The time between Christmas and New Year’s has been amazing.
Things seem like they’re finally getting back to normal with Craig.
After Christmas, he explained why he did what he did with my present, and honestly, it makes sense.
If I were ever to be using it, he wouldn’t always be around to help me if something were to go wrong.
It was a tough love lesson, and I passed.
To make up for the misunderstanding, he’s been sending me flowers again to work and coming to eat lunch with me when he’s able to get away from his job. It’s nice to see him acting this way again. The amount of stress that he had been under was really starting to take a toll on our relationship.
Last night we ate dinner at his apartment, and he promised one day I would have a ring on my finger.
He said that he couldn’t imagine life with anyone else.
That even though we had our issues, I was the love of his life, the only one who truly understood him, and he wanted to spend forever with me.
I’m just glad these past few months can be put behind us and we can go back to being happy again.
