Chapter 35 Harry

Harry

Iwas wrecked. I couldn’t sleep after cleaning myself up. The emotional whirlwind of coming while listening to Dom fucking someone else was eating me alive.

I woke to a beam of bright light through the small circular window on my right, and lay there again, staring at the ceiling, wondering what I was going to do when I, as Dom said, ‘got everything I wanted’.

I had to be on deck earlier than most to practice my next round of speeches. Now that the vote had passed, Mum couldn’t run interference.

Well, that was the idea, at least.

I emerged onto the deck with my Fischer mask in place, glad to breathe some fresh air. My room still stank of sweat and cum. I was turning onto the main deck when I flinched, coming face-to-face with Dom.

Jerking back, my heart thudded so hard in my chest that I choked.

“Hey,” he said, a bright smile on his face. “There you are.”

I wasn’t sure how to react, but I didn’t need to think as Dom reached out, tugging me into a hug. “I was looking for you,” he murmured into my ear, the brush of his warm breath setting off a fresh round of heat that was almost as strong as last night.

The chaos of feelings that had been churning inside me burst to life again, and I let myself soften in his arms. That’s all I would give myself. His light scent, his hard chest against mine, the strength of his arms around me. And he smelled of sex.

“I thought you’d be at the fireworks, but I guess you slipped off at some point.” He gave me a squeeze before he leant back. “I was going to come to your room and check on you, but I figured you were knackered after everything.”

A bolt of fear spiked through me as I realised how close I was to being discovered. If he’d knocked on the door, if he’d called my name when I was fucking myself. Christ, if I’d opened the door…

“How are you?” Dom asked, his hands stroking from my shoulders down to my elbows. “Did you get some sleep in the end?”

I stared up at him, trying to find any trace of remorse or even some sense of what he’d done to me, since he hadn't cared about it last night in his room.

But there was nothing there. He was just smiling down at me without a care. Dressed in the same clothes as yesterday, with light blond stubble, his hair frazzled, and bloodshot eyes.

He didn’t even have the decency to wear a clean suit. It was unlike him, but maybe Darcy really was just that good.

My desire was sending me out of control. So I simply pulled myself from his grasp and walked away, heading for the stairs to the upper deck, and away from him. Fists clenched, jaw tight, chest heaving as I reminded myself that Dom had done nothing wrong.

These were my feelings to deal with. Not his.

“Harry!” he called after me, catching up, grabbing my arm from behind. “Hey,” his voice softened. “What’s wrong?”

I turned on him, fully aware that we were in public, though we were partially hidden by the stairs.

“Really?” I hissed. “You’re asking me that after last night?”

“What are you talking about?”

“Darcy,” I said, glaring at him. “You kept me up for hours.”

His eyes widened as he backed down. “I’m sorry, handsome, but that wasn’t me.”

I tried to back away again, but he held me firm.

“Don’t call me that,” I said. It was too much. Too close. His pet name forced any kind of resistance or anger I might have had to waver.

“Harry.” Dom’s tone lowered as he moved towards me. “It wasn’t me, I promise.”

“Then why are you wearing yesterday's clothes and smell like you were fucking in them, too?”

His response was to move closer, standing right in front of me. But this time, I stepped back, only to bump against a hard wall behind me.

“Harry, I—” He squeezed his lips together, looking away from me, the same hurt from yesterday creeping into his gaze. He blew out a heavy breath. I forced myself to stay focused on his eyes, and not drop my gaze to his lips. “I’m not… I’m not fucking around anymore.”

I shook my head, bunching my fists to stop myself from wrapping my arms around him to take away whatever pain he was in. “I honestly don’t care, Dom. Do what you want. Just don’t do it like that.”

Something inside him snapped, the darkness returning to his face as he moved quicker than I could react.

Suddenly, his hands slammed into the wall beside my shoulders, caging me in as he bore down on me.

I gasped as his presence surrounded me, blocking me out from the world. Shock shuddered through me, joined by raw fire in my veins as he drew closer.

We were in public, and one wrong word to the wrong person could be deadly.

I lifted a hand, pushing against his chest, pressing him away from me. My brow creased as I looked at him in confusion.

“What are you doing?” I whispered, questioning the harsh glare that replaced the need in his eyes.

It didn’t feel like flirting. He looked too serious for that. But how else could I explain his sudden change?

His heart raced under my palm like I wanted it to yesterday when I touched his glass necklace.

“Harry.” His voice was low, filled with a need that echoed mine. “The only person I wanted to fuck in that room last night was you,” Dom said, throwing all his intensity on me at once, rough as he pressed closer.

My breath vanished as all my senses exploded.

His gaze was too strong, his jaw hard, determination bright in his eyes as he swept his hands up to my ears, his elbows bending as he leaned in.

The desire that had been taking me for weeks every time I stroked myself was nothing compared to the storm raging through me as his lips moved closer to mine.

“Dom…” I said on a quiet breath. “Please…”

He was still flirting, teasing me. It was what he did, though he had never gone so far.

His fingers swept my neck, tracing over the birthmark he loved so much before he buried his hand in my hair. He pressed his chest against me, setting me on fire with the softest touch. I jerked as his thigh slid between mine, and he brought his lips closer, his heart picking up speed.

“I can imagine how easy it would be to make you gasp,” he sighed, his cheek against mine. “I could do it right here, handsome. Just drop to my knees and suck you off in front of the whole yacht. Just as long as you promise to cry my name when you come.”

I fell back against the wall, my legs barely able to support me. My lips parted, trying to tell him someone could walk past any second, but all that came out was a quiet moan that only grew more desperate as his knee pressed, spreading my thighs further.

“Oh, fuck, Harry,” Dom groaned, pushing even harder against me. “Will you make that noise for me again?”

Was it still flirting as he brought himself so close that I was sure his hips were only inches from mine?

All he had to do was lift his knee and he’d feel how my cock was hardening for him.

One part of me wanted him to, to finally bring me some relief from this madness.

But I had no guarantee that he wouldn't take advantage of me.

If he knew how I felt, we could end up losing years of friendship simply because I wanted to taste him, even once.

I told myself that I should trust him. That I knew him better than that. That he wouldn’t do something like that. But then his lips pressed against my neck, and I shuddered under him.

“Dom,” I said weakly, any kind of fight flying from me as his stubble scratched my cheek, and he kissed my neck again.

“Is this what you want?” he murmured against me, moving along my jawline.

I arched my neck, giving him more room to run his lips down my throat, nudging my ear with his nose as I sighed under him.

I was so close to saying it. If I told him yes, that I craved him, and said how deeply I longed to feel his warmth against me, then my betrayal of Molly would become real.

But I couldn't use that as an excuse anymore.

Even Dom touching me like that was too far. I couldn’t pretend it was friendly when tiny moans were dropping from my lips.

“Jesus, you are so fucking sweet,” he groaned as he pulled back, looking down at me.

I could see in his face he was going to kiss me. Or maybe I wanted to see that there.

All my resistance fled as I sagged, giving in to him. I wanted him too much to deny him any longer.

I pressed my back flat against the wall, our breaths melding.

“I won't stop, handsome,” he warned, his eyes wild with need. But I couldn’t tell him to, not when he looked at me like that.

The words were on the tip of my tongue, telling him to do it, telling him to kiss me.

He stretched it out, making it worse by pressing his hard cock against my leg, pulling a deep shudder from me just as a wide grin split his lips. He knew he had me.

“Is that enough for you?” he asked, grinding himself against me so hard that his cock pressed into mine, sending sparks flooding through me, straight to my ass. It was like I could already feel him inside of me. “I can take this so much further.”

I hated how much he liked to tease me. “Are you really going to make me say it?” I choked out.

He chuckled as he brought his lips closer. “I need to hear it, Harry. I need you to tell me how much you want me.”

I whimpered against him, not caring how pathetic I sounded when his body was moulded to mine. We held each other’s gazes, panting, waiting, sinking into the tension that he had forced by pressing into me.

The hand that was pressed against his chest twitched, my fingertips brushing the sea glass as I gripped his collar.

I closed my eyes, knowing I would regret it as I gave the smallest of tugs, pulling him down to me.

“Fuck,” he whispered, his lips moments from mine.

Heart in my throat, I gave myself to him, relief pouring through me as his heat encompassed me.

I didn’t care if he saw it as nothing, that he was pushing me for fun. I wanted him too much to deny myself when he was offering so freely. Like he had with Darcy last night.

Dom’s light groan was all the encouragement I needed to turn on him again.

But the second his lips brushed mine, there was a burst of laughter from behind us.

“I’ll be back soon!” Darcy said as he fell through the door on my right, catching sight of us just in time to see me shove Dom away from me as he flinched back as well.

Dom released me instantly, jumping away, but it was too late.

Darcy had seen us.

Any softness I had for Dom vanished as every one of my muscles tensed up, the colour draining from my face.

Darcy’s eyes glittered, zipping between us with amusement.

“Dom…?” Darcy singsonged. “What are you doing out here?” he asked as he popped a hip, bending his arm to rest his hand there, observing us both.

Dom turned, straightening himself, all the weight he’d laid on me left me empty, cold without his touch.

An easy smirk crossed his lips. “Darcy,” he purred, “what have I told you about showing up uninvited?”

“I wouldn’t say I was uninvited.” Darcy shrugged with a hitch of one eyebrow. His gaze returned to Dom as he lifted the key from his pocket.

He held up his finger, the golden key hanging from the tip by a white ribbon, ‘Dominic Outrem’ emblazoned on the head.

Darcy's smirk deepened. “But it seems like I'm interrupting. Should I go?”

“It’s too late,” Dom said, adjusting his crumpled jacket as if nothing had happened. “Tell me, where did your friend go? Are you seeing him again?”

“Hmmm, no. He was only the star for one night, sadly. And he was such a good lay.” Darcy’s eyes landed on me.

“But you know all about that, don’t you?

” He grinned. “I swear I heard your phone buzz next door before my lovely waiter and I got started. You were in your room the whole time, weren’t you, you dirty boy? ”

I was proud of myself for keeping my mask up.

I wouldn’t let him see that his revelation was news to me. I wasn’t sure if knowing it hadn’t been Dom’s moans I listened to as I fucked myself made it better or worse.

“Darcy,” I said as I gathered myself, meeting him head on with my classic Fischer poise.

“You’ve forgotten who you’re talking to.

” I pushed myself off of the wall. “Might I remind you that you are presenting to the Board this month? I would hate for your chances to be spoiled by a simple conversation.”

His smile faltered only briefly before he caught himself. His posture lost its arrogance as his chin dipped, his eyes widening.

“Of course, yeah. I only wanted to say sorry for the noise I made last night.”

“I’m sure,” I said, “but it doesn’t change the fact that you are taking liberties with yourself. Ones I don’t appreciate.”

I adjusted the lapels of my jacket. “If you don’t mind, I believe some of the Board members are looking for me,” I said as I avoided Dom’s gaze, hoping he wouldn’t follow me.

My hands shook as I turned my back to them, trying to come to terms with what I'd just done as my lips buzzed from Dom’s kiss, and my heart thundered at the same speed as his.
