Chapter 8 - Max
Maria's mouth feels like heaven around me, hot and wet and utterly sinful. I grip her hair tighter, hips snapping forward as I chase my release.
"Oh fuck, just like that," I groan, vision blurring with pleasure, “I’m so close!”
Maria nods fervently, staring up at me with desperate, pleading eyes. That's all the encouragement I need.
With a guttural growl, I feel the coil of tension in my gut snap. Pleasure crashes over me in waves as I spill myself into Maria's eager mouth. She swallows every last drop, humming contentedly around my softening dick.
When I'm finally spent, I pull out of her mouth with a low hiss. Maria sits back on her heels, gazing up at me through hooded eyes. Her lips are swollen and glistening, a thin trail of saliva and cum running down her chin.
"Fuck, Maria," I rasp, reaching down to run my thumb along the line of her jaw. "You have no idea how good you look right now."
She licks her lips, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"I think I have some idea," she murmurs.
Slowly, almost languidly, she shifts until she's sitting cross-legged on the floor, legs splayed in a decidedly shameless display.
I groan, my cock twitching feebly at the sight.
"You're going to be the death of me, you know that?"
Maria laughs, the sound rich and throaty, "Well, at least you'll die a happy man."
I chuckle and shake my head in bemusement, lowering myself to the floor beside her.
"Can't argue with that."
Maria sighs, running a hand through her thoroughly disheveled hair.
"I can't believe we just did that... here, of all places."
I chuckle, reaching out to tuck an errant strand behind her ear, "What, you've never had a little fun in the workplace before?"
She levels me with an exasperated look, but I catch the faint dusting of color in her cheeks.
"Of course not! This is my livelihood, not some...some playground for...for..."
"For fun activities?" I supply helpfully, grinning impishly.
Maria scowls, smacking my arm lightly, "Shut up. I have a reputation to uphold, you know."
"Mmhmm, and I'm sure you did a stellar job of that just now," I tease, earning another halfhearted glare.
Before she can fight back, a muffled voice calls out from the other side of the door.
"Maria? Is everything alright back there?"
Maria's eyes widen comically, and she scrambles to her feet.
"Shit, that's Jenna!" she hisses, hastily straightening her clothes and trying to tame her wild hair.
I chuckle, watching her frantic movements with no small amount of amusement.
"The bakery girl."
"Yes, and my best friend," Maria replies distractedly. "She's going to know something's up if I don't get out there soon."
"Then by all means, don't let me keep you," I say, gesturing grandly towards the door.
Maria pauses, leveling me with a stern look.
"This isn't over, you know. We're going to have to...to talk about this. Whatever 'this' is."
I raise my hands in a placating gesture, "Hey, no judgment here. Take all the time you need, sweetheart."
She rolls her eyes, though I catch the faint quirk of her lips.
"Don't call me 'sweetheart'," she mutters, before straightening her shoulders and striding towards the door.
I watch as she opens it, pasting on what I'm sure is her best customer-service smile.
"Jenna! Hi, sorry about that, I was just...um, checking on something in the back."
"Uh-huh, sure you were," comes the amused reply, "You know, for someone who's usually so elegant and classy, you're looking awfully...disheveled."
I can practically hear the smile in Jenna's voice, and I have to bite back a laugh as Maria's shoulders tense.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," she huffs, the flustered edge to her voice betraying her. "Now, how long have you been standing out here, exactly?"
Jenna's laughter echoes through the small space, and I can just imagine the sly grin on her face.
"Long enough, Maria. Long enough."
I can practically see the mortification radiating off Maria as she stands there, her best friend's knowing laughter ringing out.
"Jenna, this isn't funny!" she hisses, her voice low and strained. "Seriously, how long have you been standing out here?"
"Long enough to know that you and your new 'tenant' have been getting a little...cozy in the back room," Jenna replies, her tone positively dripping with mischief.
I can almost picture Maria's cheeks flushing a brilliant red as she sputters indignantly.
"I-I have no idea what you're talking about! Nothing happened. I was just..." She pauses, visibly grasping for an excuse. "I was just checking on the, uh, the lighting situation back here, that's all."
Jenna snorts indelicately.
"Right, the 'lighting situation'. Is that what they're calling it these days?"
I have to bite the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing out loud at Maria's flustered attempts to cover up what we'd just been doing. She really is quite adorable when she's so clearly out of her element.
"Jenna, please, you can't tell anyone about this," Maria pleads, her voice taking on a slightly desperate edge. "This is my livelihood. I can't have rumors spreading around town about...about inappropriate workplace behavior!"
Her friend seems to take pity on her then, because her tone softens ever so slightly.
"Hey, relax, M. Your secret's safe with me, okay? You’re my best friend. I'm not about to go blabbing to the whole town about your little...adventure."
"It wasn't like that!" Maria protests weakly, before heaving a weary sigh. "Ugh, I can't believe this is happening."
"Believe it, girl," Jenna replies, no doubt wearing a shit-eating grin. "Though I have to say, I'm impressed. I didn't think you had it in you to get all hot and heavy in the back room of your cute and cozy craft store."
Maria groans, and I can just picture her burying her face in her hands.
"Please, Jenna, can we just...change the subject? I really don't want to talk about this anymore."
Jenna chuckles, the sound laced with amusement.
"Alright, alright, I'll lay off. For now, at least." She pauses, and I can almost see the sly grin spreading across her face. "But you know I'm gonna want all the juicy details later, right?"
"Jenna!" Maria exclaims, sounding scandalized.
I have to stifle another laugh as I listen to the two women bicker good-naturedly. It's clear they have a close relationship, and I can't help but feel a bit envy, wishing I had someone like that in my life.
After a few more moments of playful back-and-forth, Maria finally manages to wrangle Jenna out of the store, muttering something about getting back to work. As their footsteps recede, I lean back against the table, a small smile tugging at the corners of my mouth.
"Well, that was certainly...interesting," I muse to myself, running a hand through my messy hair.
