Chapter 13
CAM
“I’m sorry I was late,” I told Taylor later, once we made it from the front entry to my bedroom.
We were in bed. Naked. She was in my arms, her leg thrown over mine, her head on my chest. I was idly stroking her hair, reveling in the aftereffects of the most insane blowjob of my life and the fact that the woman of my dreams was in my arms. In my bed.
It was obvious when she got on her knees that she’d never done it before, which only made me harder and even closer to the brink of an orgasm.
I’d had to think about deworming calves to keep from coming the second she licked the head of my dick like a fucking ice cream cone.
She’d taken me deep, gagged a little, then pulled back.
But the suction, the heat, the eagerness, had me losing my fucking mind.
I’d warned her when I was about to blow, but instead of pulling back, she’d gripped the back of my thighs and took even more of me. When she swallowed and I felt the tight constriction of her throat–
D.O.N.E.
I came and came down her throat and she’d swallowed it all, except for the last little burst, where she opened her mouth and showed me how it coated her tongue.
Fuck, I was hard again just thinking about the sight of her. Eager to please. Sexy as hell.
“It’s okay,” she said, breaking me from my thoughts. “I didn’t think he was home. His car wasn’t in the driveway.”
“You could’ve waited outside so we could have gone in together,” I said, wishing she never had to have an encounter with her father solo.
“Yeah, but I wanted to get in and out. I guess that happened anyway,” she muttered. Her fingers idly roved over my stomach.
If given a few more minutes of her doing that, I’d be up for round three. Just from a simple caress of her finger.
I took her hand, held it in mine. “Shit, I had no idea the accident I was in with my dad was how your mom died.”
I scooped her up and settled her on top of me, my hands resting on her bare ass.
She looked down at me, those green eyes so open and alive. Now, they looked sad.
She shrugged her slim shoulders which made her tits rise. “I knew it was a multi-car collision, but I didn’t ever think about the other people,” she admitted.
“Me, neither.”
“You didn’t kill my mom,” she told me.
“Fuck, red. I can’t believe you have to say a sentence like that.” I squeezed her butt. “I know that. I do. It’s weird, because I remember the accident and now I can see it as the moment your entire life changed.”
She gaze dropped to my chin. Bit her lip. “Yeah. Things definitely changed. Dad changed.”
I studied her, made sure she was okay. Her mom died then. I’d been there, saw how bad the accident was. I hadn’t really thought about it in years, but I was thankful now that nothing had happened to Pops. It could have been him instead of Taylor’s mom easily enough.
“He never got over her,” she admitted.
“I’m starting to understand where he’s coming from. I don’t know what I’d do if something happened to you,” I admitted. She was my life. We were just starting to build something together. I couldn’t imagine if it was ripped away one winter night.
She leaned down. Kissed me. Softly and sweetly, and in a way that didn’t show off how uninhibited and into sex she was.
This was a heavy conversation, so I lightened it up. I’d be here for when she wanted to talk about her parents, about how hard it was going to be to cut her dad out of her life, but there was time.
“Therefore, you must come to work with me all the time,” I told her. “Stay with me around the clock.”
Her eyes widened, then she grinned. “I can’t do that!” she said with a laugh.
“Why not?” I was half serious. No, more than that.
“You’d get sick of me,” she said, which was ridiculous.
“Never,” I vowed.
She eyed me as if wondering if I was serious. After her ex, I could see why she’d doubt what a guy said to her. I wasn’t just a guy. I was her man. I’d tell her again and again until she trusted me. Until she trusted what we had between us. Knew it was real.
