks up at the side. “Why don’t you guys join us for a bit? We’re heading up to Devil’s Ledge soon. We’re going to do some cliff jumping.”
Brad scoffs. “Ah, would love to. But can’t.” His hand rests on my shoulder. “I’m responsible for getting this guy back home in one piece.”
I’m not too sure why but the way he said that twists my stomach.
“Oh! I’m sorry, are you two—”
“Step-dad,” he blurts out before she can even finish her sentence.
The label slaps me harder than I expect.
My brows furrow as I look at him. “Oh, yeah?”
He shushes me and returns his attention back to the girls.
My jaw tenses as I look away. After what we just did together, that’s the last thing I would’ve expected him to say.
Hell, even calling himself a friend would’ve been more than fine.
Dakota tenses. I can feel her energy shift which makes me feel even more uncomfortable. “I didn’t realize your mom was getting re-married…”
I look away, wanting to avoid the topic all together.
“That’s so cute! Little Daddy, son, getaway weekend.” Jodie coos.
I give her a forced smile. “Yeah, just the best Daddy in the world.”
“Knock it off,” Brad mutters to me through gritted teeth.
“It’s nice you two get along. Do you two love to do stuff together?” Dakota asks, pep back in her tone.
You know what? Let’s milk it.
“Oh yeah. We love doing stuff together. We can’t get enough of each other really—”
A sharp pinch stings the back of my arm. “Ow!” I wince.
“You’re being weird. Stop it.” Brad mutters quietly, even though I’m sure the girls can hear every word. His gaze darts away from me like he’s too scared to even look at me for too long.
Dakota coughs awkwardly, breaking up the tension. “Well, if you two want to join us, we’ll be at the little fork in the woods right when you drive in a couple of minutes. We’re just waiting on the rest of our group.” She points behind us.
Right, that would explain the guys we heard.
“Oh, I’ll be there.” I nod.
I can feel Brad stiffen beside me. “Noah…”
“You can come or you can stay back at the camp site, Step-dad. Your choice.” I shrug.
His eyes narrow as he racks my face. “I’ll come. Someone has to watch you.”
I smile back at the girls who excitedly clap their hands. “Perfect! See you soon.” Dakota waves at me before walking off.
“See you soon,” I twiddle my fingers as they giggle back to their campsite arm in arm.
“Oh, you’re in so much trouble…” Brad grumbles beside me.
I smirk. “I’m counting on it.”
