Chapter 26 Unicorn Central #3
Again she was hit with a mixture of lust and vexation.
He was so smart and so sexy at the same time.
It almost made her angry. “You know what, I don’t need you for this.
” She forced herself to pull back from his hand—or tried to.
She was pinned between his arm along her front and his entire body along her back.
Her arms were free, though, so she sent one hand down to join his, trying to bat him away. “I can do a peachy job all by myself.”
“Peachy,” he said with a chuckle. “There you go.” His fingers started moving again, and it was both soothing and torturous.
She moaned and tried to hold on to enough sense to keep talking. “You reject sublime but you like peachy?”
“Yes.” He gently bit her earlobe. “Peachy for the cherry girl. It’s perfect.”
The other thing that was perfect was the way he kept a continuous pressure and pattern going with his fingers, even as his own breath started coming more shallowly.
Blair didn’t have an army of past sexual partners, given that she’d gotten together with Reggie so young, but in her experience, most men couldn’t help but ramp things up in terms of speed and pressure.
Jack, though, seemed to understand instinctively what was called for, and more importantly, he had the discipline to deliver it.
“Jack,” she gasped, and she was suddenly a bit overcome. Everything was so intense. The wave cresting inside her and the waves outside on the lake, the perfect lake that was going to be the backdrop for her movie, the movie of her heart.
“You’re OK,” Jack whispered, resting the hand that wasn’t, to use his filthy terminology, finger fucking her against her chest. Her heart was thudding under his palm.
It was like he knew her heart was so full that it was unsettling her.
He was anchoring her with one hand while he sent her flying with the other.
With him, both things could be true. “You’re OK,” he said again.
“You’re peachy.” She fell over the edge.
They stood there for a while, unmoving. When she recovered herself, she said, “You were right. Sublime was taking it too far.”
He swatted her butt and walked her toward one of the beds. Guided her down onto her back and, as he unwrapped a condom, said, “I do love the dress, but maybe time to take it off now?”
“Variety is the spice of life?”
“Cliché.”
“But true?” She had lifted her hips and begun to pull the dress over her head, but when he didn’t answer, she stopped, peeked out.
“True,” he said, giving her a look that seemed equal parts exasperated and fond.
When they were both naked, she shivered. “Here’s another cliché: you’d better get over here and warm me up.”
What followed she could genuinely characterize as sublime, though she didn’t say so.
She didn’t say anything. She just let herself be seduced, and did her best to return the favor.
She would have thought things would go faster at that point—he had been so aroused for so long—but he continued to display his remarkable talent for restraint as he kissed her everywhere.
Ages went by, it felt like, while they caressed each other.
She wouldn’t have thought she could come again, but the telltale pressure gathered.
Eventually, she decided it was up to her to move things along, and she nudged him off her and they made a comical attempt to rotate in the single bed.
When she was on top, she grabbed the condom he’d set on the nightstand between the two beds, sheathed him, and, with a sigh, slid down on him.
“Uhh,” he groaned.
“That’s all you have to say?” she teased as she pulled back slowly and sank down. “That, my friend, is vaguer than good.”
“Uhh,” he repeated, but he was grinning.
It was time to stop talking. She grabbed his hands and brought them to her breasts as she rode him. Pinpricks of pleasure zipped from her nipples to her center. She kept the pace slow, in keeping with the vibe of the encounter. Slow but concerted.
It didn’t take her long, and it didn’t take him long. She gasped as the fluttering started. It was less intense than before, less overwhelming, but it was so, so good. One might even say… “Peachy,” she whispered.
He moved his hands from her breasts and laced his fingers with hers. He gave a final “Uhh,” and thrust upward.
They stayed like that for a few moments, but eventually, she reached down to make sure the condom stayed where it was as she levered herself off him. She yawned.
He yawned.
“Contagious,” she said.
He sat up, dealt with the condom, and looked around. “This room is really something. I hadn’t really registered…”
“The unicorn posters? The unicorn duvets? The stuffed unicorn in the corner? The Unicorn Central vibe in general?”
“Correct on all counts.”
Blair curled up in the warm spot he’d created and pulled the fluffy duvet up to her chin. She was perfectly content. “Mm. Cozy.”
“I know you don’t want to slumber together, but can I sleep in the other unicorn bed?”
She cracked up. “I don’t know, can you?”
He rolled his eyes. “May I sleep in the other unicorn bed?”
“You may.”
