Cathal Epilogue Just Over One Year Later

Everyone was gathered for the Memorial Day weekend celebration. We’d had the whole family, extended family, and close friends at the commune. Those friends included bikers. Yeah, not what most people would imagine the O’Sheeran family inviting into their home, but we loved being unpredictable.

And the truth of the matter was, those bikers had our backs more than a few times.

And we’d returned the favor. The Horsemen of Wrath, led by Diablo, had expanded rapidly over the past several years, with almost all of them settled down, and as for the Grave Prowlers, their medic, Zephyr, and their president, Raider, had both settled.

We knew from experience that once the process started, there was no stopping it, and the rest dropped like dominoes.

As for our family, we had both struggles and wins.

The struggle came in completing the elimination of the Methots’ operation.

A few revelations came to light, one of which was unexpected and had a significant impact on our family.

On the good side of things, we’d had one more family member fall in love with their anamchara.

Our entire family was thrilled, even if they came together in an even crazier way than Bronagh and I.

During that time, the family decided to add something to the secret Hive beneath our compound.

Even though we had the warehouse and Alistair’s cabin, there were times when moving people to them wasn’t the way to go.

So, we’d had an extension added to one of the existing tunnels.

It housed an area where we could hold prisoners and conduct our kind of discussions in total peace and security.

As for my incredible wife and me, we were going strong, and our love strengthened every day. And as of three months ago, I’d succeeded in getting her pregnant. We’d let things settle down with the Methots first. Though neither of us wanted to wait, it was the mature thing to do.

When we announced it to our families, they’d been overjoyed. The baby, whose sex we hadn’t found out yet, was due on the first day of November. My aunts and uncles complained it wasn’t fair that Mam and Daid had four of their five children married and that they were adding their sixth grandbaby.

They teasingly lectured their children to get with the program and start producing.

Cian and Miranda loudly protested, saying they’d done their duty for a second time, which was correct.

They had their baby toward the end of last September.

It was all done in fun, but we knew our parents wanted all of us to be happy and to have the families we wanted.

I caught a glimpse of my father-in-law speaking to Judge. I had no idea what it was about, but they were talking animatedly. Seeing Judge, I thought of the last tattoo he gave me and the first he gave my wife. We’d done it. Gotten each other’s names proudly displayed on my chest and hers.

The tattoo combined our family crests and each other’s names.

Both had tasteful primroses to soften them and make them less masculine.

I didn’t mind the flowers at all. They were a symbol from Irish folklore thought to be the realm of the faeries.

They were believed to welcome blessings from the magical world of the Fae and to protect one’s home.

They came in clusters and a variety of colors. Ours was the red-and-yellow variety.

Even after a year, I couldn’t believe I stood here, happier than I had ever been in my life.

I had a wife I loved and who loved me. Our first child was on its way.

I had my anamchara despite all the odds.

And Bronagh had become my ideal wife, lover, and playmate.

She was more than capable of meeting all my kink needs and wants.

And she had admitted that our exploration had opened up so many things for her.

Catching sight of her, I glanced up at the sky.

It was getting dark. Fireworks would light up the sky once night fully descended.

After that, I had plans involving my wife and the wooded area at the back of the commune.

Tonight, I was letting out my primal side to play.

And my lovely wife was to be my prey. She particularly loved when we played predator and prey. I found myself growing hard.

Needing to be near her to stretch out the anticipation for us both, I smiled as I began my walk toward her. As if she sensed me, Bronagh’s eyes turned to me. She stared for a moment, then a sultry expression filled her face. Oh, yes, tonight was going to be so exciting.
