Chapter 17 Giving You a Chance

My cheeks started burning as soon as I heard all that.

The heat crept up from my ears.

"Okay then."

"I'll reluctantly give you this chance."

Anyway, I was feeling just a tiny bit moved too.

Fu Jiye already liked me so much.

If I didn't give him any response at all, it would feel wrong.

He could make me happy, and that was enough.

Fu Jiye suddenly hugged me tightly from behind, excited.

"Thank you, Fu Jiye!"

He planted a kiss right on the back of my neck.

A wave of prickling itchiness swept through my whole body.

I couldn't help shivering.

But Fu Jiye only got more excessive, trying to leave even more ambiguous marks on me.

"Fu Jiye, I really like you so much."

"I've wanted to do this for so long."

"Fu Jiye, are you a dog? Why are you biting?!"

He didn't bite hard—more like licking, to be accurate.

But that word—I just couldn't say it out loud.

The licked spot felt numb and tingly.

I trembled slightly without meaning to.

I tried to push Fu Jiye away, but his arms locked me firmly in his embrace.

He bit deeper, harder.

"Sorry, I was wrong."

His mouth said one thing, but his actions didn't loosen at all.

Sigh. No way around it.

Who told Fu Jiye to be so good at loving someone?

And I'm such a hopeless romantic.

Later, we both got exactly what we wanted.

I wanted tons of love from him.

Fu Jiye wanted to give it.

Two people this ridiculous about romance?

We fit.
