Cathal Chapter 19
It had been three days since the attack at our wedding reception.
There hadn’t been another, but everyone was on high alert for something else to happen.
It hadn’t. Well, not anything from an outside source.
Internally, there had been a fight. No, thankfully, it wasn’t between Bronagh and me. It was between my wife and her dad.
The reason was that Faolán decided he wasn’t staying on the compound with us.
He told her he needed to get back to where he was visible, before someone thought he was dead and made more moves on his territory.
Bronagh had argued with him that it would be stupid to expose himself, especially after what happened at the reception.
I saw her in a nasty mood. And boy, did she stand up to him and fight to keep him at the commune.
However, I saw where she got her stubbornness, too.
They were both the same, so in the end, he kissed her goodbye, ordered me not to let her so much as get a hangnail, or he’d be back, and I wouldn’t like it.
Then he hugged me, much to my surprise, and under the cover of darkness, he and his entourage slipped away.
That was last night. Bronagh had barely slept, but we got word earlier today that he was back in Las Cruces, surrounded by more security and running things. He was staying in contact with her and Darragh.
Meanwhile, on our end, Cody and his team were working overtime. They were finding everything they could on the farm outside Milford. I was worried the men there would pack up and leave when they heard nothing back from their first team.
However, Cody somehow obtained satellite photos showing the farm was still full of people.
As for the warehouse in Detroit, that place had been dead quiet, but they probably only used it when they had a recruitment event.
And according to what we got out of the three we captured, those happened every couple of months.
And the last one was a month ago. Although with as many as they had lost, they may push up their timeline.
That meant the warehouse was under constant surveillance by someone with a drone whom Cody knew and trusted.
We were gearing up to make the move against the farm, but we wanted more information.
It would do us no good to ride in there, wipe them out, and let the bosses get away.
And to avoid that, we needed to know who they were.
Where were they? And anything else that would help us capture them and fully dismantle their operation.
The clue about Sault Ste. Marie had been the key, but it wasn’t as simple as we imagined.
Those first names weren’t as uncommon as we thought, but they weren’t found in Michigan.
Then Cody switched to the Ontario side, and bingo: he found brothers named Primo and Lotario, and their last name was Methot.
They were Italian on their mother’s side and French on their father’s.
Apparently, Mom got to give them their first names since their last name was very French.
From what Cody’s team had found so far, they were rumored to be involved in all kinds of unsavory things on both sides, using Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, as their home base.
They had dual citizenship. Through their mother, they were American citizens, and through their father, Canadian, so that they could move freely back and forth across the US-Canada border. They’d also been tied to illegal activities in the Detroit area.
As for the possible reason they’d want territory in Las Cruces of all places, that hadn’t been determined yet, but my gut told me we’d soon know.
And once we had that, and exactly where the Methot brothers were when we made our move, so we could get our hands on them before they went to ground and disappeared, we’d make our moves.
Faolán insisted that when the time came, he would send some of his men with ours since it was his family they had gone after first. We couldn’t argue with that.
To keep ourselves from going crazy, now that my father-in-law had left, I had special plans for my beautiful, sexy wife. We should be on our honeymoon, but we couldn’t make time for a real one at the moment, so we’d have a locked-away one.
I hadn’t told Bronagh my plans other than to ask if it would be possible for her to unplug from her work for a few days. When she asked why, I told her she’d find out. She was finishing up one project today so she could take time away.
I hadn’t gotten a chance to introduce her to much of the kink I loved.
What better time than now? I’d arranged for plenty of groceries to be brought in.
After all, we’d need nourishment. And for the family not to disturb us unless it was critical or time to go after the Methot brothers and their people.
I spoke to Darragh as the head of the family.
He swore that he’d pass along my wish and threaten them if anyone disturbed us. I knew he meant it.
I had prepared my various toys and implements I wanted for the hours and hours to come. I set the mood in our bedroom. Candles, while they gave ambiance, could be used for other things, too.
Since I’d confessed about Wicked and my secret desires, we’d had several conversations discussing what I would like to do with her. I was pleased when she agreed to try most of them. She’d been a little hesitant on a few, which we put in the maybe category.
I’d made it clear that it was all about consent and communication.
If she didn’t want to do something or needed me to stop, all she had to do was tell me.
If she wanted to slow down, get an explanation, or talk about it more, speak up.
I told her I wanted to know what fed her fantasies and for her not to be shy to share them or ask for what she wanted. If it were a no for me, I’d tell her.
As a part of that, I introduced her to the concept of a contract, like what you’d enter into if you were at Wicked Desires and were doing it the right way.
A contract should list all your expectations and what was a yes, maybe, or hell no as far as play and sex.
Safe words were often part of it. I’d shown her what the sample contract used at Wicked looked like.
She’d studied it intently, then insisted we complete one between the two of us.
I told her it didn’t need to be that formal with us, or that she could wait until she was comfortable with what she wanted, but she said she wanted to do this right.
That was when she asked if I’d used a contract with any of the women I’d been with there.
I couldn’t lie. I told her yes. That’s when Bronagh said that it shouldn’t be different, even if we were married.
Finally, I gave in, and last night we went through the one I used.
We modified it to reflect what we both wanted.
I had the clean version on the nightstand for her to sign before we began anything.
The tingle of excitement I always got before embarking on play with a new partner hit me, but it was far more intense than anything I had with someone else.
I wanted to ease her into things. And I had what I thought was the ideal way to start.
I had my accessories prepared and waiting in the stand.
I’d taken a shower earlier. I told Bronagh that when she finished her work, she should bathe, then text me when she was ready.
I banned her from our suite so I could prepare.
She used one of the bathrooms upstairs. Part of my instruction was to make sure her hair was pinned up.
I’d left her what I wanted her to wear for me.
I’d been dreaming of things to do with her, so I was prepared.
Even though I asked Dar to let the family know not to disturb us except in an emergency, I’d set the house’s security system so that no one’s code would unlock the doors except Dar’s.
I trusted him not to forget. It was just in case.
My family was used to just walking into each other’s homes, especially if someone was single.
I wouldn’t chance any of them actually seeing us in the middle of something.
My cell phone buzzed on the dresser once, alerting me to a text message. Praying it was Bronagh, I hurried over to see it.
Mo Ghrá Amháin: I’m ready.
Me: Come to the bedroom door, but don’t enter. Knock then wait.
Mo Ghrá Amháin: Coming.
I put down my phone, ran my gaze over the room one more time to make sure it was ready, then went to stand next to the door.
I’d kept it closed in case she was tempted to peek.
It felt like forever before Bronagh’s soft knock was heard.
Smiling, I opened the door only far enough to allow her inside.
“Come in,” I told her.
She eagerly entered. I watched her eyes widen, her mouth open, and heard a tiny gasp escape her.
“Cathal, it looks wonderful here. And thank you for this, though I have to say, if you intended for it to cover much, it doesn’t leave a lot to the imagination,” she said, giving me a smoldering look.
What I left for her was a short robe that hit at the top of her thighs.
It was made of see-through fabric if you looked closely at the design.
It was a swirl of bold black and turquoise, and I knew she would love it.
I saw her areolas peeking through. And at the V of her legs, her hair-covered mound showed, too.
I’d chosen to wear tight black briefs. They did nothing to hide the erection I was growing at the sight of her.
“It’s doing exactly what I intended,” I told her, gesturing to the lump growing in my briefs.
Bronagh moaned, and her hand came toward me, but I captured it, preventing contact. She made a disappointed sound.
“Now, now, no touching unless I say you can. You have to be a good customer if you want a happy ending,” I told her.
“Customer? Happy ending?”
“Yes, welcome to Cathal’s Massages & More. If you’ll go to the bed and stand, I have the paperwork you need to sign before your session.
