Epilogue 2

Harry

Tammy and Janie laughed as they explored the boulevard, past the columns topped with dancers swirling ribbons, racing through the garishly dressed socialites and influencers.

They complained as soon as Dom and I told them we were going to a funfair because it was ‘for kids’, until they found out it was a special event hosted by Bunny.

I left out the fact that Bunny only created it to prove she could run Foundation events. So, after the disaster of her circus party, the natural answer was to throw an event for over a thousand people on the bougiest streets in London.

“Still too old for the funfair then?” I asked them as they ran back to me with big smiles on their faces.

“No way! We’re going to have bragging rights for weeks.

” Tammy grinned. They started their final year at school after their summer break a year ago when Dom got full custody of them.

It had been two years since our relationship officially started, and we were living comfortably with the girls in a three-story flat while they attended their final year of school.

We'd specifically made sure to be free all Saturday for the girls. I was usually the worst for over-working, but Dom was a few hours late because a case had come up with Christian and Grace this morning, so I took them out myself.

“They have gold-leaf candy floss!” Janie burst out. “And it’s only £30!” I raised a brow. If Dom found out I’d spent £60 on a snack, he’d start nagging me about spoiling them.

“Please, Harry! Please, please, please. We’ll never ask for anything ever again, we promise!”

I laughed as they clutched their hands together in front of them, because we all knew that was a lie. Dom spoilt them rotten, but he still told me I wasn’t allowed to buy them anything that he hadn’t approved of. But he wasn’t there, so I could treat them to whatever they wanted.

“Fine, but don’t tell your brother, okay?”

They both lit up instantly, throwing their arms around me. I blushed as I shooed them off. They hugged me because they knew it embarrassed me.

I considered having kids when I was with previous partners, but it had never been anything concrete because work was so important.

But the girls were at the age where they could take care of themselves if we were swamped.

Though Dom or I made sure we were always there by dinnertime, it was a great way to prevent running myself into the ground.

Because taking care of them became one of the most important things in my life, along with loving Dom.

I couldn’t resist their smiles. Dom said they were more like his parents, but they had his cheekiness down to the wicked glint in their eyes. And they were good at getting what they wanted, just like him.

I rolled my eyes as I handed them the money, and they were giggling as they ran off to the sparkling booth.

Everything was over the top and completely like Bunny. From her pop songs pumping around the street to the fire breathers on top of buildings. People gave out free Bunny-branded merchandise, while screens played her movies and promos, and photos of her were plastered on every single booth and ride.

The bigger the event, the more chances of things going wrong, which is why I stayed as close to Tammy and Janie. The street wasn’t too packed; it was more about people suddenly stopping to take pictures and blocking the path.

The girls and I had already attended a small rock concert by a band supporting Bunny this morning, seen her most recent short movie, and even the food packaging had her face on it. It couldn’t get more Bunny than that.

But the girls were having an amazing time, so it was worth it to see them laughing and chattering.

They ran back to me as soon as they got their candy floss, gold leaf on their cheeks as they tucked in.

“You have to try some too!” Janie said, pulling a clump from her ridiculously pink ball.

“The guy at the booth said there’s a special message from Bunny on the stick!”

“Of course there is,” I chuckled as I munched on my piece, and we carried on walking down the street. I had to admit it was good.

I already had a bag on each arm, full of all the things they had scooped up while bouncing around, and I grinned along with them. Their excitement was infectious, and I couldn’t wait for Dom to arrive. There was nothing like his smile when he was with his sisters.

They were just finishing the last of the floss and cooing over the generic message on the stick with a picture of Bunny posing (“Go live your dream!”) when a pair of hands landed on my shoulders.

“What are you doing?” my favourite voice in the world hummed behind me.

The girls spun around, bursting into more smiles. “Harry bought us candy floss! We’ve eaten soooo much!”

“You’re making it sound like I’m a terrible influence,” I said.

“What did I tell you about spoiling them?” Dom asked as he nudged his nose against my cheek.

“It was just one thing,” I grumbled.

“And the caviar pizza,” Tammy piped up.

“Oh! And the truffle oil fries!” Her sister joined in.

“What about the steak sandwich? That was great!”

I eased away from Dom as his glare deepened. He was wearing a white t-shirt and casual jeans, and I loved it when his hair was ruffled, like he'd rushed here from home as soon as he finished with Grace and Christian because he couldn't wait.

“It’s a special occasion…” I cleared my throat. “And I got you something as well.” I pulled a keychain that I bought from a bag that was very clearly leftover stock that Bunny hadn’t been able to push for years.

It was a heavy metal ball with the logo for Max’s band, Clutch, printed on it.

Dom’s nose instantly wrinkled, and I laughed as I slipped it into his hand. “You’re lucky you’re so cute,” he grumbled, pressing a kiss to my temple. I sighed happily, squeezing his hand, even though the keychain was uncomfortable.

“Oh, my God! What did we say about getting all lovey-dovey in front of us?” Tammy held up her hand, pretending to shield her eyes.

“Come on, let’s go on the rollercoaster,” Janie said as she tugged at her twin’s arm. “We were waiting for you, Dom. You don’t want to disappoint us, do you?”

“You seriously want to go on the rollercoaster after you’ve eaten that much? Not a chance. I’m not driving you back home covered in puke,” Dom said.

“How about the Ferris wheel then?” I suggested. “That seems pretty mild.”

We all looked up to the large Ferris wheel that towered over the rest of the funfair. It nearly scraped the tops of the six-story houses that ran the streets, was bright pink, and each carriage was blacked out by an image of Bunny’s face.

“She didn’t think that one through, did she?” Dom asked.

There were fifteen carriages, and her face bent around the widest part, making her nose look huge, and it appeared as if she was glaring at everyone who attended the fair. It was very Big Brother-esque

“I’m sure her response was priceless when she saw it.” And Dom smirked in reply.

“I’ll tease her about it later. She loves when I do shit like that.” He smirked. “Are you going to hire her then?”

“I’ll see how she works with Mum. I don’t think Bunny-themed Foundation events would go down well, but she’s definitely hit the mark here. Everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves.”

Mum was still in charge of PR and fundraising for The Foundation, though she had grown quieter since she realised she couldn’t take the Director role from me. She did fight for a year, but it was a waste of resources, and she had much more fun being the centre of attention, like always.

The girls grabbed our hands, pulling us through the crowd to get to the Ferris wheel. Everything was exciting with them. They hadn’t grown up with the pomp and pageantry that I had, and I loved seeing their reactions to the things I took for granted.

As we reached the front of the line, Dom turned to them. “Why don’t you guys get your own carriage? Harry and I can hang out in the one behind you.”

They narrowed their eyes at us, and they probably figured out Dom's schemes already. They didn’t know how horny Dom got every time he was apart from me, but they knew their brother had been a playboy for a long time before we got together.

We paid for the carriage, and the girls waved at us before their door clicked shut.

As soon as the next carriage arrived, Dom dragged me inside, and he didn’t even wait for the door to shut fully before he cupped my cheeks and dragged me into a kiss.

Pleasure fluttered through me, and my hands went to his hips as he moaned. “God, I missed you so much.”

“You only left the house three hours ago,” I sighed, content as his lips travelled down my neck, and we wobbled as the carriage began its slow ascent.

“That’s still too long,” he hummed, nipping my collarbone and teasing the buttons of my shirt.

“We don’t have time for that,” I said, batting his hands away, but he got that look that said he had his eyes set on something else.

Dom kissed me again, lowering me into the seat. I would have worried that someone could see us, but Bunny’s face was so boldly printed on the carriage that it tinged the view in white and pink.

Dom was on his knees before I’d even got comfortable on the hard plastic, spreading my thighs open as he played with my fly. He was so good that it barely took him ten seconds to tear open the zip.

One finger stroked along my cock as he leaned in, kissing me again, teasing slow circles to wake my body up. We were only at the quarter-way point, but I was already moaning under him.

“That’s what I like to see,” he hummed as he bent down, tipped forward, and buried my cock deep into his mouth without hesitation.

“Dom, that's perfect,” I moaned as my head fell back, my fingers buried in his hair, and all I heard was him murmuring “I love you,” before he carried me away with his tongue.
