Chapter 5 Indi #3
I gasped at the grand interior, which only surpassed the building’s exterior.
It was as if we had stepped into the past, perfectly preserved, every inch of the interior resembling what you’d find in a period piece.
The high ceilings were covered in hand-painted masterpieces, complemented by the ivory and marbled molding, coated in gold.
Golden, opulent scones and chandeliers hung all around, mimicking the styled furniture and paintings which pulled the entire atmosphere together, completed with real marbled floors.
It felt so unreal and was absolutely breathtaking.
“I–I don’t understand.” I spun around, admiring all the architecture before stopping in front of my brother. “What is this place?” It almost resembled a high-scale hotel, but there seemed to be so much more to it.
A second attendee approached Haze. “Mr. Osvaldo?” He nodded to the attendee.
“A pleasure. Your table is ready per your request. Right this way, please.” My brother took my arm as we followed the man through the main room, down a winding hall, and into a separate section of The Green Goddess.
One that resembled a five-star restaurant, seeping with nothing but immaculate taste and smells.
I admired every inch of the restaurant as we followed behind the attendee past numerous tables of lively guests and people. “So, is this place a hotel? Or a restaurant?” I asked quietly. “Or both?” I giggled to myself, excited about this little adventure.
Haze smirked. “Let’s just say, The Green Goddess has a little bit of everything.” We passed a live band, dressed in matching white suits as they played soft jazz. I struggled to look away, stunned by the overwhelming opulence. It felt otherworldly.
The attendee led us to a set of stained-glass double doors.
“Your private table.” The attendee opened the doors which led to a private balcony.
The balcony was surrounded by golden sconces and burning candles in all directions, completed with a vase of fresh flowers in the center of the formal table.
The ivory balcony looked as though it had been carved from the building itself and looked over the entire countryside.
It nearly took my breath away to see such an elegant setting.
“I shall return with your meal shortly. Sir. Madame.” The attendee offered a gentle bow as he left, closing the doors behind him.
I stepped closer to the hand-carved ivory balcony edge and gasped at the view. It was stunning. Trees and nature surrounded the building as far as the eye could see. It felt so surreal. “How the fuck did you find this place?” I asked. I turned to look back at my brother.
Haze picked up a glass of champagne from the table. He then walked over to my side and took a sip while his free hand rested along my lower back. “Would you believe me if I said Felix?”
My head snapped. “Felix?”
He nodded and took a second sip. “Well, and Aiden.” He stared off into the distance. “Yup. It seems our big brother has some deep connections.” His eyes lowered and I knew there was something else.
My body rotated to face him as my back rested against the balcony edge.
“Explain it to me.” Haze made a face. “How is it that our big brother, the soldier who was kicked out of a top secret military organization, came to find a place like this?” My fingers twirled as I motioned around the balcony.
“And don’t tell me this has anything to do with this secret underground thing he claims to be a part of now. ” Haze’s expression hardened. “Haze.”
He opened his mouth to speak right as the balcony doors opened and the attendee returned.
Why are we always being fucking interrupted?
Haze and I watched as the attendee stepped out onto the balcony and offered a brief bow.
“Your meal, Mr. Osvaldo.” He clapped his hands and motioned to a slew of waiters behind him.
They slithered onto the balcony, carrying trays upon trays of over the top elegant entrees.
“I also brought more champagne and dessert, compliments of the chef.” The waiter stood there, his arms behind his back until everything had been perfectly placed around the table.
“Enjoy.” The attendee and waiters all bowed before exiting the balcony, closing the doors behind them.
Haze made a face. “Fucking Felix.” We both laughed as we sat down at the table and stared at all the food. “I mean, you got to hand it to him, this place is—”
“Insane!” I shouted. “I mean, fuck.” I shook my head, baffled at how polar opposite everything was from my normal life. “Who lives like this? I mean, imagine living this way normally.” My eyes rose to meet his.
“Would that be so bad?” Haze cleared his throat.
“Indi, I need to tell you something, but I need you to just listen, okay?” He wore such a serious look across his face.
“Remember how I mentioned that underground network that Felix is a part of?” I didn’t respond.
“Well, it’s true. Our brother was recruited by that network not long after he was kicked out from the military. It’s called Charlotte’s Web.”
That’s a weird fucking name.
“You see, Charlotte’s Web is this huge secret organization that no one outside of it knows about. It’s all over the world and consists of people like Felix. Which is how I was able to bring you here tonight.”
“I–I don’t understand. What does dinner have to do with any of that?”
Haze cleared his throat. “Well, this place, The Green Goddess? It’s part of Charlotte’s Web. One of many places, actually. Some are like this, others like The Red Eye—all of which are owned and operated by members of the web.”
“Wait, Felix’s network—Charlotte’s Web—owns The Red Eye?”
He nodded. “How else did you think I was able to sneak out on Halloween to see you?” He took another sip of champagne.
“Charlotte’s Web has been protecting me since I left that night.
If it wasn’t for them, and Felix’s help, I’d probably be in jail right now.
” He stared at the bubbling champagne in his glass.
“My point is, this shit goes way deeper than either of us can imagine. It’s fucking impressive, really. ”
Sounds like it.
I looked down at the table and spotted a small chocolate brownie. Haze watched as I picked it up and admired it closely. “Think it’s anywhere near as good as yours?” I asked.
He shook his head. “Indi. I’m trying to talk to you.” I knew he was, but right now, I didn’t want to talk. I wanted to enjoy my evening.
I shrugged and carefully took a small bite and savored the flavor. “Mmm. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely missing something.” My eyes moved back to him. “Something…warm.”
Haze’s jaw tightened as he eyed me closely. “Careful, little sis. We’re not hidden away in our room. Anyone could catch us.”
“And?” Truthfully, just being out with him, knowing he’d spent so much time and energy to set tonight up, made me horny as hell.
I casually kicked my elbow out, knocking a fork onto the floor. “Oops.” I slowly scooted my chair back and gathered my dress, making my way under the table and to his lap.
Haze groaned as I carefully unzipped his pants and freed his hardened dick.
“Indi.” He cleared his throat and adjusted himself in the chair as I began to carefully stroke him, still wearing my gloves.
“Fuck.” I wasted no time, slipping my mouth around his dick, bobbing as he squirmed.
I carefully pushed the fabric of my dress aside and began to finger myself, moaning along his shaft as I sucked him off.
It was exhilarating, knowing damn well anyone could walk out onto the balcony and see us.
I was excited and horny, holding nothing back as I moved faster, working both of us up.
I knew the sounds of my own building pleasure would work their magic.
I wound him up tight and watched as his hand curled over the armrests of his chair.
I could hear him struggling as he tried to resist the urge to spew his hot semen all down my throat.
But it was no use. I was also nearing my own orgasm, and the sounds I was making, alongside how eagerly I sucked him off, made him break.
And soon enough, he was coming all inside my mouth, just as I came under the table.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” He thrust his pelvis forward, groaning as he continued to come and fill my mouth. I struggled not to swallow it all or make a mess, feeling his hot, sticky cum drip down my chin.
“Fuck, Indi,” Haze groaned as I carefully crawled from under the table. His forehead was sweating and his cheeks were flushed, and from how full my mouth had been, I knew he had come hard. “I don’t think I’ve ever come that fast before. You happy?” he asked sarcastically with a smile.
I spat a mouthful of his cum into an empty glass, pleased with how much I was able to save.
“I am.” I licked my lips as he watched. “Let’s just hope this brownie tastes the same as yours, now that it has your special little ingredient.
” He watched as I dipped the brownie into his cum and took a bite.
The flavors paired decently together, but it wasn’t the same as when he made it.
“Well?” he asked with a raised brow.
I leaned back in my chair and swallowed. “I have to say, I’m a little underwhelmed.”
He made a face. “Underwhelmed?”
I shrugged. “I don’t know, maybe it’s the brownie.” I examined it in my hand.
Haze scoffed. “Of course it’s the fucking brownie.” He almost sounded offended.
I smiled, having too much fun. “I don’t know, I’m not an expert. Maybe you should try it and tell me what it’s lacking.” I half expected him to turn my offer down, but he didn’t.
Instead, Haze grinned and leaned back in his chair. “Only if you feed it to me.”
I felt a bolt of electricity between my legs as I stood.
Haze watched me closely while I leaned forward and dipped the brownie into his cum, completely soaking it.
He followed my every move as I walked around the table and stopped behind him.
My gloved fingers grazed along his arm as I raised my hands to his chin and forced his head back.
“Open up, big brother.” He grinned and opened his mouth wide, extending his tongue.
But instead of simply dropping it into his mouth, I placed the cumsoaked brownie into my own, and chewed.
Haze grabbed my face and pulled my mouth to his as I spit the saliva and cumsoaked brownie into his mouth. He swallowed and then kissed me, tasting the dessert as we kissed some more. I slowly broke free from his lips and pulled away, smiling as I returned to my seat.
“Well?” I asked as I cleaned my fingers.
Haze used his thumb to clean the smeared brownie from the corner of his mouth, licking away the crumbs while he watched me.
“You’re right. Not as good as mine.” He grinned before taking another sip of champagne.
I chuckled to myself, both amused and turned on by the idea of him swallowing his own cum.
He motioned to the many plates before us.
“You should eat. You’re going to need all the energy you can get for what I have planned for you.
Especially since we’re staying here tonight. ”
“Here?” I nearly dropped my glass. “But, how? And what about Kush?”
He leaned back and smiled. “Aiden’s taking care of Kush. And as for The Green Goddess, well, it’s many things…including a full luxury hotel. Felix booked us a suite.”
“Fucking Felix.” I smiled.
Haze shook his head and laughed as well. “Fucking Felix.”
Haze picked at the food as I ate. We talked for what felt like forever, enjoying the night. It felt perfect, until I noticed his smile fade away.
“What is it?” I asked, drinking my champagne.
He played with the silverware in front of him as he smoked his vape. “I haven’t been completely honest with you, Indi.”
Fuck. Now what?
He exhaled. “You see, when Felix took me in…well, I kind of had to make a choice. Though, it didn’t really feel like one at the time.”
I made a face. “What kind of choice?” I asked.
Haze played with his vape. “The only way Felix could really help me out was if I chose to join Charlotte’s Web.
I would have told him to fuck off, but he explained it further, and one of the reasons I agreed, was you.
” His eyes lifted and met mine. “So, in exchange for protection for you, I joined.” My body froze as he looked at me, waiting for some kind of response. “Indi? Did you hear me?”
I tried to gather my thoughts. “I’m sorry, did you say you joined Charlotte’s Web? Like, as in the whole underground illegal network thing?” He nodded. “Haze. What the fuck?” He didn’t speak as I tried to process what he said. “So you and Felix both work for this…illegal network? Why?”
He exhaled a cloud of smoke. “Because it was the only way to keep you safe.”
And we’re back to that.
Haze leaned forward. “Indi, if there was any other way to protect and keep myself from being locked up, I would’ve found it.
But there isn’t. Charlotte’s Web offers protection for the both of us.
Being a member gives me an unlimited amount of resources, available whenever I need them.
The apartment, the cars, the bikes, your phone and safety?
It’s all thanks to them. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of that on my own. ”
“But at what cost?” I asked.
His jaw tightened. “No cost is too great when it comes to you, Indi. As long as I do what's asked of me, I can protect you.”
So that’s why he had to leave. It wasn’t because he wanted to, but because he had to.
I tilted my head. “What is it you do for Charlotte’s Web?”
He shrugged. “Mostly reconnaissance. They seem to like how good I am at stalking people.” He smirked.
“Interrogation is another thing I help with, but there’s only been a few times when I’ve had to do it.
Apparently I struggle with self-control.
” He rolled his eyes and took a large hit from the vape.
“Hell, my job is better than Felix’s.” He coughed.
“What does Felix do?” I asked curiously.
Haze sighed. “The same thing he did in the military. He kills people.”
My heart sank at the idea of my older brother killing someone. Sure, he’d mentioned it before, but I really never thought anything of it. Until now.
“Is that why you brought me here? To tell me what you’re doing? To show me?”
Haze shook his head. “No. I brought you here, little sis, because I wanted to ask you something.” He took a deep breath. “I want you to join us.”
My entire body stiffened as my face drained of color. I had to focus on what he had asked me, unsure if I even heard him correctly.
“What?”
He smirked and blew smoke into the night. “I want you to join Charlotte’s Web.”
