Chapter 17
Chapter Seventeen
Though she tried not to watch the clock tick down the hours until she would see Rooker again, it was a challenge. Daytime was easier because her job kept her busy, but evenings were difficult and the nights were nearly impossible.
One task she’d taken on during the evenings was to sort, purge, and begin to pack her belongings. By Wednesday evening, she had determined that no matter what her sisters thought, she would be moving in with Rooker instead of moving to the apartment.
During the long nights, she ended up spending hours making new critters instead of sleeping.
Lying in bed alone without her big, warm Daddy beside her was too difficult.
While reading would take her mind off her current situation, it did not keep her busy enough.
Working a new, difficult pattern for a fox kept both her hands and her mind busy.
Despite being grumpy because of what Lottie was making them all go through, she tried to keep things civil with her sisters.
The last thing she wanted was to start an argument with them.
She loved them and they were the only family they had left.
She did not want to lose them, even if she was beginning to think that Lottie was a class-A bitch for demanding they go a week with communicating with their men.
Instead of hanging out with them in the living room, she spent more and more time in her bedroom, alone.
When Sunday morning finally rolled around, she could not wait for nine o’clock. The only problem was they had not determined whether Rooker would come out to the house, or if they would meet somewhere else. She did not want him to have to go through the sister gauntlet again.
She was dressed and pacing the living room when a car pulled into the driveway.
She smiled when the driver climbed out and stood looking around.
Since the eviction, they had not been taking care of the yard and gardens and suddenly she was embarrassed that he was seeing the house with the yard in such disarray.
Carri wanted to race out to him, but a look at her sisters who were sitting in the living room watching for their men to show up, she knew that would not go over well. Instead, she moved to the hall and stood there with one hand on the front door.
She waited until she heard his footsteps on the porch before opening the door and stepping out. She grinned widely as she threw herself at him, knowing he would catch her.
And he did.
Hugging him tight, Carri relaxed for the first time since leaving him the week before. “I missed you,” she admitted softly as she snuggled her face into his chest and breathed him in.
“I missed you, too. I almost came out here a half dozen times, but forced myself to stay away,” Rooker said as he hugged her tight and dropped kissed on the top of her head. “But we made it, and now you’re all mine. Or have you had a change of heart about moving in with me?”
Carri pulled back so she could look up into his eyes. “No way … unless you’ve decided you want to wait?”
“Absolutely not. You’re coming home with me today. If we have to come back for your stuff, we will, but you’re going to be sleeping in my bed tonight and all the nights to come.”
Carri sighed as she smiled. “That sounds wonderful to me. I’ve already packed my car, but there are a few more boxes, if they’ll fit in your car.”
“They will, one way or another,” Rooker assured her with a grin.
He then dropped his head and kissed her. The mating of their lips had her pussy growing wet and everything in her wanting to fuck him right here, right now. Every other thought in her brain except how soon they could get to his house and his bedroom floated away.
“Why don’t we go up to my room?” she suggested with a wink and a grin.
“All right, but we’re not having sex until we get back to my house, unload both cars, and there is no one around to hear you scream before your nap this afternoon. We also have a spanking to deal with to clear your spanks tally.”
“Aww, Daddy, that’s too far away.” She pouted. “And I think we should start with a clean tally. After all, we’ve been apart for a whole week.”
He brushed one last kiss on her lips before releasing her and stepping back. “And what kind of Daddy would I be if I just ignored your naughtiness. The answer is a bad Daddy. Besides, you’ve waited a week to be with me, you can wait a couple hours more.”
Carri blinked up at him. “A couple hours? I’m going to expire of neglect.”
Rooker turned her around and swatted her ass. “I doubt it, babygirl. Just remember, the faster we pack and unpack, the faster we’ll get to deal with your punishment and then take a nap.”
“Ouchie, Daddy. That’s not nice,” she said as she opened the door and pulled him along behind her into the house.
“It may not be nice, but it got you moving, so it was effective,” Rooker replied with a chuckle that sent shivers through her.
Rooker was impressed at Carri’s packing abilities.
He began to think he should hire her away from her current job to head up the online sales team.
But that discussion could wait until after she settled into his home and her new life as his Little girl.
He only hoped she liked the changes he made while he waited out her sister’s one-week no- contact moratorium.
The boxes she had left in her room fit easily into his car and after one last warning about treating their sister well, Lottie and Tilly hugged them both and promised to come by in a few days to visit.
Carri’s eyes were full of tears as he helped her into her car, but she wiped them away and smiled up at him.
“I’m ready to go to your house, Daddy.”
“Our house, babygirl,” he corrected gently.
She nodded. “Our house.”
“All right. Follow me and we’ll be home before you know it,” he said, leaning in to brush one last kiss on her lips. “I love you, little artist.”
“I love you, too, Daddy.”
He walked to his car with a full heart, anxious to get his woman home and settled into her new life as his woman, his Little, and the resident critter artist for his store.
The End
