The hours the guys were gone were agonizing.

I tried to stay busy and not think about it, but that was impossible.

I knew staying at the house would make me worse, so Mishap and I spent it at the clubhouse with the others.

Everyone was on edge, though the others covered it up way better than I did.

I was reassured by several of them that the guys knew what they were doing and they’d be back soon.

At one twenty in the morning, Vincenzo whistled, then pointed to the monitors they had over the bar.

They were on, and on one of them was the front gate.

It opened, and in came the van the guys took to the strip club.

There were no bikes with them, but I’d been told they would come later.

However, the van didn’t stop at the clubhouse, I discovered when the door remained shut.

“They had to take him back to our holding spot. It’s on the backside of the compound. They’ll be back once they have him settled,” Mishap explained.

Eventually, the door opened and in came Ryder.

He was pelted with questions. He held up his hand to get everyone to hush before he gave a brief rundown.

I was left scared that something went wrong after Ryder and Kingston left the strip club.

What if Chaos, Troublemaker, Storm, Rage, and Eagle got caught?

Kingston was watching Sinclair at the holding spot.

I overheard Ryder refer to it as the Thieves’ Hole.

Just as he finished telling the story, the monitor I’d been watching showed bikes riding up to the gate and the gate opening.

“There they are!” I more or less shouted.

I noticed that Eagle was riding with Storm.

The five of them came straight to the clubhouse.

When they walked in, they were greeted. I flew to Chaos the way Betty went to Rage.

As we hugged and kissed, I heard the guys teasing Eagle about riding bitch behind Storm.

I broke away because I laughed when Storm said that it would never happen again, because Eagle kept feeling him up the entire way home, telling him how sexy and hard his muscles were.

That had the entire club losing it. Eagle was a good sport.

He smirked and told Storm he knew he loved it.

It was a couple of minutes before the laughter finally died down and they got serious again. It had lessened the tension in the room, probably why Storm said it. It was Wrath who brought everyone back to the task at hand.

“Alright, we can torture VP and Eagle later. We can get mileage out of that. Right now, I want to see hands up from those who would like to go have our discussion with our unwanted guest now rather than get some rest, let him stew, and then do it later this morning?”

I looked around the room at the hands in the air, and I counted. There were fifteen members. Those in favor of not waiting were all of them. Chaos glanced down at me. I was still in his arms.

“Binx, I want you to go to the house and get some sleep. Take Mishap with you. He’s dead on his feet. It’ll be hours before we’re done with our guest. You don’t need to stay awake for it. When we’re finished, I’ll come home, and I’ll tell you everything. Okay?”

I wanted to say no and insist I go with them, but I wasn’t sure if I was up to watching them torture someone. And I knew that it was coming. I would hate for the guys to go easy on the bastard because I was there and they were worried about how I’d react. I sighed, then nodded.

“Okay, I’ll do it, but if I’m asleep when you get home, wake me up. Don’t wait. I have to know.”

“I will. Mishap, I need you to keep an eye on her and make sure she stays at the house. She’s exhausted. You should get some rest too, brother,” Chaos told my cousin.

There was a mild disagreement because Mishap wanted to see the show.

In the end, a compromise was made. I would go to hang out at Cambria and Shadow’s place.

She was wound up, and I could tell how tired she was.

The pregnancy she and Shadow announced not long ago was taking a toll on her.

And it was all thanks to Shadow that we reached this compromise.

He walked over with her in tow and asked if I’d mind doing it.

He said he’d feel better if someone stayed with her, and Betty and Jalisa would be at Jalisa and Wrath’s house.

I agreed, leaving my cousin free to go with the others.

The men took us to Shadow and Cambria’s house, which was two houses down from Chaos’s before they left. Cambria asked me if I’d like some hot chocolate. I accepted and settled in to allow the men to do their work.
