Chapter Eight
Noemi
Watching Neko is my new entertainment.
We're not supposed to be doing any of the things we've been doing.
Not just going to the lower market. Or to that dirty pub.
He's not supposed to be coming into my bedroom to make me come and kiss me until the sun comes up.
He is not supposed to let me wrap my hand around him in the back seat of my town car while we head to lunch with my father.
"If you make me come before we get there," he hisses as I pump my hand, teasing him, loving how thick and hard he gets for me. "I will punish you later, princess."
"Hmm, is that a promise?" I hum back, swiping my tongue over the swollen crown.
"You know it is," he groans as I kiss a path up his neck, still stroking him, just about climbing atop him.
Now that he lets me touch him, I can't help myself. I want to touch him all the time. It's all I think about. Thankfully, he's good about letting me feed that obsession. I touch him whenever I want now. He touches me plenty, too, my moan as his mouth closes around my nipple filling the car.
"Hush, princess," he growls against my breast, pulling my lace bra back to cover it again. "Those sounds belong to me," he reminds me before I feel his fingers brush over my pussy, which is soaked. "Just as much as this pussy does."
Jesus, lord, this man is the sexiest creature.
He talks so filthy to me while making me see stars.
At night, after he makes me come with his fingers inside me or his cock rubbing against my swollen folds, he holds me so close.
Tells me how much he needs me now, how he won't ever let me go now that he found me.
"Yes, daddy," I moan as he brushes over my swollen clit.
"Fuck....say that for me again, princess."
I pull back, blinking at him as the car rolls to a stop. We're at the offices now. Not that my father deals in stocks or bonds or any sort of legal business at all. While I do not know exactly what he does, I know this steel and glass office downtown is for show.
"Say. It. Again," Neko growls, his fingers wrapped tight around my throat as his eyes search my face.
"Hmm, yes...yes, daddy" I whimper, crying out when he rubs hard at my clit now, pushing me over the edge I've been on since we got in this car.
"Fuck, that's my good girl. Yes, that's it, let daddy see you come."
Throwing my head back, I give in. I come hard, shaking against him when he pumps two thick fingers inside of me. Pleasure is addictive. At least the type of pleasure he gives me. I want him touching me, kissing me, whispering filthy things in my ear all day and all night. I can't get my fill.
"Y-yes daddy. I'm coming..." I moan as I collapse against him.
Neko hums as he gathers me close, crushing his mouth to mine. I open to his tongue, sucking at it the way that makes him hard. Settling on his lap, I rock a little against that hardness, but he stops me. I whine when he pulls his fingers from me, puts my panties back in place, and breaks the kiss.
"Later, princess. I will take care of my girl later. I promise."
Those two words, whispered so gently, mean everything. I know he means them every single time he says them. Even with bodyguards in the corners of every room of my life, I never felt safe. Not until Neko. I do not think I took a calm breath until he snuck inside my bedroom.
"I can wait, daddy," I tease, dipping to lick playfully at his mouth.
"That's my good girl. Now do not look at the other guys.
Not because you belong to me," he hums when I frown.
But we both smile because it is kind of that.
"Because I want them to see you without fear.
I want all of them to know whoever is out there in the shadows does not have you rattled.
Tell me why your psycho stalker does not have you rattled, princess. "
"Because my bodyguard is even crazier," I answer.
Neko smiles and lord, that is the same as being given a present. His smile is so beautiful it lights his eyes up. Only I get that smile. It shows up just for me, no one else. I beam back, bending to brush my lips over his one last time.
The door is thrown open before I climb off his lap.
But the look he gives our driver is a clue to keep his mouth shut.
He jerks his head, standing aside to let us out.
Neko gets out first, doing a quick surveillance scan of the offices.
Not that the five men he sent ahead of us did not do that for him.
Helping me out, he winks at me—lord above, the man is swoon worthy—and closes the door after me. I round the front to head inside with him close behind. Father demands I join him for lunch every Friday, without fail. I don't fight him on it because it's something we used to do with mother.
"Mother used to love these lunch dates," I tell Neko after we board the elevator that will take us to father's floor.
"We would get dressed up even. It was our date with daddy, she would say.
We had to look our best, I had to be on my best behavior.
I miss her. He misses her too, I know. I just wish... "
"Wish what, princess?"
"I know he is not a bad man. But I know he is also not a good man. I wish he loved us enough to walk away from whatever took her. I think he thought about it once. Sometimes I think..." I trail off as the doors open to my father waiting for me at his office door.
There is something wrong though. I sense it the moment I see him. His eyes seem...vacant. Even dead. I take a step forward to go to him. I call out his name but it sounds as if I am underwater. I do not move fast enough.
"Noemi, no!" Neko shouts after me.
I turn, confused, just in time to see it is not just my father waiting for me.
Other men, all in black, faces hidden, wait in the small foyer.
They do not just wait though—they're hiding.
From me, from Neko. Neko rushes forward, but someone is there, their arm coming down to crash a heavy fist against the back of his head.
"Neko! No!" I echo his words as he crumples to the ground. "Daddy, please, I don't understand...."
I reach for him, but he falls too. It is then I see he was not waiting for me. His eyes were dead for a reason. He is not gone, but he is not all there. Blood trickles down the side of his head as he crumples too. I am standing between to the two men in my life, my two worlds, and I am all alone.
"Lunch with daddy has been moved to a new location."
There is something familiar about the thick brogue of the man staring me down. I do not recognize his face even though his is not hidden. In fact, I think he wants me to see his face. He wants me to recognize him. Too bad for us both, I am looking at a complete stranger.
"Who the hell are you?"
It's a simple question. One I think he should expect after what just went down here. Clearly, he has something in mind for me. I think asking who this man is, what he wants, why he is here now, seems pretty valid.
"You know who I am, babydoll," he murmurs, taking a few steps close to me. I back up, not just to put distance between us—but to block his advance towards Neko.
"No, I really don't. Should I? I mean, have we met before?"
That weird smile on his face twists. It becomes sinister. His dark eyes go soulless. Footsteps pound on the marble floor before he backs me against the closed elevator doors. I cry out when his fingers wrap around my throat, where just moment's ago Neko touched me with such tenderness.
"You know me, Noemi. We... we're meant to be together. How can you pretend not to recognize me. It has been months but...you love me, babydoll. We were meant to be, remember? How could you forget me so fast?"
Blinking, I shake my head. His fingers tighten on my throat. "We...we do not know each other. Did you work for my father?"
"No, babydoll, I worked for you. I took care of you. Protected you. From them and from him," he rambles, pushing closer, pinning me painfully to the elevator doors.
"You will remember. When I take you home, you will remember."
I open my mouth to ask where home is, but a sharp prick in my neck shoots an icy cold straight through me.
My cry comes out muffled, as if I’m underwater.
My legs give out and I crumple to the floor, crashing beside Neko.
I reach for him, but my fingers won't move.
Darkness pulls my eyes shut, and my body slips completely out of my control.
"When we get home, you will remember."
