Chapter 11
CHAPTER ELEVEN
“I’m going to get in the shower to warm up,” I tell Star as soon as we get home.
He nods but has a distant look on his face as he takes a seat on the couch, like he hasn’t even heard me. I watch him for a moment from the hallway. I feel so helpless.
We both want the same thing, but there’s no way to make it happen.
I turn and head for the bathroom, shutting the door behind me and leaning against it.
It’s been two days. Two days since this man fell into my life.
And I already feel like we’re eternally connected.
Like if he goes back to where he came from, I’ll spend the rest of my life looking up into the sky, wondering if he’s looking back.
I rip my beanie off my head and sigh. This is idiotic. I don’t know him, and he doesn’t know me, and feeling this intensely for someone you’ve known for 48 hours is insane.
I take off my clothes and start up the shower as hot as it’ll go. I like it scalding, even though Mackenzie is always telling me I’m going to destroy my skin.
Under the spray, some of the chill that settled deep in my bones starts to melt away. It feels good, even if only for a moment. I shut my eyes and let it wash over my face.
And then I hear the bathroom door open.
I step out of the spray and wipe the water from my eyes. “Star?” I push the shower curtain aside and all the blood rushes to my face.
Starlight is standing by the closed door, his clothes on the ground by his feet, looking at me like he’s drowning and I’m the only one with any oxygen to offer him.
“Come here,” I whisper.
And he does. He steps into the shower beside me, and we don’t even bother closing the curtain before we’re kissing. He envelops me in his big body, and I melt into him.
I’m not a small man, and even though he’s not that much taller than me, it’s like being surrounded by a dark forest, a forest you feel safe in. His hands roam across my back and then down to my ass, grabbing onto me and pulling my hips up against him.
He wants more of what we did this morning, and I can’t blame him, especially now that there are no clothes between us. It’s just our bare, slick cocks rubbing against each other, and it feels incredible.
But I don’t know how much time we have together, and I want to show him everything.
So, I drop to my knees, the water cascading down over me. Star watches me curiously, and I feel a bit of a thrill knowing he doesn’t know what I’m going to do next, but that he’s going to enjoy it immensely.
I press a kiss to the head of his cock, and he lets out a heavy sigh. I give him a few strokes, my eyes locked on his, and then take him into my mouth. He cries out, looking down at me like he just discovered every wonder of the world all at once.
“Mason,” he chokes out. His hands ball into fists at his sides and as I slide him deeper into my mouth, I reach up to take them in mine.
Pressing my thumbs into his palms, I settle his hands on the back of my head and meet his eye.
I want him to know he doesn’t have to hold himself back if it feels good.
I’ve got quite a bit of practice with this sort of thing, and I don’t gag easily.
While he does clench his fingers in my hair, he doesn’t use the grip to move or control me. He just watches me as I suck on him, taking him as far as I can and humming at how good it feels.
When he starts to make helpless little noises, his eyes falling closed, I reach down to wrap a fist around myself. I’ve always loved giving head, but doing this for Star, someone so genuine and generous with himself, is even better. Watching him unravel is enough to bring me to the edge.
His eyes pop open, and I know it’s because he’s about to come, that he’s so close that the sensation is startling.
When he looks down at me and sees what I’m doing, his eyes widen, and I feel the first splash of his cum on my tongue. That’s all it takes for me to go off, swallowing even as my eyes roll back in my head from how good it feels.
We both gasp for breath, him leaning against the wall and me half slumped against the side of the tub. And then we look at each other—him down at me, me up at him—and for some reason, we start to laugh.
