Chapter 9 The Ghosts of Qiuyue Valley
In Qiuyue Valley, besides Qiu Gu, two other ghosts were sealed.
Their dwellings were some distance apart.
They normally did not attack humans proactively.
But once they smelled blood, they would follow the scent over.
At that time, everyone in our inn would become their targets.
I scanned the crowd. They had more or less heard about the incident.
Their faces all looked panicked.
"Boss, how does your homestay have wild beasts? Someone has died!"
"Yeah, should we hurry down the mountain?"
"It's so late now. Going out would make us the wild beasts' dinner!"
"What should we do then? Let's call the police!"
But while there was still some signal in the afternoon.
Now everyone tried their phones to contact the outside world. No calls could go through.
And at this moment.
Guo Meiyue said excitedly. "I saw it. That was not a wild beast at all. It was a monster!
She had several fangs and could fly. In a whoosh, my son was gone!
This is a monster inn. Everyone, run!"
Everyone looked at each other. It didn't look like they believed Guo Meiyue's words.
A strange cry suddenly came from outside the inn.
It sounded like a woman's laugh.
Everyone's spines chilled.
This sound was obviously not from a normal human.
The middle-aged man swallowed. "It can't really be ghosts, can it?"
The lawyer's girlfriend seemed to recall something.
Her face changed drastically.
"I've heard the legend of Qiuyue Valley. It says three ghosts were once sealed here. They eat children, peel human skin, and dig out hearts.
But isn't this just a legend? And I heard they were all sealed!"
I looked at her and sighed. "This is not a legend. These three ghosts were indeed sealed."
