Chapter 32
CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
Dimitri
WHEN THE DOCTOR emerged from his shower, he put on a pair of boxers and entered the room where I laid in wait. I watched him as he booted up the computer, opened a folder and started jerking off to random pictures of his victims.
Moving slowly through the shadows of the room, I positioned myself behind him, locked my arms around his neck and choked him until he passed out.
I had just changed into my protective gear from head to toe and am in the process of arranging my various tools on the desk when the doctor comes to. I’d secured him to the chair with duct tape earlier, and he begins thrashing around and shouting around the object inside his mouth.
“Careful. Don’t choke on your own dick,” I tell him with a smirk. I cut that worthless thing off and crammed it in his mouth before duct taping it closed.
Looking down, his face goes white at the sight of the blood soaked through his boxers. He begins screaming.
He was bleeding profusely but I cauterized the wound. I don’t want him bleeding out too soon. That kind of death isn’t what he deserves. Oh no, he deserves so much more pain and anguish for the crimes he committed.
“Savina Cipriano,” I announce, and that seems to grab his attention.
His screams turn into tortured grunts. I press down on his bound wrist; and with my other hand, I position my sharpest pair of wire cutters over his right index finger.
“You touched her. You violated her,” I tell him through gritted teeth, as I begin snipping off his fingertips.
The doctor cries in agony, but it’s not enough. I need more. So much more.
“You violated every victim on that computer of yours. And I’m here for their justice,” I inform him before cutting through his fingers.
The wire cutters don’t cut through the bone, of course; so I just pull the flesh off with the sharp metal.
His bony fingers go limp as his body starts to go into shock.
“Don’t pass out on me,” I warn, slapping his face until he comes to once more. “We’re just getting started,” I tell him with an evil grin.
It takes me over two hours until the doctor finally loses consciousness and I can’t revive him any longer.
A sick sense of satisfaction lingers in the air that I made him pay for his crimes against those women and children.
But there’s also some disappointment that the torture couldn’t have gone on longer, because I was prepared to go all night.
Smashing the computer tower on the ground, I locate the hard drive and secure it in my pocket, along with the doctor’s cell phone. I know a guy who will erase and dispose of everything for me. I’ll make sure no one ever sees those images of Savina ever again.
Spraying a bottle of accelerant over the doctor’s disfigured corpse, I lead a trail of it down the stairs and into the kitchen. I step outside, my lungs practically screaming in joy at the smell of fresh air instead of blood and decay.
I quickly remove my protective gear, coveralls and gloves and throw them in a pile, along with the bottle of accelerant.
Then, I turn and pull my lighter out of my pocket.
Flicking it open, the flame dances in front of me before I bend down and set the pile on fire.
It ignites quickly, the blue and yellow trail of fire burning its way through the kitchen and up the stairs.
I grab my backpack and take a few steps back.
When I see the inferno erupting in the bedroom upstairs, I’m satisfied with my handy work.
Being that no one is likely occupying the nearby buildings, I’m sure the home will be a total loss and burned to the ground before the fire department even responds.
I walk away slowly, my thoughts only on Savina. I was able to bring justice to the man who hurt her and many others. I can only hope that my actions bring her some kind of peace.
