Chapter 27 - Vadik

Looking at her, my mind raced through the last couple of months. As I approached her, Tasha looked up from her laptop. “Hey, you,” she said, smiling.

“Hi,” I replied softly as I bent down beside her. Taking her hand and squeezing softly, I continued. “How would you like to take a trip with me?”

Leaning in, she tenderly kissed my cheek as she replied. “Oh, my. Where are we going? Nothing’s been planned.”

“I know, but I want to whisk you away,” I added as I pulled her up from the chair.

Tasha’s smile still lit up my world. Picking her off the ground I turned in a circle. She laughed while tapping lightly on my chest. “Enough, there’s work to be done. No time for playing,” she said.

Lowering her, I held her hips gazing into her amazing blue eyes as I spoke. “Tasha, please come with me.”

“Now?” she questioned sounding a bit taken back.

“Yes, now, I have something to show you,” I responded pulling her with me as I moved into the house. I have already booked a flight. If we didn’t leave, we would miss it.

“Okay, okay,” Tasha said slapping my hand softly. “Let me go and pack.”

“No, there’s no time, we have to leave now,” I added picking her up and placing her over my shoulder. “I have all we need in the car.”

The guard opened the door as he saw us approaching. Lowering Tasha, I placed her in the car and got in on the other side. The trip to the airport was quick. Once we boarded the plane, our holiday could begin.

I loved keeping her in suspense. Tasha inquired about our destination the entire time, but I didn’t give in. As we approached, the pilot’s voice echoed through the speaker. “Please fasten your seatbelts as we prepare to land. Welcome to Paris. We hope you enjoyed the flight and thank you for trusting us with your lives. Have a fabulous holiday.”

Tasha looked at me. She had her hands over her open mouth as she gasped. Her eyes were filled with excitement. “You didn’t,” she huffed.

“Oh, yes, I did,” I replied pulling her closer and kissing her forehead. She was so excited. It looked like she was charged up like a light. Seeing her so childlike, so purely delighted by the smallest things fueled the fire burning inside my heart for her.

Once we collected our bags, well the one bag each that I had packed, we headed out of the airport. The wind was cool but not chilly yet. I placed my jacket over her shoulder before hailing a cab. Jumping into the cab, I gave the driver the card holding the hotel’s name and address. He nodded, looking at me in his mirror and drove off.

Tasha couldn’t sit still. She moved from side to side pressing me up against the door at time, just so she could see all around us. She pointed at numerous things. Some were big buildings, shops, food stands on the street, and even pointed out some of the street performers.

Watching her made me smile. Her joy started rubbing off on me as we neared the hotel. We drove past the Arc De Triomphe monument. Tasha pushed her face up against the window to admire it.

When the Eiffel Tower came into view, she practically jumped up and down in the seat. Even though it was a distance from us, it stood tall and could be seen clearly. Tasha’s smile made me think of a girl in love with a puppy.

Tere were so many French buildings that stood out and each held great historical and character value. I was amazed at her knowledge even though she has never been to Paris. We passed more than a dozen coffee shops but she pointed out each one.

“We have to stop at all of them. I’ve heard the French make the most divine coffee and croissants.?” she uttered half to herself.

The cab pulled up to our hotel and Tasha once again seemed to smash her face into the window as she admired it. Getting out, I was joined by the driver to take our bags out of the boot. As I opened the door for Tasha she seemed to bounce out like a bunny.

Turning to face me she made a pouting face as a single tear ran down her cheek. “Tasha,” I exclaimed taking her by the shoulders. “What’s wrong my love, why are you suddenly sad?” Lifting her face with my hand, I kissed her lips as I spoke again. “Are you okay?”

She nodded as she wiped at the tear. Staring into my eyes, she spoke softly. “Yes, everything is just perfect. I can’t thank you enough for doing this.” She raised onto her toes and kissed my cheek. “I am overwhelmed with happiness.”

The cab driver dropped our bags next to us, pulling me from the trance that was Tasha. “Thank you,” I said paying him.

Turning to the door, I was met by one of the bellboys. “May I take your bags, sir?” he asked bending to pick them up. He looked like a child but had the voice of a man. Taking Tasha’s hand, we followed him inside and to the front desk.

Te building was much bigger than the advert showed, and the inside was a creation of perfection. Tasha ohh’d and aah’d as far as we went. The staff passing all greeted and welcomed us in the utmost friendliness I had ever seen.

Coming to the front desk, we were again greeted with big smiles and warm welcomes. The young lady checked our booking and handed me the keys. The bellboy went with us up to the room and placed our luggage next to the double sofa in the lounge area.

Tasha explored the suite as I took our bags to the bedroom. The place had all we could need and more. I was impressed by the luxury and finess.

Once we settled in the room, I ordered room service and filled the tub with bubbles. We spent the evening in the room, just enjoying each other’s company. I had a big day planned and wanted her relaxed.

Getting up before her, I ordered a champagne breakfast as it was a special day. Once the food arrived, I pushed it into the room next to the bed. Sitting down beside her, I gently stroked her hair as I spoke. “Tasha, baby, it’s time to get up.”

Her eyes flickered before opening. Tasha smiled at me. “What’s this?” she asked.

“Well, today is a special day and I want us to start it right,” I said watching her shift and sit up.

She turned her head to the side looking at me suspiciously. “What are you up to?” she asked.

“Oh, no, nothing,” I replied kissing her hand. “Come on, we have lots to do and see.”

We took a couple of bites, had some champagne and got ready. There was a limo waiting to take us to our first stop. Tasha had still not calmed down. Her excitement was contagious.

Shifting forward, I leaned closer to the driver. “Here you go my man,” I said handing him a paper with the destinations for the day on them.

Looking in his mirror he spoke with a wild accent. “To the first one, sir?”

“Yes, thank you,” I replied sitting back.

As the limo pulled out, Tasha popped open the complimentary wine that was on ice between the seats. Laughing at her, I just shook my head. The champagne breakfast must have given her some taste for drinking. But it was fine, we were on holiday and today was a special day.

She poured each of us a glass. Handing mine to me, she raised hers. “To our amazing adventures,” she tooted.

Raising mine, I gently clinked her glass. “To us,” I replied.

“So,” Tasha said curiously after taking a sip. “Where are we going?”

“Oh, no, curious little one,” I teased. “You will have to wait and see.”

Tasha sat pouting for a moment then pushed her face up against the window. “I can’t see anything through these dark-tinted windows,” she huffed glancing around the limo’s interior.

“Tasha, baby, what are you looking for? Can’t you just enjoy the trip,” I asked.

She responded mumbling as she continued searching for something. Ah ha,” she said beaming suddenly as she pressed a button above our heads. “Yes, I got it.”

Looking up I noticed the sunroof opening. Before I could say anything, Tasha stuck her head through and stood up. She was a determined one and quick when she wanted something.

Moving closer, I grabbed hold of her legs. Looking up, I spoke loudly hoping she could hear me through the wind. “Don’t you think…” was all I got out when Tasha grabbed my arm and pulled me up through the sunroof.

“Isn’t it lovely, look at the amazing view,” she screamed into the wind.

Placing my hand on her back, I rubbed in a circle as I replied. “Yes, it is lovely, but…”

Once again I was cut off but this time it was due to Tasha screaming at the top of her lungs banging the limo’s roof. “Stop, stop!”

The limo came to a sudden halt flinging us forward. I almost knocked my head against the roof. “What’s wrong? Tasha, are you okay?” I asked concerned.

She didn’t even respond as she popped back into the limo and opened the door. I had just lowered myself when she grabbed my hand and dragged me out. It all happened so quickly. We were out of the limo even before the driver had gotten out.

Tasha had already dragged me halfway across the busy road. Pulling free, I headed back to the driver standing clueless next to the limo. “I’m so very sorry. We’ll be right back,” I said hoping her was a forgiving man. “She is just so excited. She can’t contain it. I’m sincerely sorry for this.”

He nodded and I headed back to Tasha who was already on the curb. Approaching her, I knew I had to say something. Stopping before her, I placed my hands on my hips as I spoke. “Tasha, you can’t be doing things like that. You nearly gave the driver and me a heart attack.”

Raising to her toes, she leaned forward kissing my cheek as she placed her hand on my chest. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset anyone. But we had to stop for this,” she apologized.

Turning, I saw it was one of the many coffee shops she had pointed out to me on our drive to the hotel. Taking her hands in mine, I sighed. Before I could speak, Tasha interrupted. “Please, just look at them. They look and smell so good and that’s not even mentioning the sheer size of them.”

“Okay,” I gave in. “Let’s grab you one. But you must promise to behave. No more in between stops, we have a lot to see.”

She bit her lower lip, smiled and then nodded vibrantly as she skipped inside. Once we got coffee, we could return to the limo and were off again. Stopping at our first destination, I thought Something was wrong as Tasha froze as soon as she got out.

Walking around to her, I stopped before her waving my hand. I was about to ask if she was okay when she grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me. “You chose the Eiffel Tower, you brought me here first?” she exclaimed. The smile on her face was only stopped by the sides of her head and her ears.

“I had to ensure my tigress got to see this wonder up close and in person,” I replied placing my arm around her shoulder. We walked underneath the Eiffel tower, went halfway up and took lots of pictures of the tower, its view and us.

Before moving on, we popped into a café for something to eat and another big coffee. Returning to the limo, we found the driver waiting patiently. “Could you take a picture for me?” I asked, handing him my phone.

Tasha and I stood side by side with the Eiffel Tower in the background. It was a perfect picture. She was much quieter as we headed to our second destination. I felt my food mulling in my stomach as my nerves tried to eat me up.

I wasn’t unsure of many things in life, but how she would react was a mystery. I had planned everything down to the last little detail and yet, I couldn’t predict the outcome. Tasha stood on the seat with her head out of the limo for most of the ride to our next stop. I was glad she did as I didn’t want her to notice as I fidgeted with the box in my pocket.

The limo stopped and I heard Tasha speaking as she came back down. “Wow, you must see this. I haven’t seen so many flowers ever.” Pinching her chin, she turned her head to the side as she continued. “No, I have. But only in movies and magazines.”

The driver opened the door and Tasha dashed out. Getting out, I straightened my jacket and smoothed my hair. My hands were sweaty, and I felt sick. Never before had I ever felt so tense. My stomach felt like it was tied into one big knot.

Turning, my gaze caught Tasha’s. She smiled as she lightly stood swinging. Her eyes were big and shining. She was an angel with the fields of flowers behind her. Remembering how much she means to me and how I feel around her, I swallowed my fear.

Walking to her, I untied the knot in my stomach and pushed away all the nerves trying to eat at me. Taking her hand, I led her into the field. Tasha pointed out several flowers she knew. Some were similar looking. She also mentioned which colors she liked most.

In the middle of the field was a water well. I stopped and leaned against it. Tasha turned with a puzzled look on her face as she spoke. “What’s the matter, why did we stop? Don’t tell me you’re tired already.”

“No, not at all,” I replied holding my hands out to her. “Come stand with me for a moment. Let’s take in the magnificent view and enjoy the blossom scent floating on the wind.”

Next to the well grew a row of blue flowers. Bending down, I took a whiff. “These are divine,” I said glancing at her. “You should really come and smell them. I think as a perfume they would have a lasting aroma.” As she turned, I stepped back so she could get in close.

With her back to me, I knew it was now or never. Going down on one knee, I waited for her to turn back. Taking out the little blue box, I opened it and held it in the palm of my hand. Smiling proudly, I knew without hesitation that she was my soul mate.

“Tasha,” I said and waited. She glanced at me over her shoulder then spun around looking from me to the box and back at me. Her hands instantly moved to her mouth as she gasped.

I could see tears shimmering in her eyes. “Before you say anything, let me speak,” I said taking a deep breath. “I know we started our on a rocky path. Well, come to think of it, our relationship was forced and that couldn’t have been fun for you.”

“Oh, Vadik,” she huffed taking a step closer.

“Wait,” I replied raising my hand. “I’m not done. As we spent time together, I got to know the real you. The brilliant shining woman under all the armor life has blessed you with. With each passing day, my love for you grew. My heart swelled until it felt like it was bursting.”

Tasha’s tears started rolling down her cheeks as she came up to me. “I love you more than I could ever show, Tasha. You deserve a proper proposal and wedding.”

As I spoke, I watched her face. “Tasha, my tigress, will you do me the honor of willingly becoming my wife?” The tears now flowed freely from her blue eyes. She nodded as she swallowed hard.

Wiping away the tears streaming down her cheeks, she replied softly. “Yes, caveman, I will marry you.”

Squinting, I shook my head as she giggled. Tasha leaned in and kissed me. Touching my lips as she pulled back, I could still feel her. This kiss was different. She leaned back slightly as she whispered. “Don’t you worry, I will explain the caveman thing to you.’

Pushing the ring over her knuckle, I felt a warmth in my chest. She was finally going to be fully mine. Standing up, I lifted her into my arms turning in a circle as she hugged me tightly. Placing her back down, I spoke softly, “I love you so much.”

“Not a chance that you love me more than I love you,” she responded looking at the new diamond ring on her finger.

“Oh, wait, I need to put my phone on,” she said pulling it out quicker than a whip. “I have to call the family and let them know.”

Taking hold of her hands, I squeezed tenderly. “Can we please wait before telling the world,” I said gazing into her eyes. “I know we are actually already married, but I’m still a tad wary of them. What would they say knowing you now committed willingly?”

She smiled and put her phone back in her pocket.

Kissing her, I whispered, “Thank you for understanding.” Tasha smiled as she returned my kiss. The rest of the day was filled with coffee tasting and some Chinese for supper.

I watched as she lay sleeping, she was everything I needed in my life. I would give my life to protect her. Opening the bedside table drawer, I took out my phone and switched it on. There were quite a lot of messages and calls during the day. Wanting quality time with her, I had hidden both our phones so there were no interruptions.

Looking at the messages, I saw that important decisions had been made while we were out of reach. There will be another union to bind the families. Looking at my sleeping beauty, I decided not to worry about that at this point.

My focus was on my bride. She had said yes, this time we would be married with her blessing. Getting in next to her, I couldn’t help the love that surged through me. She was my everything. Tomorrow, we will see another couple of sights and then head home.

Glancing to the side, I saw Tasha was still sleeping. I was glad to be up before her. Sliding gently out of bed, I peeked through the curtains. The world outside was also still sleeping as the sun had not made its appearance yet.

Grabbing my phone I went to the lounge area. I ordered breakfast and coffee before heading out on the balcony. I sat with my phone as I checked our itinerary for the day. There was so much still left.

I had to take her to Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montemarte. But there were also some stores I knew she would love to visit. The bell rang and I rushed to the door hoping it didn’t wake Tasha. I had just pushed the cart in when I heard her speaking behind me. “Good morning, you’re up early.”

Turning to her, I couldn’t help but pull her close. She was even beautiful first thing in the morning. “Morning, gorgeous,” I huffed showering her in kisses. The sun was about to come out as a line of gold hit the floor making Tasha glow. Stepping back, I felt my heart growing as I studied the angel before me.

“Your eyes seem to be glowing as the sun’s rays hit you,” she said coming closer.

Smiling, I replied in a seductive tone. “You should see yourself.”

Tasha placed her hands around my neck as she came in for a kiss. As our lips comforted each other’s, her hand slid down my chest. I gasped almost biting her lip as she grabbed my balls and squeezed.

My passionate drive kicked into gear instantly. Moving my hands up, I pushed them in under her top. Finding her breasts, I started massaging them. Moving my hands back down her sides, I gripped her hips and picked her up.

She didn’t hesitate to fling her legs around me as I moved back to the bedroom. Placing her down on the floor, I pushed her pants down helping her out of them. Tasha lay back down on the bed beaming.

Eliminating my pants, I slowly moved onto the bed kissing her feet, her legs and her stomach as I went. Tasha pushed up slightly as she moved her hand down to grab my cock. Breathing in slowly, I kissed her breasts.

Taking her mouth again, I kissed her hard and long as my hand made its way down her center. Rubbing her pussy softly, Tasha moaned into my mouth. Placing her hand on my chest she gently pushed me away.

“What’s wrong?” I asked confused.

“Nothing, baby,” she huffed as she jumped up and turned so her ass was facing me. She sucked her fingers and pushed them through her pussy. I felt my insides exploding as I watched her.

Getting into position, I grabbed her hips. As I moved closer, Tasha guided my cock into her warmth. I felt my body tense and release as bliss streamed though me. Being inside her was a welcoming feeling.

Wrapping one arm around her chest, I pulled her up against me. Tasha reached back taking hold of my ass as I made love to her. With her steading herself, I had a free hand. Licking my fingers I reached down to stroke her clitoris.

Tasha pushed her head back into my chest as she moaned. I kissed her neck and nibbled her ear as I moved in and out of her wet pussy. Her moans were music to my soul as my body shook slightly.

Moving my hand up and down her body, I took turns giving attention to her breasts and her clitoris. Tasha’s one hand came up as she grabbed the back of my neck and pulled tight.

She arched bending her head even more into me as she started orgasming. Taking firmly hold of her, I pushed deeper into her, feeling my own pleasure about to erupt. We finished simultaneously. Tasha shook as she let go of my neck and flopped to the bed out of breath. Turning, she looked at me and smiled.

I placed my hand on her cheek. Leaning in, I kissed her forehead as I spoke softly. “Thank you, baby. This entire trip has been special. There are still some places to stop. I want to take a detour to the airport which means we must go.”

We finished packing, greeted the staff as we left the hotel, and headed out. The limo driver eagerly stopped for us and drove circles to the airport. Back at the airport, we checked in the multiple bags we now had and boarded.

Tasha slept the entire trip home. She was exhausted from all the activities, and I couldn’t blame her. It was a lot. Yet, we had the best time and lots of pictures to remember it by.
