Laken: I don’t think there’s a pair of sound canceling headphones made to block out the damn noise coming from the top floor. How much bloody longer is this gonna go on? I think I need to find a place to stay because I’m not sure I can cope with this every few months. What’s it been? Four days?
Silas: Yep! There is no fucking place to hide, that smell, crikey it gets everywhere. And Laken, you promised Popi not to move out, remember?
Laken: Fuck!
Rue: I’m so glad I only had to listen to them for a day!
Jupiter: At least Tay had the courtesy not to do this shit on his own doorstep. Rue, at the rate they're going at it, they’ll still be up there when you get back.
Taylin: Thanks, I think…
Rue: Fucking wonderful!
Kodi: Jup, I thought you like exhibitionists?
Jupiter: It’s my brother getting his rocks off in spectacular style. No brother needs or wants to see or fucking hear that. I’m with Laken, this has been the longest four days. They must be hitting some sort of record.
Silas: You got that right! I think he’s traumatized me for life. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to look Frey in the eye again. But I seem to remember Tay spent several days with Hollis in a hotel room. So maybe we should get clarity from him?
Dad: Give over, the lot of you. A heat for an omega with their mate is a wonderful thing to experience.
Taylin: Thanks Dad. And I’m damn sure you guys have experiences of a partner going through a heat.
Jupiter: Nope. I don’t do partners!

Laken: Whatever… that doesn’t mean we have to endure it with Booker and Frey?
Dad: I didn’t hear you complaining when you went off with Emmy for a couple of hours. Wasn’t that you saying it was nice not to have Frey or Booker looking over your shoulder while you had Emmy all to yourself?
Laken: Dad… did you have to!
Dad: Of course, you’re my son, and I like to keep it real. Now pipe down, no one wants to upset Booker, do they?
