Chapter 70
SAGE
Four months later
I haven’t spent so much time thinking about college graduation in a long time, not since my parents died and it didn’t feel like the most important thing in the world anymore.
I used to have an itemized mental list, a solid plan for my life that I needed to check off and complete.
Graduate college, maybe go to grad school, start a career that I love, find a successful guy and settle down, get married and have a couple kids.
That is…until I moved to Blackmore.
With the changing environment, my goals changed too.
Looking back at the girl I once was makes me sad now, because all I cared about was reaching those goals. Getting everything I wanted because it was neatly planned out.
But why did I want any of it? At the end of the day, I was so fucking lonely that I don’t think any of it would’ve mattered in the end. I would’ve continued the fake life my parents had created, living a lie laced with diamonds.
I got lucky, even though my parents had to die to get me here, because I was able to see the things in life that are actually important. I got to know my grandmother, and she taught me in the small time we were together that there’s more to life than being the best of the best.
I came to Blackmore, and I found family and love, and I can see a future that’s so much more beautiful than anything I would’ve had as Sage Lindman. I have Beckham and Kaiden and Vinny and our shared love and our baby that we all made together.
My future may not include a traditional family or the success I thought I needed, but it includes love and peace and safety and happiness.
And that’s all I need as Sage Blackmore.
I have my town, and my guys, and our family.
That’s all I fucking need.
The day of our college graduation, I’m woken up with someone’s head between my legs.
I’m too consumed by the mix of sleep and pleasure, that it isn’t until an orgasm has rocked through me that I lift the blanket to see who it is.
My knees are shaking beside Vinny’s smiling face, and I reach down to thread my fingers through his silky hair. “Good morning.”
He wipes the side of his mouth with his thumb and crawls upwards until his face is resting over my swollen stomach. Circling the baby bump with his hands, he presses kisses there, mumbling against my skin as his mouth touches every inch. “Morning, princess.”
I slide my fingers through his hair lovingly. “Where is everyone else?”
“Downstairs.” He continues to crawl up my body until he’s out from under the blanket, and he sits back between my knees to look down at me. “I told them I would wake you up. Beckham’s making pancakes.”
He’s shirtless, only a pair of tight boxers on his lower half, so I reach forward and skim my fingers over his abs. His cock is hard under the fabric of his boxers, and I slide my hand under the material to rub him softly.
Groaning, his head drops back. “Princess… Fuck.”
My pussy is a dripping mess, and the waves of desire coursing through my body have me stroking Vinny’s dick faster, jerking him until he’s leaking precum in my hand on every swipe. His gaze seeks mine out, and I lick my lips. “Do you want me, Vinny?”
He nods, his mouth dropping open and his tongue coming out to lick his bottom lip. “Always.”
I spread my legs farther, and he positions himself at the apex of my thighs, then we’re both rolling our hips so he can slide inside me with a powerful thrust. He keeps my gaze as he fucks me, his hips pounding hard and fast.
After a few minutes, it’s his eye contact that has me screaming and writhing against the sheets, the moment feeling so intimate that I want to pull him inside me and never let him leave.
I grip the sheets between my fingers, watching as Vinny’s mouth drops open and he begins to pant. Moaning, I arch my back, and my stomach brushes against his. He fucks me harder, faster, making me shout and cry out his name.
“God, you’re so fucking sexy, princess.” He rubs his palm over my stomach, around my hips, over my thighs. “I can’t get enough of you.”
The door opens on the other side of the room, and we both turn to look at who it is. Beckham laughs as he crosses his arms over his chest. “I told you to wake her up. The food is getting cold!”
I reach for Vinny’s throat, pulling his face back to mine, and I kiss him hard enough that I forget about breathing altogether. He moans, and I pull back an inch. “Come, baby. I’m hungry.”
He laughs, sitting back on his knees and jack-hammering his hips as one of his hands goes to my clit and the other holds my hips in place.
“Jesus,” I hear Beckham say from where he’s leaning against the doorframe, but I keep my gaze on Vinny’s as my orgasm burns and throbs in my center, finally exploding when his cock pulses inside of me.
“Take it, princess,” Vinny says, leaning his head back as he fucks me through our shared releases. “Fucking take it, take it, take it.”
I cry through my climax, grabbing the sheets while Vinny’s release spreads inside of me, then we’re both stilling, our chests heaving as bliss takes over our bodies.
Vinny leans down and kisses me, breathing through his nose. “I love you.”
Curling my hand around his jaw, I smile. “And I love you.”
“Let’s goooooo!” Beckham says from the doorway. “Now I’m hungry and horny!”
Laughing, I push Vinny’s sweaty chest to get him up, then I swing my legs over the side of the bed. “Patience, B. Patience.”
He steps toward me, wrapping his hands around my naked body. “I made you pancakes, beautiful.”
“I heard,” I hum between my lips, then I catch the panties Vinny throws me from the dresser. Slipping my legs into them, I stretch my arms over my head, groaning. “My back hurts.”
“Why?” Beckham asks, grabbing me again as worry passes through his features.
I push him off with a playful look and take the shirt Vinny’s holding out to me. “Because there’s a melon-sized baby living in my ribs.”
“God, that sounds like something from a sci-fi movie,” Vinny groans, pulling on a pair of sweatpants.
“You’re telling me.” I roll my eyes as I slip the shirt on.
Vinny leads the way downstairs to the kitchen, where Kai is still at the table on his laptop. Sliding my hand through the back of Kaiden’s hair when I reach him, I smile as he looks up at me. “Morning.”
“About time. Beckham wouldn’t let me eat until you got down here.” Kai stands up and kisses me on the mouth, then he sits back down and goes back to whatever he’s doing on his computer.
Laughing, I circle the table and sit down between Vinny and Kaiden, watching as Beckham starts putting stuff down on the table.
Syrup, butter, a big plate of pancakes, and a plate of bacon are placed in the center of the table, and then he hands out empty plates to all of us before he gets a pitcher of juice from the fridge and fills four glasses.
Once Beckham sits down, I smile at him. “Looks great, B.”
“Our little chef.” Vinny pinches Beckham’s cheek playfully, and Beckham swats him away.
“Shut up and eat,” Beckham groans, and I laugh, reaching forward to get some pancakes.
Kaiden stares at his computer while he eats, even as the rest of us fall into conversation. After my plate is clean, I tap my fingers on the table next to the laptop, and Kai looks up at me.
“What are you doing?” I ask, raising an eyebrow.
“Trying to figure out how we’re going to pay for the construction we need to do on the house. I want the baby to have everything he needs, too. Crib, changing table, big bookshelf with every fairy tale you can think of,” Kaiden growls.
“We have months to figure that out, Kaiden,” I say, trying to ease his mind, and he shrugs.
It was Kaiden’s dad’s idea to do construction on the house, adding an extra bathroom downstairs and a nursery upstairs. He’s been helping out a lot, writing up blueprints and finding the most beautiful materials to build the furniture with.
He’s been more accepting than anyone else of our situation, and he’s really excited to be a grandfather.
He even talks about what holidays will be like with all of us.
I think after so many years of missing Kai’s mom, he finally has a shot at a happy family again, and he wants to soak in that feeling no matter what.
I decided that I’m not going to grad school or seeking further education for now. If it’s meant to be, it’ll happen when the time is right. I want our baby to have my full attention, at least until kindergarten.
Vinny and Beckham have jobs lined up, both outside of town in the city, and it’ll be hard with the commute, but it’ll be worth it. We’re all hoping one day Blackmore will be a bigger town, and maybe we’ll have something to do with that.
Maybe I’ll revive the Blackmore name, run for mayor or something. Who knows? All I know right now is that the future is ours, and we can have anything we want.
Vinny clears his throat. “I can sell my house.”
“No,” Kaiden says, shaking his head. “It isn’t necessary.”
“Why not? It’s not like we’re ever going to live in it again. This house is bigger.” He waves around the room.
I look at Kaiden again. “Relax, please. I have my parents’ money, the insurance, gran’s money, and my uncle’s… We’re going to be fine, Kaiden.”
Kaiden sighs, putting a hand on my chin. “I just don’t want you to worry about anything.”
“I know.” I smile, standing up. Kai’s hand immediately goes to my stomach, and I step closer to him. “How about we worry about graduating before anything else?”
He looks up at me, circling my belly with his palm. His face splits into a smile. “The baby is kicking me.”
“It’s always kicking when you’re near.” I grin, and he puts his other palm on my stomach as well.
“Maybe the baby already knows you’re the mean daddy,” Beckham says, and I laugh a little harder than I should.
Kaiden narrows his eyes at Beckham. “Maybe you should remember that I’m the mean daddy too.”
Vinny chokes on his juice. “That sounded kinky.”
Shaking my head, I step around the table to grab my phone to check the time, then I turn to look back at my guys. “Can you guys be ready in the next hour? I have something to show you before we head for graduation.”
