Chapter 14 No Holding Back
We ended up tangled together, kissing fiercely.
But the romantic atmosphere was completely gone.
Drugged Fu Jiye was like a bull.
Biting, gnawing, with so much strength…
He tormented me half to death. By the second half of the night I almost lost consciousness.
The next morning when I woke up.
My body was covered in marks. When I tried to get out of bed, my legs trembled and I nearly collapsed onto the carpet.
Fortunately a pair of hands caught my waist in time.
“Hmph.”
Seeing Fu Jiye awake, I immediately put on a cold face.
“You finally woke up? Do you even realize last night you were like a damn bull and almost killed me?”
Fu Jiye smoothly pulled me back onto the bed and tucked me into his arms.
“Sorry. I didn’t control myself well.”
“Next time I’ll be gentler.”
Me: “You still want a next time???”
I’d already tested Fu Jiye’s stamina.
Terrifyingly strong.
I was about to scold him more when suddenly his eyes reddened.
“You’re not going to take responsibility, are you?”
“Liao Xing, do you hate me that much? No matter what I do, you won’t even glance my way?”
I was stunned.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
Fu Jiye was actually crying.
I panicked, completely at a loss.
“Come on, Liao Xing—the one who got done is me, and you’re the one acting aggrieved?”
Fu Jiye looked utterly pitiful. “Then what are we now?”
The words slipped out before I could stop them. “Boyfriends.”
“Fake—fake ones.”
The room suddenly fell silent.
Fu Jiye hung his head, looking completely dejected.
“But I don’t want it to be fake. I like you. I want you, Liao Xing. I can’t live without you.”
“All the intimate things we did during this time, all the ways I’ve treated you, all my feelings for you—I refuse to believe you felt nothing.”
Even though I’d had a hunch, hearing Fu Jiye say it out loud still shocked me.
“But I’ve just been using you…”
To get revenge on Gu Qunian.
My feelings for him were only a tiny bit of like.
Fu Jiye gave a bitter smile. “It’s okay. Even if I know you’re just using me, I’m willing.”
“Being used by you is still a good thing. Otherwise why would you choose to use me instead of anyone else?”
You really have no idea why I chose you?
Weren’t you the one who volunteered back then?!
But Fu Jiye’s gaze was so sincere I couldn’t bring myself to say anything harsh.
“Can you act normal for once? Let’s talk properly.”
