Epilogue

A few months passed without any difficulties, and the business was growing stronger and faster.

They had the teens that they needed, and they were no longer behind.

The office staff were needed because the business was continuing to grow.

It might even be the fault of the human racists because they had made a lot of people in the area nervous when they had heard about attacks.

It was really a good idea for everyone to have some kind of security, especially if they could afford it.

Those living in some of the rural areas in this region needed it more than anyone.

It wasn't just for protection from attacks, but just two weeks ago, they'd had a pregnant lady who had been home alone and not expecting to go into labor for at least a month.

There had been no car for her to drive to the hospital, and one of their security specialists had to run to her house to pick her up and take her to the hospital.

They barely made it, but luck had been with him, and the baby had been born at the hospital, and she'd been healthy and pretty.

They'd also had a youngster who was old enough to be legally alone but not very capable, who'd set the house on fire and totally freaked out.

A security specialist arrived quickly and helped put out the fire without the need for the fire department, which had already been called anyway.

They were all lucky that the house in question had been close to the office.

Just a few miles down the road, this particular security specialist was on call most nights and lived in the upstairs part of the office house.

Having a specialist or two living upstairs at the office had worked well at other locations, so they decided to do the same.

Upstairs was a two-bedroom apartment with a bathroom, kitchen, and living room area.

Rent was part of their pay, and that made everyone happy.

Many rural areas like this had a shortage of housing, and Carlos had already decided to build several apartment houses not only for the people who worked for him but also for anyone looking to rent a place.

Now for the biggest surprise evolve, she was expecting.

It looked like she had gotten pregnant the first time that they had been together.

Some of these alpha wolves were potent. Cally had to admit she was happy about it, even though it was a little sooner than she might have wanted.

She thought it was a girl, and Carlos thought it would be a boy.

In about four months, the mystery will be solved.

She thought he was just scared of having to take care of a little girl.

He'd known how bad he'd been with women, and he didn't want to risk anyone treating his daughter that way.

Fate could just kick you in the butt sometimes.

Next month they were going on a honeymoon to Hawaii.

He'd wanted to surprise her, but he'd left too much information lying around and his computer open to sites that listed the best places to go in that state.

That's OK because she didn't need a surprise; she just needed a good vacation, and so did he.

Harry had come by to visit and said that she would come to see them while they were in Hawaii.

As much as they loved her, they didn't want to visit.

Harry had a habit of coming at the worst possible time.

Carlos' parents would be there just before they left and take care of everything while they were on their honeymoon.

That way, there would be nothing to worry about.

There would be nothing but love and fun, and when the heavy moon was over, the family planning would begin.
