Cage
Damn, I don’t want to leave. She’s all warm and cozy and so fucking sweet. I just want to stay locked in this bed and in her arms, but all hell is breaking loose, and I’ve got to go deal with club shit.
“But I don’t have to work this morning.” She gives me the cutest damn puppy-dog eyes. That pout on her lips is making my dick hard. And I just got done fucking her. Damn, I’m obsessed.
“I’d give anything to stay, darling. But we have a rival club trying to wage a war, and they’re currently holding a girl hostage.
” Though, we’re all starting to get the feeling that they have no intention of giving her back.
One of the Venomous prospects let it slip that Vicious, the Prez, has made his claim on her.
But Aster, Tiny T’s daughter, doesn’t seem on board with that plan.
Good news is that since the Prez has taken a liking to her, she’s safe.
For now, at least. But if he realizes she’s never going to submit to him, he’ll make sure no one else can ever have her either.
“They are?” Payton sits up, looking concerned.
“Yes.” I lean in, kissing the tip of her cute little nose.
“We were tearing up the streets trying to find her last week. We think we finally know where she’s being held.
” In Vicious’s bed at his remote cabin. “Not sure when we’ll have to head out next, but I’ll be sure to let you know.
And if we ain’t leaving tonight, you better believe I’ll be right here in this bed, buried between those sexy thighs. ”
Not gonna have a repeat of this last time. The thought of losing her actually scared the shit out of me. Don’t think I’ve ever felt so out of fucking control. That bartender almost lost his life had it not been for the girl that was in my arms. Her sweet scent calmed me enough to think rationally.
“What if I have plans tonight, Outlaw?”
There she goes again trying to rile me up. That flirty little smirk is making my dick so fucking hard, I’m not going to be able to walk out of here without sinking inside her again.
“Then I’ll be begging you to cancel those plans, Cowgirl.”
I lean in and give her a kiss, sliding softly against her tongue. Gettin’ tangled up and turned on.
“Just kidding. I’ll be waiting right here for you to come and get me.”
I slide right inside her wet heat, both of us moaning in unison.
“You better be here. You better be lying here, just like this.”
Spread open, wet and ready. It feels so fucking good. Feels like this is exactly where I’m meant to be.
I smile down at her pretty face all flushed and glowing, and I give her a wink.
“Alright, doll. I’ll call you in a bit.”
She nods, smiling. Too breathless and worn out to form words. I like knowing that I’ve exhausted that little body. And later… I’ll be coming back for more.
“See ya later, pretty girl.”
“Can’t wait, Outlaw.”
I close her door on my way out of her room, hoping that she’ll get some sleep and rest up. I need her ready for me.
“I have something I want to say to you, Cage.”
I startle at the sound of her roommate’s voice. Chassie’s sitting on the sofa, quietly reading a book. I’d gotten the impression from my girl that we were alone. But it is cuttin’ close to noon, so she could’ve come home hours ago.
“What’s that?” I ask, turning to face her.
“That girl is one of the most amazing people I know and doesn’t need a man like you playing with her heart. If you don’t have good intentions, then you need to walk away now because I will not stand by and let her get hurt.”
Have to say, Chassie just earned my respect. It’s clear she’s a loyal friend, and that’s a trait that’s hard to find.
“Between you and me, Chass, I’m falling hard and fast for that girl. My only intentions are to love her, so you can trust that she’s safe with me.”
A gasp from behind me has me turning. I’d thought Payton would be fast asleep by now, but she just heard what I had to say. She’s suddenly rushing toward me and jumping into my arms. I brace her around my hips, trying not to fall backwards as she kisses the hell out of me.
“I’m in love with you too, Cage.”
Never knew words could feel so good. But hearing that from my girl just made me a happy man.
“Sure damn hope so, doll. Because I’m not giving you up.”
Have to say it’s different with her. I’d thought I was in love with Kimberly, but I’m beginning to realize that I wasn’t.
At least, not like this. Those feelings didn’t even come close to what I feel for Payton.
This is the woman I want to spend my life with.
She’s the one I want to build a family with.
And I’m not waitin’ years to do that. If I get my way, I’ll be walking her down the aisle before the end of the year.
But first, I’ve got to get my ring on her finger.
