DAHLIA
“Morning.” Felix wraps an arm around my waist and tugs me back against his chest.
“Morning,” I murmur back, wiggling closer. I can’t get over the feel of him spooning me. He got me off like this, we fell asleep talking like this, and now waking up like this? There’s a good chance I’ve died and gone to heaven.
His hand skirts up the front of his sweatshirt. Why yes, I did put it back on before going to sleep. I figured it worked its lucky magic last night, might as well soak up all of it I can. He cups my breast and squeezes gently, while pressing into me from behind. My body heats instantly.
“I dreamt of these last night,” he says as he moves his hand over to give the other boob the same treatment.
“You dreamt of my boobs?” I ask through a giggle.
“Oh yeah. They’re perfect.”
“You haven’t even seen them.”
He hums and rolls on top of me. Once he’s there, Felix scoots down so his face is at my belly button.
He lifts the sweatshirt and tank and presses a kiss there.
My stomach tightens and a delicious tingle shoots through me.
He works his way up so slowly, trailing kisses up my stomach, that by the time he gets to my nipples, the anticipation is killing me.
His mouth is warm as he covers one, palming the other. He flattens his tongue and licks a circle, then closes his teeth over the sensitive bud.
I arch into him. “Holy crap.”
He says something from underneath the sweatshirt and tank, but I can’t understand him.
“I can’t hear you over the ringing in my ears. Oh god, don’t stop.”
He gives my nipple one long lick and then pokes his head out.
“I said they’re perfect. I now have official confirmation.” He winks as he pushes my shirts up and then dives back in, licking and sucking, biting.
I’m writhing beneath him. Is it possible to orgasm from this alone? Because it feels real possible. Especially when he shifts and his hard length hits at the perfect spot between my legs.
He groans with me. I forgot I can touch him. My hands have been clutching the sheet, but I move them to his back. His corded muscles bunch and flex as he grinds slowly into me while still lavishing my breasts with attention.
Pounding on the door startles me.
“Rise and shine, asshole. Leaving for breakfast in twenty,” Lucas says, then knocks once more.
“Go away!” Felix calls, but it comes out all garbled because he doesn’t bother removing his mouth from my chest.
“Felix!” one of his sisters, I think it’s Holly, shouts. “Get up or I’ll make Teddy break down your door.”
“Unngh.” Felix sucks hard on my right nipple before popping off and meeting my gaze. “I’m sorry. I completely forgot. I have to go to a breakfast thing this morning.”
“It’s the most important meal of the day,” I quip. My pebbled nipples are wet, and the cold air makes me shiver.
“Fuck food. I want to stay here and devour you.” He ducks his head to kiss my breasts again.
“They won’t really break the door down, will they?” I ask, just a hint of nerves creeping in. I mean, it’s pretty obvious what we’re doing in here, but I’m not sure how I feel about his roommates seeing us.
“It’s real possible, hot stuff.” He looks up and grins. “Don’t worry. I won’t let them see your perfect tits.” He pulls the sweatshirt back over his head. I love the way his light scruff feels against my skin and the warmth of his mouth, the playful bites and searing hot sucks.
I don’t want to leave his bed. Don’t want this incredible night to end. I asked for one night and he gave it to me, but what happens next? Do we go back to pretending to date and keeping our hands (and mouths) to ourselves?
When we get the five-minute warning yell and coordinating knock on the door, Felix reluctantly pulls away.
“I really hate them right now.” His hands glide down my waist and he sits back, still straddling me. “You’re a fucking goddess. I could worship those tits all day.”
I don’t know what to do with all the compliments he’s piled on me. It’s surreal to consider he might actually mean them. But, uh, tit worship? Yes, please.
He’s all disheveled dark hair and stormy eyes. He slept in a pair of black sweats that leave his chest and arms on display. There’s also the serious bulge in his pants.
I’ve seen other dicks. Not in person, but online, in movies, Justin Bieber paparazzi pics, whatever. Nothing could have prepared me for Felix. He’s long and thick and gorgeous. The Felix Walters experience does not disappoint.
“Stop looking at me like that, babe.” He pulls my tank and sweatshirt down to cover me but keeps running his hand along the curve of my waist.
“Like what?” I taunt him a little. I can’t get over the rush it is having a simple look or touch get him all riled up. I made him hard. Me.
“Like you want to climb me like a tree and lick me all over.”
My face heats. That’s exactly what I want to do.
He groans and climbs off me, readjusting himself while staring at me lying on his bed. “Next time, we’re staying at your place.”
The promise of next time makes my stomach flip.
“You don’t think Jane would break down the door?” I arch a brow as I sit up. I run a hand through my tangled hair as I look around for my bra.
“Good point, but you know, the more hot girls, the merrier.”
My jaw drops, and he falls forward, perfect six-pack flexing, as he laughs.
“So not funny.” I stand on the bed and launch a pillow at him.
“It was a little funny.” He grins at me, easily dodging all three of his pillows I toss at his head.
When I’m out of ammunition, he lunges for me. He grabs me around the legs and tosses me over his shoulder. He smacks my butt as he stalks over to the door of his room. Once we’re there, he lets me slide down until my face hovers in front of his.
I place a hand over my mouth. “I haven’t brushed my teeth.”
“Morning breath won’t save you now.”
“What about breakfast?”
He presses me against the door. “They can’t break it down if we’re standing in front of it.”
Ten minutes later, lips tender from all the kissing we’ve done for the past twelve hours, Felix and I emerge from his bedroom. I’m all out of sorts with reality. I can’t believe I spent the night with Felix. We crossed off so many firsts for me, and it still somehow doesn’t feel like enough.
I duck into the bathroom after him and finally swipe some toothpaste over my teeth, gargle some mouthwash, and clean the black smudges from underneath my eyes. When I step into the living room, Felix, his roommates and sisters are all sitting around waiting on me.
Felix jumps up. “Are we ready?”
I hide behind him, running my fingers through my hair. I’m sure I look every bit the part of a girl who spent all night and morning making out.
“I’m starving.” Stella gets to her feet, followed by the rest of the group.
“Hideout?” Lucas asks, spinning his keys around one finger.
Everyone agrees and we head out the front door.
“Dahlia and I are going to take my car. We’ll meet you there,” Felix says, taking my hand and guiding me toward his orange Corvette parked at the curb.
“Don’t get lost,” Stella warns with a knowing look.
Felix opens the passenger door for me.
I pause before climbing in. “I’m coming?”
“You thought I was gonna kick you to the curb this morning?” He arches a disbelieving brow.
“Umm…” Kind of, yeah. Or at least drop me off at my house and go about whatever he had planned for the day.
“Well, fuck. Even I’m not that big of an asshole.” He chuckles. “Besides, I want to stare at your puffy lips a little longer. I love knowing they’re all swollen and red from me.”
Proving his point, he steps closer, backing me into the side of the car and kissing me stupid until the others honk and yell out their windows for us to hurry up.
“Come to breakfast with me and then after, I’ll drive you home. I’d invite you back here, but I have to go to the fieldhouse later for film review.”
“Yeah, of course. I have stuff to do today, too.” Like catch up with Jane. She’s sent a dozen texts already this morning.
He swipes his lips over mine once more and then steps back.
At The Hideout, I slide into a booth next to Felix. Lucas is on the other side of him, with Holly, Teddy, and Stella across from us.
Someone orders a pitcher of mimosas, but Felix and I stick to water.
Felix raises his glass. “Happy birthday, Teddy.”
“It’s your birthday?” I ask the big guy across from me.
A shy smile tugs at one side of his mouth, and he nods.
“Oh my gosh.” I elbow Felix. “I had no idea. Happy birthday.”
“You didn’t tell her why we were having breakfast?” Stella asks.
“I thought I mentioned it.” He grins as he takes a drink.
“Uh-huh.” Lucas snorts. “Because it sounded like you two were doing a whole lot of talking in there this morning.”
My face flushes. Felix drops an open palm to my thigh.
We order lots of food and the conversation is light and fun.
The guys talk about last night’s game, Holly forces us all to sing Happy Birthday to a red-faced Teddy, and I quietly take it all in.
I’m enjoying seeing this side of Felix. He’s relaxed and happy, and his touches come easier now, like he’s no longer putting up a wall between us.
I’m still in his sweatshirt. The only way I’m giving it back is if he physically removes it from me.
“Dahlia, are you coming to breakfast with us on parents’ weekend?” Stella asks.
My gaze flicks to Felix. “Umm…I’m not sure.”
Holly glances between her brother and me, and with no malice in her tone says, “Do you two ever come up for air long enough to talk?”
I blush harder.
“You have to come,” Stella adds. “Our parents will be so excited to meet you.”
Felix doesn’t seem at all concerned that his sisters are inviting me to meet his parents. His hand remains steady on my thigh.
“If Felix won’t invite you, then I will.” Stella grins. “Be my date.”
“I didn’t invite her because I forgot about it,” he says casually.
“Actually, I can’t anyway,” I say. “I just remembered I have a golf tournament and I think my dad is coming up to watch.”
Felix looks to me. “A tournament at Valley?”
“Yeah.”
One side of his mouth lifts. “That’s cool. Can I come watch?”
“No,” I say quickly.
He scoffs. “Why not?”
I laugh and the honest reply slides out before I can stop it, “Because you’re very distracting.”
