Chapter 28 Husband and Husband
Husband and Husband
LOTHAIR
The tabloids found out about my engagement to Terry two weeks before the wedding.
We had to surround my property with an army of security and pick the paparazzi down from trees and ladders as they swarmed to take a shot of Terry.
By some miracle, the date and location—Terry’s folks’ main house—remained undisclosed.
Zach brought Nick as his plus-one to our wedding.
The sight of them made me happy. They were seated next to Paris and Boone at the ceremony, and when Paris began talking to them, Nick’s cheeks got all pink and stars danced in his eyes.
Zach cast an arm around his shoulders, and even from a distance, I could see the soothing effect his embrace had on Nick. They were cute together.
I was surprised at how calm I was waiting for Terry to join me under the green orchard canopy.
When he came down the aisle in his shimmery silver tux, his smile shy and adorable, my stomach swooped.
This was my grand, happy ending and an even grander beginning.
My mate, in love, happy to join his life with mine forever.
I still sometimes woke up surprised that this was my reality.
Maybe I was dreaming right now. When the sun reflected off Terry’s hair and he squinted in the bright light, the image got a little blurry.
He came up to me and cupped my face, his thumbs wiping under my eyes. Was I crying? In front of everyone? How embarrassing! I dropped my gaze, but Terry kissed the corner of my mouth.
“I love you, baby,” he whispered. “Ready?”
“Yeah.”
He told me he loved me again in his vow.
“Before I met you, I thought I had it all figured out. I thought I knew who I was and what I wanted, and I judged people around me, fancying myself above them. I was an arrogant fool. Then you sauntered into my life wearing nothing but white boxer briefs, kicked me in the shin, laughed at me, and I realized I knew nothing.” A few chuckles disturbed the silence, coming mainly from where the Sullivans sat next to Terry’s boss and colleagues.
Terry paused, grinning at me, then his expression turned serious.
“Lothair, you’ve taught me so much already, and I’m still learning.
You’ve shown me joy and pleasure like I hadn’t ever imagined, you’ve opened my mind and heart, and you steal my breath every time you walk into a room.
I love you. You’re warm, compassionate, fierce, so damned clever, and I’ll be proud to call you mine for the rest of my life. ”
Yeah, if he had said one more sentence, I would have bawled. I took a few seconds to compose myself, but even then, my voice shook.
“I love you, Terry.” And I choked. Fuck.
He squeezed my hands, smiling encouragingly.
I took another deep breath and one more.
“I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating.
You’re my life’s greatest accomplishment.
I don’t think anything I’ll ever manage in the future will be greater than marrying you.
I considered myself a hedonist, enjoying life to the fullest, but I only learned about true passion and happiness when I found you.
I promise you, I’ll do everything in my power to make you as happy as I am when I’m near you. ”
Time seemed to move faster after that. We kissed, and the crowd cheered. Terry’s pops whistled, and his dog, Badger, let out a loud bark in response, making everybody laugh.
I had no idea how many people hugged me and shook hands with me during the following twenty minutes. I didn’t know who half of them were.
The forever beautiful Leonard Chase, now Sullivan, gave me a kiss on my cheek. He balanced a baby on his hip, and his husband, a tall, scowling dragon, carried a toddler on his shoulders. The formidable alpha’s face softened when he shook my hand.
Conrad Roche brought his three mates and their new baby.
Before the ceremony, I noticed Quinton, the youngest omega, sitting in the shade on Terry’s folks’ patio sofa.
He was chest-feeding the infant while cuddled to Conrad’s side.
The sight tugged at my heart in a way I was learning to recognize. One day, we’ll have our own.
Even Allan Caspian made an appearance with Julio, his omega lover.
He congratulated us profusely while Julio eyed my husband with an unmistakable glint in his eyes.
Boone slapped my shoulder, and Paris hugged me before he slid a key and an envelope into my hand.
It was to Paris’s private getaway residence that they’d offered us for ten days as a wedding present.
I stuffed the items into my pocket, thanking Paris profusely. He patted my cheek.
“Enjoy. The helicopter is ready to go in three hours.”
Three hours. I could make it for three more hours.
Most of the time, I was swamped by a throng of Harbingers.
God, there were so many of them. They seemed to multiply in front of my eyes.
When I thought I’d met all the cousins already, Terry’s omega dad brought more people forward.
There was Terry’s uncle Howard’s second son with his husband and three kids, Terry’s great-uncle Keith’s oldest twins with their spouses and twelve children and two babysitters, Terry’s second cousin once removed, his neighbor, the neighbor’s grandpa, and all the members of the grandpa’s a cappella singing choir.
Did Terry really know all these people? But I smiled and shook hands until my shoulder felt like it would pop out of its socket.
We cut the cake and drank champagne. Terry’s pops made a hilarious speech in which he embarrassed at least fifteen family members.
It had been a fun day in the end. But when the helicopter lifted from the ground, Terry squeezed my hand, and I breathed a sigh of relief. Nobody, except the pilot and our generous hosts, Paris and Boone, knew where we were going. I had my husband by my side, and we were going to be alone for days.
“So Paris owns an actual island, huh?” Terry’s voice crackled in my headphones.
“Yep. Told you I was small potatoes compared to him.”
Terry shook his head, smiling. “Well, I’m glad the thing with Carlos didn’t make him our enemy.”
“Are you looking forward to our honeymoon, dear husband?”
He let go of my hand and squeezed my inner thigh, but then he glanced meaningfully at the pilot in front of us. Right. He could hear everything we were saying. Terry rubbed a thumb across the inner seam of my pants and winked.
“I am.”
It took us half an hour to get to the airport, then a three-hour flight in Paris’s private jet, and finally one hour on a motorboat.
The island was a crescent-shaped range rising from the ocean, about a mile in diameter.
The guy left our luggage on a small pier at the end of a pristine beach and took off.
Terry looked up at the villa on a cliff above us. The ultra-modern glass-and-steel structure was lit up for our arrival, shining against the sunset-colored sky like something from a sci-fi movie.
“When’s the staff supposed to arrive?” Terry asked slowly, gazing up at the futuristic residence, his face blank.
“Once every three days. Cleaning crew and grocery delivery.”
“So we’re completely alone on this island.”
“Yes. That was the whole point, remember?”
Terry nodded to himself then turned to the beach. A wide grin spread across his face.
“This is nuts.”
He stepped out of his loafers and dropped his pants before shrugging out of his short-sleeved shirt. Naked, he took off running along the shoreline.
“C’mon!” he yelled before he turned into the water, splashing through until he dove.
A few seconds later, two sandy-colored wings spread above the gentle waves. The setting sun painted them in orange and pink hues. Terry the dragon rose from the ocean like a mythical creature, causing a small rain shower on the beach. He circled the bay and flew above me.
“What are you waiting for?” The dragon’s voice boomed, bouncing off the cliffs.
“Enjoying the view!” I yelled.
My Terry was magnificent. He flew along the range and dove to the water’s surface, dipping his claws in the ocean, before flying up in a spiral, glittering drops spraying around him.
The display of pure joy brought tingles to my belly. I didn’t think I’d ever felt this kind of happiness before, this lightness in my body and clarity in my mind.
I stripped, leaving my clothes in a pile on the pier. Then I ran after Terry and shifted mid-jump. We chased each other like kids, diving into the water and rising to the sky until it got dark.
We lay naked on the beach under the stars, our human bodies covered in salt and sand, and we kissed. We were both hard, but there was no urgency, nowhere to go, no reason to rush. We let our tongues tangle, I brushed the sand off Terry’s ass and kneaded the muscle, and he moaned into the kiss.
He kissed my throat and bit my ear. “I want to lick your ass and fuck you, but we have sand everywhere.”
“There’s a shower by the pier. Let’s clean up, bring our things inside, and we can fuck for the rest of the night.”
“Mm-hmm. I like that plan,” he purred against the crook of my shoulder. “I believe I saw a rather large terrace up there. I could fuck you under the stars.”
“You can do whatever you want with me. In fact, I think I’ll stay naked twenty-four seven, so you’ll have easy access.”
“Great idea.” He patted my ass and hopped up.
We collected our clothes and luggage and climbed four flights of wooden stairs to the house.
It was relatively small, with only three bedrooms and an open space with a kitchen island and living room area, but the glass walls opened onto a massive terrace with a pool, a Jacuzzi, a circular cabana, and an outdoor bar.
Terry fished out a tote from his bag and grabbed my neck, pushing me toward the cabana. I didn’t protest one bit. A familiar ache was already blooming inside me, my balls full and cock hard from anticipation only.
“On your knees, mate.”
I climbed onto the mattress and pushed my ass out. The night was hot, the air still, and the gauzy curtains around the cabana were barely moving. Terry dropped the tote, with lube inside, onto the mattress next to me, and the next thing I felt was his mouth on my ass.
I moaned, unashamed of the high-pitched sound. This was bliss. “I love when you do this to me.”
Humming, Terry licked inside me.
He rimmed me for ages, drawing pitiful mewls and cries from me.
I clutched the bedding in my fists, rocking back against his face.
My knot felt hot at the base of my dick, my balls drew up, and my length throbbed.
But I took it like a good boy, knowing the pleasure would be all the sweeter if I let Terry prolong the buildup.
Then he added a single finger, grazing my gland. My horns, wings, and tail burst out of my body, and I came. My skin tingled all over, and my asshole was still twitching when Terry quickly moved behind me, grabbed my tail, and pushed his cock into me.
He’d half shifted too. I didn’t see it, but I could feel it. His lubed dick felt massive inside me, like a fucking fist, but my body took it, loosening up for my mate.
My husband.
Terry stroked my tail and moved slowly, letting his half-swollen knot pop in and out, stretching my rim wider. His balls brushed mine.
I expected him to speed up and pound me like he always did. I was bracing for the assault of sensation. But Terry tugged me to the side, hugged my tail, and leisurely circled his hips. I felt so full I could barely breathe.
“Shh, baby. Let me love you. Let’s look at the stars and make love.”
I breathed deeply and forced my eyes open. It was a new moon, and the calm ocean reflected the starry sky. Slow, deep thrusts filled me, and I inhaled and exhaled, letting my tail and wings draw back into my body.
“That’s it. We’ll do this for a long time. I want to feel you.”
Terry hugged me, spooning me, and pressed into me to the root. He remained half shifted and just rocked me on his cock. The size of him inside me felt most overwhelming like this, and I adored it. Slow, so slow.
“I love you, Terry.”
He pressed small kisses to my hair and shoulder. “Good. Because you belong to me now. Forever.”
“And you’re mine.”
“Mm-hmm. All yours.”
Fuck, he was huge. His dragon dick in my human body. I began making sounds on each lazy thrust, guttural and loud. My arms and legs felt heavy, my muscles loose. I wouldn’t be able to control my movements if I tried.
With impressive self-control, Terry edged me for what felt like forever.
Toward the end, I didn’t know if the stars were real or just sparks in my brain.
My orgasm came like a tidal wave, rising from around my asshole and thundering through my lower body until my untouched dick sprayed cum all the way onto the patio floor.
I was shaking in Terry’s arms. He fucked me harder, forcing my hole to clench with aftershocks. He stilled, burying his face in my hair.
His dick pulsated inside me, and I smiled, knowing he was dousing my insides with his cum.
He stayed inside me until he softened, and we kissed, rolling on the messy sheets. We might have to buy Paris a new mattress and bedding for the cabana.
Fucked out and mellow, I lay on my side and watched my husband make our drinks at the fully stocked outdoor bar. He brought me my glass and sat beside me, gazing at the dark ocean spreading infinitely before us. I could live like this forever.
“We only have ten days,” I said quietly, feeling a little childish.
“Only?”
“I’m afraid the time will go too fast.”
Terry kissed my shoulder. “It’s a honeymoon, love. After this, we have our entire lives in front of us.”
My life, entwined with Terry’s, decades of love and adventures, and maybe even our own family… He was right. This was just the beginning.
“Enjoy your drink, and then let’s find something to eat,” he said. “You’ll need carbs because I want my husband to fuck me and breed me like an animal.”
I grinned at my mate. “I’ll make you cry.”
“I expect nothing less.”
Our kiss turned dirty and messy. We didn’t make it into the kitchen until much later.
